Hello, and welcome to the "MARCU5theBAW5 Experience". Are you experienced? If you aren't, this is the place to be. After hearing my boy Marcufive complain one too many times about not being in the shoutouts of NU RMT's, I decided to make an RMT revolving directly around him.

So this team is relatively simple, and yet not very standard. MARCU5 told me to use /randpoke, NU|PU, which is how I got Gorebyss. Gorebyss is quite the interesting Mon, with a lot less usage after the new BP Clause (R.I.P. Shell Pass). Today it has dropped to PU, that tier NU likes to steal from, and not give anything to, just like a bully taking your lunch money every Wednesday.
I decided to run a rain team, because who doesn't like taking advantage of Swift Swim?
368.png

First off we've got Gorebyss. I ran Shell Smash, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, and HP Grass. Water/Ice/Grass is basically the best offensive coverage in the game, rivaled only by Normal/Fighting/(Ghost/Dark). Pretty great coverage right there, and pretty standard, just like a bad reader in the ghetto.
141.png

Next off we have Kabutops. All pretty standard stuff. I went with Swords Dance as the fourth move just because my other set up sweeper, Gorebyss, is pretty frail, so it's nice to have two capable Mons, just like how it's nice to have two chopsticks, as opposed to one.
417.png

The next Mon is pretty heat, with Se Jun Spark himself. Pachirisu does a lot of things right, and very little wrong, asides from being an unviable Mon. With Electric immunity, and Nuzzle, Pachirisu was sure to be a hindrance to the opposing team. Super Fang helped chunk down tanks, and Volt Switch is really nice to play off of your opponents forced plays.
226.png

Mantine is a really fun Pokemon to use. It is not as good as it could be with it's 4x weakness, and with no recovery outside of Rest, but it still is a great Mon. I ran a very unmeta set, with Mud Slap. Mud Slap is a terrible move that I am surprised I don't see more often on low ladder, probably because most of the kinds of players that would run Mud Slap are either afraid of Smogon Verlisify, or think that it's illegal according to Evasion Clause looking at you players that are 0-35. Mud Slap is a pretty cool move regardless of all that, and there isn't too much else to say about it, really. Unless of course we are going to bring up mud-wrestling...
510.png

Liepard is a must on any weather team (asides from Sand, and Hail, which aren't real weathers.) It's Focus Sash, and should be Damp Rock, but I am bad, and all my replays have Focus Sash, so that's what's listed. Adamant because an extra 4% damage on Knock Off is nice I guess.
303.png

Mawile is like, a defensive tank. But it can also be used offensively. And really, it's not that tanky. We all know that defensive Mawile is a thing though, and at this point, I needed a defensive tank. Enter, Mawile.
Mawile's should all be girls because Mawile is based off of the futakuchi-onna, or two mouthed woman. The kanji for it is 二口女. The first one is two, the second one mouth, and the third kanji is woman. The futakuchi-onna is a yokai, or Japanese monster, and it is very disturbing. It basically comes from the stereotype of woman not eating enough. The most common way sourced to create a futakuchi-onna is something along the lines of a step-mom not giving her step-children enough food to live, and giving everyone else enough food to live. Then she becomes a futakuchi-onna. This is because the step-children die, and their spirits go into the woman's head, and create an extra mouth. This mouth will eat all the food the woman wants to eat, and will basically force her to starve. If she doesn't feed it, it will create extremely noisy screams, and cause her physical pain. It has an extremely huge appetite, and always wants more food. Moral of the story, child abuse is bad.
As I was originally saying, all Mawile's should be girls, but MARCU5 has a weird brother.

yo nice team but I gotta a few changes to help improve it
-----------------Threats-----------------
I actually dont see much threats to this team apart from

Sawk
539.png
Banded Sawk is a huge threat as it can OHKO all your team.

----------------How to solve it-------------

To patch up your weakness against sawk may I suggest Scyther > Pachirisu
123.png

Pachirisu isn't viable at all in NU. I Understand the fact that you need an electric resist but pachirisu just helps you to get more destroyed by it. Scyther can easily switch in to anything apart from a knock off/ice punch even if it does it can just manage to kill it with aerial ace as it outspeeds (unless scarf but damage wont be as much).
Despite the fact Ice punch 2HKOS (with band) this thing aerial ace can still defeat it. (also it gets roost)

-----------------Relevant Calcs------------

252+ Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Sawk Ice Punch vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Scyther: 212-250 (61.8 - 72.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

8 Atk Technician Scyther Aerial Ace vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Sawk: 270-318 (92.4 - 108.9%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Sawk Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Scyther: 136-161 (39.6 - 46.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

---------------------Other----------------

Mesprit > Mawile
481.png

----------------Reason-------------------

Both of them play a similar role both get access to rain dance and rocks but mespirit has better all around defences allowing it to live more things. Although mawile has a better ability and typing mespirit is certainly the better choice.

------------------Last Change-----------

Ludicolo > Mantine
272.png

-------------------Reason-------------

Both are good rain sweepers imo but ludicolo has a better typing and doesn't take much from rocks. Its unique grass/water typing allows it to take on bulky water types that wall rain teams such as lanturn. Also its a wayy better rain sweeper.

---------Small Change------

Rapid Spin > Knock off on kabutops | This gives your team some hazard control.

----------Sets!---------
