"Did you ever hear of the Legends?"

"What Legends?"

"Of Pokemon so rare, so powerful, that their very existence is debated even amongst Pokemon researchers."

"Oh, those legends. What of it?"

"They say there is a cove with a rare Pokemon in it. The Pokemon around there aren't particularly strong, and the place itself has been checked time and time again. But people still insist there's a legend there. But it can only be found if you can hear its voice."

"Sounds like a fairy tale. Lay off the whisky."

"Whatever you say. I'm heading over there to check it out."

There is a cove hidden deep in a forest that beckons those few chosen ones who seek the legends. In order to get there you will have to cross several kinds of treacherous terrain, but this may be your first chance to get a taste of adventure. A mysterious man meets you at the entrance, signaling you forward. Oddly, it seems like you're the only one who can see them. You ignore the jests of your friends and follow him. You think you've heard him speak before, but you can't quite remember what his voice sounds like. It strikes you as odd, but you head towards the Mysterious Cove anyway.

You leave the forest and come to the mouth of the cove. It appears to be low tide, as two rock paths barely sticking up out of the water are the only way in. Their winding nature makes them look like long whiskers. Looking closely at the water, you can tell it is slightly illuminated, though you don't know why. In any case, it looks like you won't be able to cross without some resistance.

A voice speaks: "Welcome to a nest. What these Pokemon lack in strength they make up for in numbers. Plan carefully." You wonder where this voice emanates from, but it would be better to think about the situation at hand.

Once you pass the Maw, you enter the cave, filled with many natural features. A slow but quite high waterfall flows here, and you can see a King's Rock up at the top of it. At various points along the waterfall you can see some Slowpoke. Seems like they're all trying to race to get the rock... but you might be able to grab it.

You watch the scene bemused, and see one of the Slowpoke finally reach the King's Rock, as it begins to glow a bright white. you know if this were one of my tlrs it would then proceed to pursue you like some fat version of Nemesis, but we can't have everything :|

Shallow Cave

You find a large underground cave that appears to be a dead end. The area's rocky surface drops into what appears to be a very shallow lake, insufficient for swimming. You turn to your guide, who disappears in a flash of light. The guide's form is gone, but you hear another voice.

"You have been chosen to undergo the test. I hope you have prepared well - the Guardians of this cove are a crafty duo. Do not think mere force alone will be sufficient. They will wait calmly and exploit any flaws in your strategy. Pass this trial, and have a chance at something truly amazing (lies)."

  • Only Rain has the raw materials to be summoned. All other weathers are not allowed. Because of course people will use RAIN with METANG. it has like Meteor Water Pistol, right? -_-
  • Water source available.
  • Neither Dig nor Dive can be used.

i get only slightly salty when reffing awful mons ^_^

I believe you noted the effects of Nightmare incorrectly in the Calculations. It is -4 HP and -2 EN per action. Given this, your calculations for the HP of Eelektrik would be correct at 48.
However, you failed to deduct the EN from Eelektrik due to Nightmare which would have it at 52 EN at the moment. Also Zap Cannon after STAB EN Reduction is actually 8 EN, not 7 EN, which would have Eelektrik at 51 EN.
If the above is incorrect I would like a reorder because then this would ultimately fuck my shit up


Side Note: Gravity needs to remove either the 1 stage Evasion drop part or the 1.67x Accuracy part in its description, because the former makes Zap Cannon need an accuracy check here, and the latter makes the accuracy beyond perfect.

I really want to stall more, but an opportunity this perfect rarely shows up

You know on normal circunstances I would deny that reorder. But since I screwed up with nightmare, then I suppose oh well.

You forgot grassy terrain. Due to gravity, eelektrik becomes grounded and gets the +2hp, reaching 50hp. Which probably fucks up your calcs.
