Monotype The itsy bitsy spider (Water Type Mono)

Climbed up the water spout. Down came the rain, and well, the damn little critter adapted.

Hello Monotypers and team raters! This will be my first post actual post! I am Zodiacs, known by many, liked by few, hated by more. I am a sarcastic memer who usually tends to stay quiet in the rooms, who feels like they suck, and proved it by never being able to actually get past 1300 on the ladder! Anyway- the team.

I started with this beautiful sea creature, one of my favorite Pokemon to ever exist, who then mega evolves into a behemoth of a monster, a legendary sweeper that takes names and kicks ass. I knew from the start I wanted this God on the team.

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance

Just your standard MGyara set here. Nothing special about it. I used to run ice fang over crunch for things like MVenu and Dragonite/other dragons, but I swapped it out and it seems to be doing me good.

Next up,

I wanted some support for the Gyara.

Araquanid @ Focus Sash
Ability: Water Bubble
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Sticky Web
- Liquidation
- Leech Life
- Toxic

Webs really helps, and toxic for the memes. Liquidation and Leechlife are for random damage incase I need them. The sash I have on Araq ensures I get Webs up, and every mon that has magic bounce is really weak to both stabs.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Damp
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

While I had Webs, I decided an electric absorber that can set up more hazards would be cool. Swamper is a pretty cool mon that seems to fit well with the team. He handles things well and feels like a good mon to have.

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Haze
- Toxic
- Scald
- Recover

Slowbro @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Flamethrower
- Slack Off

I wanted a dual regen core for my team to switch into a lot. They serve the team well as both a wall for setup sweepers, and burn foes down with their combos of scald and flamethrower, aswell as psyshock for coverage.

Azumarill @ Normalium Z
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Belly Drum
- Knock Off
- Superpower

Lastly, i thought I would need something to kill steels, and add a lil priority to my team, incase all else fails. I considered Greninja, but having two water darks and no dragon resists was kinda scary, so i picked up this little bubble monster. Azumarill works wonders on the team, able to kill some mons that wouldnt otherwise have been killed by other mons on the team.

Here's the team in export/import:

Araquanid @ Focus Sash
Ability: Water Bubble
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Sticky Web
- Liquidation
- Leech Life
- Toxic

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite

Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet

Toxapex @ Black Sludge

- Scald
- Psyshock

- Slack Off

Swampert @ Leftovers

I have a few suggestions for the team
gyarados-mega.gif

Jolly > Adamant Mega Gyarados
Mega Gyarados should have Jolly nature to outspeed Tapu Koko and Mega Lopunny at +1.

I would also invest speed in Azumarill as I don't see the reason to run HP when you're taking advantage of webs to sweep.

Suicune > Slowbro
For a webs team I'm sure Suicune would be a much better option here as it can take advantage of webs to PP stall more. Outspeeding Scarf Tapu Bulu is really nice. Here's the Suicune set:

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 16 SpD / 240 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Calm Mind
- Protect
- Substitute
You can also use Toxic Spikes over Toxic on Toxapex in order to wear down more bulky teams as well as putting more pressure on Defoggers but its entirely up to you.
Other than that I like the team and I'm glad you enjoy using it!

Yeah. it has a few kinks to work out. for example. Choosing crunch over icefang is hard since i have no other ice moves, and i feel too stally for what im trying to accomplish.
