ORAS OU THE IQ MASTER ORAS OU TEAM RMT ( First One)

Hi I am Gamingfanclub I am an Ou and Ubers Player who's been around on showdown since 2013 but decided to only create his smogon forums account last year cause im a scum. I am also known for posting as a stranger on tesung and other popular people's profiles. So today i will be showcasing a team built around Mega Alakazam and this team is called the iq master

So Alakazam is my mega being a great late game cleaner and a fast offensive threat being great vs Hyper Offense all the moves are standard except encore which is to lock bisharp into Sucker Punch.

So Landorus-T is a decent answer to steel types and birds which alakazam struggles with and set up rocks for zam to net some ko's and also checks zard x. It also has u-turn to give momentum and bring alakazam safely.

Raikou creates a second part of the volt turn core again giving momentum and also checking zard y , gengar and improves matchup vs starmie and keldeo.

this was extremely contriversial part of teambuilding as i was thinking about this pat but i went with hoopa unbound to break down defensive cores and stall to give raikou and Mega Alakazam a chance to cleanup.
In other words a wallbreaker something that Alakazam appreciates.

A hard decison here actually i'm thinking about this one too anyway keldeo is here as a soft water resist and a bisharp and dark check to patch up that bisharp weakness i could use scarf to improve my matchup vs hyper offense.

is scarf excadrill a reliable scarfer so i still have a reliable win condition and keep up the offensive pressure.this is to replace Skarmory cause its passive.
 
Yo,

Your Water resist is Keldeo, and as such, you lose fairly quickly to rain, and Azu. I'm going to try and tweak this team to keep the 'Volt-Turn into hard hitters' idea going, but also better some of your worser matchups.

Firstly, swap Raikou for Ferrothorn. Ferro gives you a solid water resist, as well as Spikes, and Leech Seed support which really help wearing down opposing teams when combined with Volt-Turn, and the constant need to switch, to avoid hard hitters like Hoopa-U.

Next, change your Landorus set to Rocky Helmet + Swords Dance > Leftovers U-Turn, and change the spread to 248 HP / 244 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe as that is a more optimised spread. Swords Dance defensive Landorus helps keep pressure on balance teams, and also allows Landorus to check Talonflame, even after it's been burned.

After that, you needed a switchin to Serp, Venusaur, so I changed Skarmory to Tornadus-T with HP Ice. Torn-T provides a good Grass check, and also fits in your Volt-Turn idea. HP Ice is good to lure Gliscor, and Tank Garchomp, and works well on this build imo.

Lastly, Stallbreaker Heatran works nicely over Keldeo. Heatran is still a hard hitter, but also checks Volc, Zard Y, and Torn-T for your team.

So an interesting choice indeed now before i was struggling to finda water resist and a fairy switchin. Well i wanted one so i got one now this does kill a ton momentum which SUCKS so play a bit aggresively.Though spore somewhat mitigates that.So use this to check water , electric and fairy types. Examples being raikou, keldeo and mega altaria.

So hoopa is wallbreaker which Alakazam appreciates so it can clean up. Also destroys bulky psychic types like mew which Alakazam struggles with.Breakes down defensive cores and also destroys fairies.

A really contreversial part of the build as well this is used as a spinner and revenge killer for talonflame which is nice. Also soft checking latis and Dragons. As well as fairies. Though this also kills momentum due a fairly exploitable ground locked move and cant switch in to anything too reliably. So i might consider bringing skarmory back to the team to switch in better to dragons as well as a defogger. I can also toxic sp def talon if in emergency situation.

now keldeo is the check to dark types i need on this team to mitigate the bisharp weakness and to destroy bulky grounds for excadrill to late game clean up. If i do agree on using a skarmoy or any non scarfer to replace excadrill then i am using scarf keldeo to improve matchup vs Hyper Offense.
Threatlist
Zard-Y a huge threat no switchins. Could chane drill to heatran to somewhat mitigate this issue
Mega Pinsir huge threat at +2
Mega Medicham another big threat with no switchins
Kyurem-B and other wallbreakers are just annoying although the offensive nature of this team can kinda stop them.
Mega Lopunny is annoying cause its fast and hard to switch in to.
Mega Metagross is hard to also switch into
Mega Diancie is just annoying but can be dealt with.

So here is the new version liking it alot though changes can still be made thanks and feedback is always what I want.
