SV OU The Mex

The Mex. Skamories and Corviknights beware, because your worst fear is back from the depths (of RU): Choice Specs Magnezone Magnet Pull.

The Mag probably made more sense, but it's been called the Mex for quite a couple of months now so I'm not going to change it.

Mag has been given some speed EVs to outspeed no investment Corviknights, which is what most run. It doesn't matter that it can't outspeed Skarmories with 96 Spe EVs because they can't run anyway since no U-turn. Volt switch should kill all steel birds in 1 shot at 100%, assuming no SpD investment. It also kinda handles handles SlowkingG so long as it does not have flamethrower, because it resists/is immune to both stabs and can deal good damage with a T-Bolt/Flash cannon and is immune to T-wave.
The Pex is just sitting there and presses mostly toxic or haze on sweepers. A lot of current sweepers have no good way of dealing with this, so this allows you to survive setups that were done too early, excluding some powerful earthquake sweepers. It used to be tera steel so it kept its poison and fairy resistance, but I never used that and had more trouble with T-bolt and EQ, so looking at the type chart suggested tera grass instead. Not a great defensive option, but it is should only be used if a DDed Roaring Moon is about to woop your ass anyway.
Iron Valiant is the staple "I needed a strong sweeper in gen 9 mon", with tera dark for resists+boosted knock-off damage. Also known as the mon who gets to sweep after the gimmick shitmon is sacked.
Samurott-H is there just to be annoying and setup spikes+threaten Gholdengo, with a scarf so it can outspeed some mons weak to Fighting that don't expect it.
Technically this team already has a defensive mon, but corviknight is also there for hazard removal and being fat. And also pivoting I guess. Do not keep it in on sweepers though, even if it is week to body press, it will probably tera and corviknight will allow it to go to +6 if you don't switch.
Lastly, there is the Freddy Fazbear who is not that great, but if used correctly, it can get at least 1 kill every match, and threaten many more. He is surprisingly bulky and can even live a Rotom Wash Hydro pump if you really hate that guy and wanna kill him.
Admittedly, this team was made a while ago, but the only new threat it doesn't do well with is Roaring Moon, since after corviknight doesn't threaten it and everyone else simply dies.

I was planning on just dumping this team somewhere on this forum, but I noticed that this place existed, so I guess if I can learn more about the meta this way I can do that too. If you think this team is ass, please keep in mind that I was blindfolded while making it and also I was using a slime controller and also it was actually my little brother who made it.

Edit: How do I add those fancy pokemon sprites?
Edit 2: Nvm found it

Hi there I had a question what type of team style are you going for before I rate? Additionally who is the star Pokémon? From my view it seems you want bulky offense.

The star of the show is supposed to be Magnezone, meaning I tried to built around him. I honestly have no idea what the criteria are for bulky offense, if bulky means there are bulky pokemon who do offense then yes it is bulky offense, but corviknight and toxapex aren't very offensive and iron valiant isn't very bulky so maybe it is balanced? The idea anyway is offensive core+defensive backbone

This is pretty much the definition of balance.
For a more detailed explanation, think of it as more of how your strategy works instead of what pokemon you have. If you like being able to switch in defensive answers, tank hits, heal up, wall a little, and then hit with your offence later, that is balance.
If you prefer to just tank some hits here or there and answer back with your own hard hitters, that is bulky offence.
If you prefer to blast away with your offensive pokemon and use careful switching and prediction to sweep your opponent before they can sweep you, that is more pure offence.
And if you want to do that with a suicide lead that would be hyper offence.

Ah thanks. When you explain it like that, I see that the way I play with the team is indeed balance, not bulky offense. Toxapex can definitely be described as a mon who tanks hits, heals up and walls a little (with a little toxic on the side).
