The Latest And Greatest Offensive Team (Undefeated)

The Latest And Greatest Offensive Team!

Well recently I have been putting together a new Offensive team that can utilize having no weakness. I have taken the pokemon that can absoulutely rip through teams and put them all together to make this one team. As well as being a great full-on offensive team it can also work kind of like an anti-stall team as well. The reason being for this is that stall teams really only focus on setting up there spikes and then trying to use pokemon with good defences to try and stall my pokemon to death. However, as they are only concentrating on setting up thier spikes I can start to get my pokemon stats up effectively and the start absoulutley plowing through thier defences making an opposing stall team not as effective as it usually would be againt the standard Offencive team. Well thats enough talk from me for now. Enjoy reading the team.

Azelf@Focus Sash
Trait: Levitate
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SP. ATK / 252 SPD
Nature: Naive
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- Explosion

Red is the first color of the rainbow and Azelf is the first pokemon in my team. Red also certifies courage and strength which suits Azelf well. Azelf is the best way to start a game off with a bang. Gengar leads are no longer around thses days only very rarely so Psychic isn't really needed and can be replaced nicely by Grass Knot as Hippodon and Tyranitar leads are much more common these days. Fire Blast is there for coverege and so Azelf doesn't get hit by a bug type. Stealth Rock is mainly the priority move and is usually used first. Although it may vary depending on the opposing pokemon. When it doubt explosion is there and ready to go.
dpmba485.png

Heatran@Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SP. ATK / 252 SPD
Nature: Modest
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [ICE]
- Explosion

Orange is the second color in the rainbow and it suits my second pokemon very well. Modest is now a viable option due to Skymin finally being banned on the ladder so there shouldn't be anymore Timid Scarftrans around. Although Heatran works best when he works with Celibi he can still be brought out sometimes before Celibi if I am having troubles with SDzor. Fire Blast is the main attack here but Earth Power and Hidden Power Ice works well with it too. Explosion is always there to finish up the opponent as a last resource and final bid.

dpmba373.png

Salamence@Charti Berry Trait: Intimidate EV's: 4 HP / 252 ATK / 252 SPD Nature: Adamant - Dragon Dance - Fire Fang - Earthquake - Outrage
Yellow, the third color in the rainbow which suits Salamences ability to really shine in a game. DDmence is a great threat in todays metagame and can do exceptionally well. If Heatran is facing another Heatran its obviously going to use Earth Power so now would be the vital time so switch in Salamence. If it is Scarfed or Speced I am in luck as he will have to switch out and I will get a free Dragon Dance out of it. If the Heatran doesn't have a Choice item on it a fire type move itsn't gonna do much to Salamence anyways which will still guarantee me a free Dragon Dance. Suprisingly today rock type attacks are so much more common these days and it really gets me when I face something with a rock type say Stone Edge for instance and it nails down Salamence. So in place of Yache Berry I have Replaced it with a Charti Berry.
dpmba251.png
Celebi@Leftovers Trait: Natural Cure EV's: Nature: Calm Mind Grass Knot Recover Baton Pass
Green is the fourth color of the rainbow and can stand for nature so what better pokemon to represent this color then Celebi! This set is unexpected which can really suprise the opponenet as sadly this set is hardly ever used. But here it is used to the teams advantage. Anyways if you send this out at the right time you are sure to get some Calm Minds in here. Once you have finished CMing up you can Batton Pass them all to Heatran when you know you are safe to just deliver Fire Blasts to the opposing team and even finish them off. If Azelf is still alove and healthy by this time and you want something with abit more typing range then Azelf is a fine option too. Recover to help Celebi out when in tight spots and Grass Knot for STAB as you could also just CM up and do what you can with Celebi as it is all completely optional.

dpmba260.png

Swampert@Rindo Berry
Trait:
EV's:
Nature: Relaxed
Curse
Waterfall
Sleep Talk
Rest

Blue, the fifth color to the rainbow. Swampert is the king of physical water types so it couldn't suit him any better. Curse is absoulutely great on Swampert and he works very well with it. You may be wondering what the heck has it only got 1 attack on it for and then Sleep Talk only giving it a 33.3 % chance of using an attacking move while asleep. While the reason is that he makes a great status abosorber and then has the option of Cursing up while alseep and then landing hits while he is still asleep. You then may think well what if he opposes a Vaporeon, well the answer is this; Earthquake does nothing to Vaporeon and neither does Ice Punch and any other physical moves on Swampert. Vaporeon outclasses Swampert and thats nothing new but then of coarse it works both ways as Vaporeon can't do much to a Cursepert either. Rindo Berry is very unexpected and covers his Grass weakness leaving the opponent suprised. The most effective way that it can be utilised is with a Mixape who uses grass knot who is then OHKOed by Swampert thanks to the Rindo Berry making Swampert a fine Mixape Counter.

Scizor@Choice Band
Trait: Technician
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 4 HP / 252 ATK / 252 SPD
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U Turn

Violet is the final color of the rainbow and Scizor is the final pokemon to the team. Scizor is often brough out as the final pokemon as his Bullet Punch hits very hard with STAB, Technician and Choice Band. The way I see it is that Scizor is a great way to just clean up at the end of the game and leave your opponent down for the count. Although Bullet Punch may be the main attack here Pursuit can help me out with some Psychic and Ghost types as Scizor is still pretty fast. U Turn gets rid of Cresselia and Superpower is always there if I need it. Basically Scizor just finishes up the game at the end.

Well thats the team. It is currently undefeated which goes to show if you use it well it is a very stong team. I hope you enjoyed it, Feel free to steal it, use it, win with it etc. etc.

Also please be sure to post your feedback and what you thought of it.

Much Appreciated

Nice team, but for azelf, I would really run taunt/psychic/SR/explosion with the same EVs and nature, it just works better for the current metagame.

Also, the yellow is kind of hard to read w/o highlighting :(

You say that while stall teams set up their entry hazards you can simply set up and plow through the team. But what's stopping them from phazing you out as you set up your sweepers? Most stall teams run 1 or 2 phazers.

What are your Evs for Swampert? I think that if you're running an offensive team(like I am), I think that you should change Celebi to an offensive set, as Calm Mind and Baton Pass seems to slow you down a bit too much.

Run Fire Blast over fire fang and give salamence life orb. Fire blast hits harder than fire fang and can run through fortress and skarmory

Give Azelf taunt, a simple rain dance suicide lead will ruin your team, and Ludicolo will ruin the entire team.

Also advice t-wave on Celebi, if you want o be extra safe with Ludicolo

I'm with Rahi- you're going to be using fire on skarm and special does more. Although i enjoy going with leftovers.

Are you sure a 200 sp. def. and good hp poke like regiice is OHKO'ed by heatran? oh well, you'll never see one.

Trick room will cause you problems- Rotom too. Perhaps a hypnogengar somewhere would benefit you.

i also agree with rahi, give salamence Life orb, i believe 50%+ of heatran are scarfed these days, so like you said you can switch in your salamence and get a free DD, with Life Orb salamence is at x1.95 while with charti berry you are only at 1.5, Life Orb basically gives you an extra DD which can be crucial for picking up KOs, if you want to have a berry than yache berry would be a better option, salamence has intimidate so unless there is a STAB stone edge, salamence can usually survive the rock attack, whereas salamence will rarely survive nonSTAB ice attacks, yache berry allows it to set up on things like starmie and an offensive set with Grass Knot, Surf, Thunderbolt, and ice beam hits 4/6 Supereffectively, azelf will also probably exploded by than too and cant take repeated surfs

First of all I would like to thank TAY for not writing Salamence / Celebi in Yellow / Green. Speaking of Salamence I would recommend giving it a life Orb, Fire Blast / Flamethrower and a Naughty Nature. This will let you OHKO skarmory, fire fang won't do enough even with a DD. Life Orb will help you get more KO's and it will probably be more useful than Charti Berry, but if you want a berry, yache is better.

Celebi can't really utlise baton passing Calm Minds on this team, Heatran is the only recipient and he is choiced so that is bad. I'd suggest changing Calm Mind into Swords Dance and giving it Seed Bomb. Then you can pass to Scizor and Salamence.

Rindo Berry is bad on Swampert. The only pokes that will be using Grass atacks usually is grass pokemon and you cant even hurt them with waterfall as your sole attack, change it to lefties.

Your threat list is misleading, sure your pokemon can beat them, but what if breloom comes in on something like swampert? Then Heatran and Salamence are NOT counters as they are KOed when breloom is behind a sub. (although celebi can beat it but that irrelevant as your threat list assumes they come in on the pokemon that counters it.)

Regice isnt OHKOed by Heatran just for interests sake.

Is this even an offensive team with 2 Walls (Celebi and Swampert). I'd recommend giving them more offensive sets (Life orb celebi and CB swampert maybe)?

Swampert:

Just took a gander @ that Swampert. If you're going to run it with Rest + Sleep Talk, I don't think Relaxed nature is a viable nature if it's going to be using Curse because you also want to take some special attacks as well so Careful is probably the best nature at the moment on that RestTalk set.

You can also add about 216 SpDef on him because he can take on some good SpAtk like a champ. Dumb all 252 in HP and maybe the rest in Defense, as much as you desire. With that much SpDef, Swampert will survive up to three Shadow Balls from Gengar and can eat them with Rest, even though your team almost covers Gengar overall but Swampert does exceptionally well against him.

Scizor: I like the Scizor, but I like to see it U-turning on Magnezones with a Jolly nature. It will lose small amount of power, but CB still destroys a lot of Pokemon and U-turn also KO's the bulky set Celebi's that hardly has speed EVs. Jolly Scizor is an off guarder and can really creak in some huge incredible dents on your opponents team.

Other wise, the team is overall good.
