The King's Menagerie--Rate My Team

Hey guys! I've been playing with my 6th gen team quite a lot lately, and I'm looking to refine it into an unbeatable menace. Mostly, I've been working on finding the right lead, and for the moment I've settled on Tyranturm. Please give me any and all feedback; pull no punches! Thanks!

Lead-"Ozymandias" @ Focus Sash

  • Stealth Rock
  • Dragon Dance
  • Dragon Claw
  • Stone Edge
252 Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
Ability: Strong Jaw
Nature: Adamant

Tyrantrum can hit like a truck and lay down rocks, which is something I was looking for. He competed with Accelgor for a bit, but eventually I finally settled on a moveset featuring Dragon Dance as a surprise sweeper in addition to the ability to lay down rocks. I normally open with DD if the matchup permits; otherwise, I use the Sash to get the hazards down. He can often take down a couple of pokemon if allowed the opportunity to DD once; for this reason, I am considering Rock Head > Stone Edge as well.

Special Sweeper-"Cerberus" @ Houndoominite

  • Fire Blast
  • Solarbeam
  • Dark Pulse
  • Sunny Day
252 Satk/252 Speed/4 Def
Ability: Flash Fire/Solar Power
Nature: Timid

The first of two special sweepers, Houndoom presents matchup problems for opposing Ferrothorns, Aegislashes, and Alakazams. After the mega evolution, he is able to easily take two pokemon with him before he faints. I am not sold on the combination of Sunny Day+Solarbeam, though it does stop Water types from wiping the floor with him. If I were to replace them, I'd probably go with Pursuit+....something else? to make him a mixed sweeper, changing the nature from Timid to +Speed, -SDef. Thoughts on this?

Wall/Wish Passer-"Tsunami" @ Leftovers
Vaporeon,.gif

  • Wish
  • Protect
  • Toxic
  • Surf
252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Modest

The legendary wall from RBY make sits return on my team, and guess what? It's still spectacular. It represents a major turning point for the team, able to take most attacks and keep on coming. It also passes gigantic wishes to the rest of my team, and can revitalize a damaged sweeper with ease. If it comes to it, it makes a great stall pokemon and tends to be able to Toxic things to death with ease, using Surf if the matchup requires. I know that many focus on walling with Vaporeon, but mine packs a bit more punch with max SAtk. I'm not 100% on Toxic+Surf...would Ice Beam+Scald be better? And should I use Hydro Pump over Surf?

Physical Sweeper--"Brutalibré" @ Life Orb
hawlucha_by_theangryaron-d6ongr3.png

  • High Jump Kick
  • Aerial Ace
  • Stone Edge
  • Swords Dance
252 Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
Ability: Limber
Nature: Jolly

Hawlucha is one of my favorite additions that 6th gen brought to the table. This thing looks fantastic and does massive damage to boot. Originally, I wanted to put together a choice set for the guy, but I wasn't able to find 4 moves that were worth it, so I "settled" for Swords Dance. HJK and SE are no brainers, but Aerial Ace was a concession to having a STAB attack that is reliable for finishing. Thoughts here?

Special Sweeper-"Wingnut" @ Choice Specs
noivern_by_akstatic-d68nu6i.png

  • Dragon Pulse
  • Draco Meteor
  • Flamethrower
  • Psychic
252 SAtk/252 Speed/4HP
Ability: Infiltrator
Nature: Timid

Noivern is another special sweeper that can take things on his own. Dragon Pulse is a concession to the Specs just in case he's my last remaining pokemon. Originally, Boomburst took this spot but was found to be underwhelming in testing. This 'mon acts as my Glisgor counter, with Psychic that rip through Substitutes. Flamethrower is there for troublesome ice types and to be boosted by sun.

Wall/Physical Sweeper--"Maken Valborg" WeaKness Policy
aegislash-blade.jpg

  • Sacred Sword
  • Shadow Sneak
  • King's Shield
  • Swords Dance
252 HP/252 Atk/Def
Ability: Stance Change
Nature: Brave

Pretty standard Aegislash set. I went with Brave nature to go behind opposing Adamant Aegislash, absorb while in shield form, and KO after getting the Weakness Policy bonus. This thing is a huge lynchpin for my team, able to switch in to almost anything, garner a bonus from supereffective hits, and go to town with Shadow Sneak.

I look forward to any comments you may have!
