ENCHANTED MEADOW

Enchanted Meadow. It is a beautiful rolling plains in Kalos, covered in a mix of flowers and grass. It is hard to believe that such a peaceful place could hold a great secret, but the locals have sworn that they have seen a very oddly coloured Floette recently arrive in the area. With it, a large number of Pokémon have made their home in the meadow. Locals also report that in the middle of the night, large beams of light have been striking the sky. You are not too convinced that this is anything more than a shiny Floette, but it would probably be a relaxing exploration. So you decide to have a look on the behalf of the villagers... (GP 1/2)

I found Richard waiting at the Castelia International Airport for me. I had bought tickets for the both of us, since he had apparently fallen on hard times recently.

"Blast it where is that nut. He should've been here by now!"

*Soaking Wet* "Gah, sorry I'm late, got held up at Security. Who knew being soaked with saltwater would look suspicious."

"Woah...what happened?"

"Challenged the Electric Gym...Ever been thrown out of a ship via catapult and then had to swim to shore while being chased by Sharpedo looking for a snack? All the while the gym leader laughs at your misfortune and says 'You shouldn't have mentioned internet sheep to me buster!' grinning the whole time?"

"...Dare I ask? Can ASB leaders even do that?"

"Not sure...but I know once I get to Kalos I'm sending the administrators a very angry email. At any rate did you get a new flight for us?"

"Lucky for you, the plane's delayed. That said I think I hear them boarding now, let's move it!"

We boarded the plane, and took the flight to Kalos. On the way there I talked with him a bit.

"So...how's the Private Investigator gig going?"

"Not too well unfortunately...with high tech security cameras and such my line of work is getting thinner and thinner. At this rate I think I'll be out of a job..."

"Nuts...say I could probably get you a job over at ASB if you like. I happen to have a mild amount of influence there. Could probably give you a Janitorial job or the like until you find a better paying one."

"Thanks but no thanks. I already have plans for a new job. It's certain to pay very very well!"

"By the way, how did you lose to Harold? I know he has an impressive number of wins but come on, that kind of win-loss ratio is crazy."

"ASB gyms are a league ahead of normal gyms. Still, I mostly lost to that thrice cursed Ion Deluge. Why the bigwigs decided to make that move legal in competitive AND ASB is beyond me. All it does is counter Normal types! That's the only thing it does, and it infuriates me to no end!"

"I see, what a shame."

We made some more small talk for a couple of hours, then slept the rest of the way to Kalos. I was a bit slumped getting off, but after a restful night in a hotel in Lumiose City, we met up again. Apparently this meadow was quite some distance away from the city...or really any part of civilization except a village or two that created the rumor.

"Ah you're here. According to the locals this path will lead us to where the light was seen from. You all ready?"

"Am I? I've only brought the best Normal Pokemon this side of the world. Come on out you three! Let's take this dungeon down!"

"All right, the both of us are ready. You sure you'll be all right Skye?"

"Yep!"

"Ah yes, another area to add to my domain!"

Of Mice and Mischief

The path weaves it's way around, traversing the meadow easily. There's many types of flowers, a wide variety of colours. You're quite surprised when out of some particularly tall yellow flowers a Dedenne pops out! You're only a little more surprised when the Dedenne managed to tackle Kangaskhan, and begins to Charge power in an ominous manner. You've no clue how something as physically weak as Dedenne managed to take Kangaskhan that far away from you either...

Arena - Berry Bushes

A densely packed area of bushes, it seems impossible to move without managing to find a new berry. It's probably a good thing that these bushes are lacking in thorns though.

• Pokemon with Cheek Pouch can swap a Berry they are holding for a new one at the start of a round when their controller orders first.
• When the Berry of a Pokemon with Pickup is consumed or destroyed, the berry is recycled at the end of the round.
• Natural Gift is a Special Attack

You could sacrifice some of your medical supplies to help the poor thing... that said, part of you sees that the Wiki Berries will itself be useful down the line...

Performance Grotto

Ahead of you, you notice some sort of elegant display going on. A Kirlia dances for a small crowd whilst a Tropius rhythmically stomps the ground to create a beat, and interested, you head down towards the performance. However, your presence in the area seems to have dispersed the crowd, and the two performers are currently both giving you an angry glare, before they start throwing attacks at you - not your team, but you. Your mons move to protect you, but it seems like you need to patch your wounds up first.

Due to some confirmations on IRC, I'm using this post to make some quick notes:

Pokeballs and Berries share the same infinite bag. Apparently. If you don't wish to use the Wiki Berry now, then I can edit that.

In addition, Mega-Kanga would've reverted to normality outside of the battle. This means it takes a massive extra 2 points of damage vs Icy Wind. I'm now updating, if you wish to modify your usage of the Wiki Berry say so soon =)

Barren Stone

In these lush fields you're surprised to find a barren patch. It seems to surround a small stone, however as you get close to the stone a pink blob manages to cut you off, knocking you back before teleporting away with some sort of Cosmic Power. However, it seems like the blob managed to teleport Kirlia away with it as well, and is currently getting Worked Up over the fact that it's having to deal with intruders.
