Introduction
Go go Ubers! Modern Ubers? Basically, all of my team but one member is from 4th and 5th Gen! Anyways, I have always loved the Ubers tier. It is all about power and coverage, and also strategy plays a big role here. Unfortunately, I do not think myself as a player who uses hazards, as most of the time I would go for an attack move rather than the ever present Stealth Rock. Similarly, I do not like to use Rapid Spin, because I cannot really find the most appropiate time to use it, eventhough I know both hazards and spin support is always useful and helpful. And with that in mind, I made this team. I really like how it works, because each member has the chance of becoming the "hero" of the match, by performing a late-game sweep. However, as most teams, mine has some exploitable weaknesses that I really hate facing. Also, with the introduction of BW2, there were new threats to the Ubers environment, such as Tornadus-T, Soul Dew, Genesect, Kyurem Formes, among others. That is why I have been trying to try new Pokemon sets out, and this team is what I got:
Under the Microscope
Shaymin-S @ Choice Scarf

Kyurem-W @ Choice Specs
Trait: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
-Fusion Flare
-Earth Power
-Ice Beam
-Draco Meteor
General Comments
I originally had Choice Specs Reshiram on this slot, but Kyurem-W is 5 points faster, and 20 points more deadly. It may lack the Fire-type STAB, but Ice STAB, and 170 base SAtk is just way better. Ice Beam and Draco Meteor, are STABs that will obliterate pretty much everything that switches in. Fusion Flare is used when there is no rain, and Earth Power is used against most grounded Steel type Pokemon. When Genesect took over the title of Scizor as the "best dual bug/steel type" one is not concerned about Bullet Punch anymore.
EV's and Item Explanation
*If Choice Specs Reshiram was scary, Specs Kyurem-W is even worse. I needed something to hit hard, and reliably, so I chose Kyurem. Unfortunately, it is weak to hazards and I do not have a spinner, so it will be needing to hit hard during the short ammount of time it might be on the field. That is why I chose the Specs, as it will be taking out a couple Pokemon before going out.
*EV's are also self explanatory. Max Spd and SAtk, will allow to hit hard, and "fast". I do not think that a Choice-less or Scarf Kyurem will help without Spin support, so this is pretty much the standard EV's required for a Choice Specs user.
Conclusion
Well, this was my team. I have been using for a long time now, and I have been succesful most of the time, winning some tournaments on both PS and PO. But I still feel that there is a little something I can do to improve it, so that is why I decided to show it here on RMT. Hopefully, you will have some constructive ideas on how to improve it and make it to the 1st place on the ladder (I've actually got to the 100 best on both PS and PO). Thanks for taking your time to reading through it, and if you want to try it out, here it is the importable:

Oh, Skymin. This is my answer to all those faster threats out there, and my usual lead. Its moveset and spread should be fairly easy to understand. Seed Flare and Air Slash are its mandatory STAB moves. With Serene Grace, Seed Flare has a 67% chance of lowering the opponent's Sp. Def, and Air Slash has that sexy 60% chance of flinching. This is especially useful for some leads such as Darkrai, and Deoxys-S or A, as they won't be able to make their move, and they will be easily 2OHKO'd by Air Slash. In general, it is not a good idea to rely on hax to beat someone, but Skymin is stupidly good at annoying the opponent, and it also gives me momentum when the opponent is at -2 Sp. Def. Earth Power is there to hit predicted switch to Dialga, Jirachi or Zekrom mainly, as Air Slash already deals with Ferrothorn and Forretress. HP [Ice] is used to deal with DD Rayquaza lacking ExtremeSpeed, or just any other Ice-type weak Pokemon.
EV's and Item Explanation
*Max SAtk is needed to score the KO or 2HKO on some key threats, namely Darkrai, Mewtwo, Deoxys-A/S, Opposing Skymin, Kyogre, Groudon.
*252 Speed Ev's will let me outspeed every unboosted Scarf Pokemon, bar Timid Choice Scarf Darkrai, but that's a rare sight in Ubers, and even if he got to Dark Void me, I would know how to play around it, as I know it is Timid Scarfed.
*I prefer the Choice Scarf set over the Seeder, Specs or Life Orb, just because I need a lead and a revenge killer, and Skymin can act as both most of time. And when faster threats have been annihilated, I can always use it as fodder.

Arceus-Ghost @ Spooky Plate
Trait: Multitype
EVs: 132 Def / 252 SAtk / 124 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Judgment
- Focus Blast
- Recover
Comment
Arceus, Ghost Type Form. One of the best things it can do is to be able to have perfect coverage with just 2 moves, Ghost-type Judgement and the unreliable Focus Blast. It is also my main answer against the ExtremeKiller Arceus. Ghost Arceus is bulky enough to set up at least one CM, and then proceed to obliterate the opponent with the coverage, unless Focus Blast does what it likes to do the best: Miss. Recover is there to be able to accumulate more CM boosts. It is also used to beat the great Ubers walls known as Giratina, Lugia, and now Latias with Soul Dew. It can even OHKO Ferrothorn, with Focus Blast, so that is a plus. However, I need to be able to play around Lugia, a sit is often faster than my Arceus and can then proceed to SubToxic stall it to dead.
EV's and Item Explanation
*132 EV's on defense, will allow me to set up on the likes of Zekrom and Support Groudon lacking Toxic without fear. It is also used to be able to sometimes survive the +2 Shadow Claw used by ExtremeKiller.
*Max Sp. Atk, will allow me to OHKO or 2HKO Lugia, Giratina and Mewtwo even without any boosts aswell as Ferrothorn and sometimes Jirachi too.
*Spooky Plate is mandatory for Arceus to change its type, and it also provides a boost to its STAB, which is always welcomed.

Groudon @ Life Orb
Trait: Drought
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Thunder Wave
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Claw
General Comments
Groudon, Groudon, Groudon. I absolutely love this set. It is a mix of Support and Offensive Groudon. You see Life Orb recoil? Of course you think it is offensive and you send your Scarf Rayquaza, or Palkia just to be paralyzed by T-Wave, and remain escencially useless for the rest of the match. You saw T-Wave? You will of course send a defensive Pokemon thinking I won't be able to smash through it, but I will. It is just matter of mind-games with the opponent to go either for a Life Orb-boosted attack, or T-Wave. Earthquake is its mandatory STAB move, and it does over 70% to most Kyogre sets, which is always good because I am most likely to win the weather war. Fire Punch is used to roast alive those annoying Steel type Pokemon that somehow aren't too concerned about EQ, such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Genesect, among others. Most of the time, I will have to predict these incoming Pokemon. Dragon Claw is used against Garchomp, Rayquaza, Palkia, Giratina-O, Arceus-Dragon, and Lati-twins. As said before, T-Wave is used to paralyze Pokemon that can boost their speed, or are scarfed. Moreover, it is always nice to have weather control, with your own weather-inducer.
EV's and Item Explanation
-Max Sp Def will allow me to take an unboosted Ice Beam from Kyogre, and some others special attacks, such as Palkia's Spacial Rend or Support Dialga's Draco Meteor.
-Max Atk is used to increase damage output on most threats, and weaken most of my opponent's team.
-As told before, Life Orb is used to bluff a pure attacker set, and it is always useful to be able to KO certain Pokemon.

Palkia @ Lustrous Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Spacial Rend
- Surf
- Flamethrower
- Thunder
General Comments
Easily, one of the most versatile Pokemon, and also one of the best Kyogre counters. 4x resistance to water is really useful. There are a lot of options for Palkia, but I have decided to run this set, and make it my premier counter to the most used Pokemon in Ubers. Spacial Rend and Surf are mandatory STAB. Thunder is used hit Lugia, Kyogre, Manaphy, the ocassional Kabutops, and Tentacruel on rain. Flamethrower is used over Fire Blast because I HATE missing it when I need it the most. Palkia is carrying the Lustrous Orb, so it can bluff a Scarf or Specs, so if Fire Blast misses, then I will have a hard time against Ferrothorn. So I just tend to use Flamethrower.
EV's and Item Explanation
-As explained before, Lustrous Orb bluffs a Scarf or Specs, so I can gain some momentum and play mind games with the opponent, as I have two scarfers. Lustrous Orb also boosts Palkia's main STAB moves, so under the rain, Surf hits really hard.
- 100 Base Speed is nice to have in Ubers, where the majority of Pokemon are below that number, so max speed is really useful, to outspeed most unboosted and non-scarf Pokemon.
- 252 EVs on SAtk will allow Palkia to hit hard, except for dedicated special walls, and sometimes specially defensive Ferrothorn under the rain.

Zekrom @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Volt Switch
- Bolt Strike
- Outrage
- Draco Meteor
General Comments
Zekrom. I love the offensive momentum it can give, provided I do not use Volt Switch on a ground-type Pokemon. Bolt Strike is used as an STAB, and a Ho-Oh, Lugia and Kyogre murderer. Outrage is used as STAB too, and coming off from 150 base Attack, it will be destroying everything not named Ferrothorn. Draco Meteor? Yes, that will catch most Groudon off-guard, and take a heavy chunk, so I can attack later on with Outrage, or some other Pokemon. Volt Switch, is used to finish off weakned Pokemon or Focus Sash users, and go away from Ferrothorn or another Pokemon that may give Zekrom trouble. Naughty nature is used, to keep Zekrom's natural physical bulk, as most Ice Beam and Draco Meteor kill Zekrom anyways
EV's and Item Explanation
*Again, the EV's are pretty self-explanatory. 252 Spd EVs will allow me to beat most non-scarfed Pokemon. I prefer Max Attack, so I can take out Ho-Oh and Lugia more easily. Also, there has been some situations in which Zekrom is my last Pokemon against 3, which where either weak or neutral to Outrage, so with that extra boost, I was able to take them out, something that with a +Spd Nature would not have been possible.
*I prefer the Choice Scarf, over other sets, because they are stopped cold by Ferrothorn, and Zekrom is not fast enough to set up and attempt to sweep, and it does not have any way to boost its speed. And having a second scarfer is always useful as late game sweeper.
