There are threats, and there are even more threats in RU. I have grown to like this tier because of its generally quick yet strategic playstyle. I have always been an offensive player, even hyper-offensive at times. As you can assume by the name I have christened this team with, you can see the style and synergy of this team. I am still looking to get the formula right to take on the vast majority or the RarelyUsed tier, but I believe I am getting pretty close acclimated into the tier.

From start to finish, I will show the creation of this team and each spread (which is also importable if you're into that stuff).

magneton.gif

How do they work? (Magneton) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Magneton is a Pokemon I have always had a soft spot for. I am not sure why but it has always stood out to me as such a potent wallbreaker and Steel killer (although in this case it's only the former). The standard Choice Specs set is standard, so there isn't much explanation here. I opted for Hidden Power Grass to nail Seismitoad on the switch and Quagsire gets demolished as well. As you will see with the RMT each wallbreaker compliments the last in order to create enough leeway to break down an opponent's team.

dugtrio.gif

Holy Moly (Dugtrio) @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge Aerial Ace
- Sucker Punch
- Memento Substitute
It is hard not to like Dugtrio for what it does (which is obviously trap and revenge kill things). The likes of Drapion, Ambipom (post-Fake Out), most fire-types and steel types are brought to their knees when trapped in Dugtrio's pit. I have considered a Focus Sash to ensure at least a revenge kill but the drop in power Dugtrio has is VERY significant. I originally had stone Edge for Sigilyph and the like, but Tyrantrum is satisfactory in those avenues, and as suggested by MrAldo, Sub is there for capitalizing on slower foes for when faster threats come in. Life Orb simply proves much more useful to ensure the revenge kill the first time, and Memento is a nice nasty surprise for anything looking to set up or wallbreak.

tyrantrum.gif

Om Nom Nom (Tyrantrum) @ Stone Plate
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Polish
- Head Smash
- Outrage
- Crunch Iron Head Earthquake
Tyrantrum is another favorite of mine, but it is not the major factor in which I put him on my team. I needed immediate power and the ability to set up (not everything can stand alone without setting up). Adamant Tyrantrum does the job very nicely, and Stone Plate Life Orb-boosted Head Smash ensures a lot of immediate power. Nothing like a recoil-free base 225 (after STAB) power move, right?! Opt for Dragon Claw over Outrage if you want but the power drop-off is significant, and Iron Head rounds out coverage and nails Aromatisse for massive damage. I have attempted to use Crunch and Earthquake and neither move has really been used much. I guess the last move is a toss-up so it can be catered to what you have trouble facing. You'll be spamming Head Smash nine times out of ten anyways. I have opted for Stone Plate over a Life Orb in order to prevent residual damage, making Tyrantrum less likely to be revenge killed. Once again suggested by MrAldo, Life Orb has proven to net more KOs in the long run!

emboar.gif

Nappy Bacon (Emboar) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Wild Charge
- Will-O-Wisp
This team is called the Hole Punchers after all, so what team like this would be complete without Emboar. Originally on the team, the Choice Scar set has proven to give my team a much-needed speed boost, while still breaking through the enemy team with the appropriate coverage move. The fourth moveslot is still up for grabs, and I don't like using Sleep Talk since a move gamble isn't in my favor.

mesprit.gif

Head Pixie (Mesprit) @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Healing Wish
I am guessing if there is any team member that could potentially be traded out it's Mesprit here. I do like its versatility and Healing Wish has been a very handy move late-game. What this Pokemon does well is check Sigilyph, Hitmonless and Virizion. This is the only hazard setter I have put in because I need offensive momentum to be there, which is another reason I really enjoy the use of Healing Wish. If there are any suggestions that could be used I would be happy to hear them!

samurott.gif

The Sword (Samurott) @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Taunt
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
MrAldo had a very good point in that Samurott was a faster, more versatile form of Clawitzer. As sad as it is to say goodbye to him, Samurott's Taunt has proven more than useful in stopping Scrafty, Amoonguss and various others. With that said, this also aids in Tyrantrum's sweep, which is my usual goal. Standard coverage is standard.

THREATS

steelix.gif
alomomola.gif
flygon.gif
scrafty.gif
exploud.gif
camerupt.gif

In a quick summary, these four pokemon are what this team hates to see! Flygon (more often than not Choice Scarfed), gives most of my team a problem by coming in and inflicting a lot of damage except to Golbat (the reason I picked him in the first place!) Dragon Dance Scrafty has proven more than a pain for my team, most likely able to sweep at +2 once Golbat bites the dust. Knock Off is a major thorn in this team's side as well. Exploud's ability to inflict tons of damage with Boomburst (since I have no normal resists) is an issue so Scarfed variants are generally able to net at least a KO or two. Camerupt is somewhat the same problem, except it can take any hit from my team barring Clawitzer Samurott. It is difficult to face Camerupt without taking some sort of massive damage.

Samurott provides an answer to all four of these pokemon, but once he is down these pokemon are still a problem! Although I have not seen much of this core, the omni-present Mega Lix-Alomomola core wrecks house on offensive teams like this as well.

Thank you for taking a look at this team! It has really been working for me over the past few weeks, and I hope you can use it to its potential as well!

Pretty solid team. Really like the idea behind magneton + tyrantrum which can overwhelm each other checks pretty effectively.

I dont see the point of running iron head on tyrantrum when head smash hit the intended targets for it much more harder. Id recommend running earthquake instead of iron head since it guarantee solid damage on most of its checks and can hit mega camerupt for really solid damage, mon that seems annoying to you. Life orb over stone plate on it since you have healing wish support in the back

I think the initial version of the team with emboar is far better than the one of golbat tbh. Instead of expert belt on emboar, choice scarf on emboar is a neat option that gives you a great revenge killer against the likes of scrafty and exploud and mesprit can proceed to straight destroy flygon with ice beam, which emboar appreciates gone. One of the slots in scarf emboar is generally a filler so you can run Will-o-wisp on it to lure flygon since it is one of the most common switch-ins for it. It also appreciates the healing wish support from mesprit, letting you play more aggresively.

Samurott > Clawitzer. Samurott is much more effective than clawitzer nowadays due to better speed while running a special attacking boosting nature and getting over the likes of exploud and scrafty with it. A set of Taunt / Grass Knot / Ice Beam / Hydro Pump with 4 def / 252 spA / 252 speed modest nature. Outspeed scrafty and exploud and hit then hard with hydro pump, taunt for passive builds so mola cant proceed to PP stall you and alongside magneton you can pressure them much more effectively. The rest is efficient neutral coverage which hit mostly everything hard meaning it has minimal switch-ins. Also, with emboar back the need for aura sphere on clawitzer is no more.

Lastly, Substitute over memento and aerial ace over stone edge on dugtrio. With tyrantrum being your only setup sweeper and the team being decently build to pave a way in order to sweep, I dont see the need behind memento since tyrantrum thanks to its bulk and typing a good amount of setup opportunities. Substitute minimize the risk of using dugtrio, effectively improving its matchups against faster threats. Aerial ace over stone edge on dugtrio since trapping the likes of virizion is extremely important for this team, massive threat and emboar is already pressured to check plenty of things.

Emboar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Wild Charge
- Flare Blitz
- Will-O-Wisp
- Superpower

Samurott @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 29 HP / 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump

Dugtrio @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Aerial Ace
- Substitute
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
I would consider dazzling gleam over ice beam on mesprit but since flygon is pretty annoying for you I wont. Hope this helps, keep it up :)

I completely agree with what MrAldo said and there are a few notes I'd like to add. Your team currently has a pretty difficult time against the extremely common Alomomola + Mega Steelix core. Mega Steelix would destroy your entire team except for Clawitzer, which is checked by Alomomola. Emboar adds an immense amount of pressure to this core and, with Scarf, some much needed speed. Samurott prevents Alomomola from passing Wishes and deals decent damage to it.

In addition to swapping in Emboar and Samurott, I think Accelgor would be a good fit. Spike stacking is great for ensuring KOes and Final Gambit is really effective at getting surprise kills on things like Scrafty, Mega Steelix, and Exploud. I'd probably replace Dugtrio with Accelgor since your team should be better at revenge killing now with Emboar. Dugtrio has its value too, but with your offensive style, I think you'll really like Accelgor.

Accelgor @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Final Gambit
- Encore
- Bug Buzz

Thank you so much for the feedback! Stupid posts are stupid so I had to re-make the reply! I'm really excited to see where this takes me on the ladder now.

Hey cool team :)
I see that it has a problem facing other offensive builds, especially the one that brings Scarf Flygon, as when Mesprit is dead it can get an easy kill everytime it has a switch, and Mesprit will be always dead after the early/mid game because in an offensive team like the your it has to setup rocks as fast as possible, while Healing Wish and the lack of a recovery don't help with his longevity. Pursuit Sneasel over Magneton is a possible change that your team might appreciate. Sneasel will be able to deal some residual damage on Flygon when he switches out fearing the Ice Shard.
I don't really have anything more to add as MrAldo and PingPong said pretty much everything! I hope this suggestion was useful for you :)
Sneasel @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
