Hi Smogon, i'm Reigako, and this is my 2nd about the most common team EVER !

Also, as this is my 2nd RMT, i will be using the same layout as the first, so this team may be redundant for the one who seen my first RMT. (The worst part is that there are 4 pokemons here that i already used in the past RMT lol)

The Team

keldeo-resolute.gif

Keldeo
Item :
Choice Specs
choicespecs.png

Ability : Justified
EVs : 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature : Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
IVs : 0 Atk
Hydro Pump
Scald
Secret Sword

Icy Wind > Hidden Power [Electric]

Role in the team : Keldeo was the starting point of the team, since he's one of the most over used pokemons in the tier. He checks a lot of threats, such as Weavile or Landorus-Therian. The pony can also deal large damage with a Choice Specs and his STABs.

Set Details : Not much to say here, it's the standard All-Out Specs Keldeo. I prefer Icy Wind over HP [Electric/Bug], as i can already keep Celebi in check with Scizor/Talonflame (and Hoopa-U got banned), and i already have an Electrik-type attack on Rotom-W, while i don't have any other Ice-type Attack. Changed to HP Electric to help deal with Volcanion and Slowbro.

landorus-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian
Item :
Rocky Helmet
rockyhelmet.png

Ability : Intimidate
EVs : 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Nature : Impish (+Def, -SpA)
Earthquake
Stone Edge
U-turn
Stealth Rock

Role in the team : Defensive Landorus-Therian has a lot of assets that makes him great in like ... every kind of team. And this one makes no exception. Lando helps me to setup SR reliably, check Excadrills and Talons (still fears WoW variants however), and can bring momentum with U-turn.

Set Details : Standard Defensive Landorus-Therian nearly always runs this spread, as it allows him to win its 1v1 against MMane if at full health, while still having enough physical bulk to reliably check what it has to check.

latios.gif

Latios
Item :
Life Orb
lifeorb.png

Ability : Levitate
EVs : 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature : Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
IVs: 0 Atk
Draco Meteor
Psyshock
Defog
Roost

Role in the team : Latios, like Landorus-Therian, has so much to offer to a team : It can Defog, reliably check Keldeo with its reliable recovery, and can serve as a decent wallbreaker with its LO-boosted STAB Draco Meteor. He really helps the team a lot by removing SR to help Talonflame, or switching in Manectric-M which cripples the team a lot.

Set Details : Again, the standard LO set (it's the point of the team so lol), with 0 IV in Atk in order to take less damage from Foul Play.
talonflame.gif

Talonflame

Item :
Nothing. Brave Birds don't need that shit to carry hard.
Ability : Gale Wings
EVs : 248 HP / 248 SpD / 12 Spe
Nature : Careful (+SpD, -SpA)
Acrobatics
Will-O-Wisp
Swords Dance
Roost

Role in the team : One of the best fairy checks in the game with Jirachi. He is also one of the best M-Sab counters, being able to use him as a setup folder.

Set Details : Standard SpD + SD Talon set. I personally prefer SD on Bulk Up since it setups much faster than it, and moreover you don't always need the Def boost. I run 12 Speed to outspeed opposing defensive Talonflame.

scizor-mega.gif

Scizor-Mega
Item :
Scizorite
scizorite.png

Ability : Light Metal -> Technician
EVs : 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Nature : Impish (+Def, -SpA)
Bullet Punch
U-turn / Knock Off / Bug Bite
Swords Dance
Roost

Role in the team : One of the best pokemons in the tier IMO, because of his natural bulk, powerful priority in Bullet Punch and his very good match-up against most fairies. He's also one of the only mons that can reliably switch in Kyurem-B (bar HP Fire variants). The amount of mons that this thing can handle is really a high tbh.

Set Details : Here, i use the standard spread for the bulky SD, which really rounds up his bulk. I personally prefer U-turn on this set, but Knock Off and Bug Bite are also really good.

rotom-wash.gif

Rotom-Wash
Item :
Leftovers
leftovers.png

Ability : Levitate
EVs : 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Nature : Bold (+Def, -Atk)
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spe
Hydro Pump
Volt Switch
Will-O-Wisp
Pain Split

Role in the team : Possibly the best scout in the actual metagame. Rotom-W has a really good match-up against a lot of threats, such as Landorus-T, Sand Rush Excadrill, or Mega-Scizor. His ability to burn his checks and bringing momentum is really great in a meta where VoltTurn is that important.

Set Details : Standard defensive Rotom-W set. 30 Speed IVs allows my Rotom-W to get outsped 100% of the time by opposing Rotom-W, to Volt Switch right after them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Threatlist
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

slowbro.gif
/
slowbro-mega.gif
Slowbro(-Mega) : Even if Rotom-W can handle the non-Mega variant, i will struggle a LOT against MSlowbro, as i don't have any status such as TOX to take him down reliably. Even +4 U-turn from MScizor fails to OHKO it 80% of the time.

manectric-mega.gif
M-Manectric :
This pokemon is pretty annoying when it comes to teambuilding. His Volt Switch spam can totally destroy the team if managed well, as Latios is my only safe switch-in to it.

volcanion.gif
Heatran 2.0 : The newcomer is really dangerous for my team, as his Steam Eruption spam will force me to sack something 99% of the time. Even Latios and Rotom-W, my "best" answers to him, are destroyed by it.

Take notice that they may be some pokemon that i forgot to mention here, but these two are really the worse.

Volcanion demolishes your team. Therefore I recommend HP electric over scald/hydro on keldeo. Either that or swap to Spedef on Rotom to help it deal with its coverage moves.

Otherwise, it seems solid. As you mentioned, its easy to take 6 A+ ranked threats and make a team out of them. It seems that it has more thought behind it than you let on though. :p

Oh i forgot about him !
But you're right, Specs Volcanion can just come like "Hi. Switch-ins ?" and kill like EVERY pokemon of the team turn by turn.
HP Electric can also help me to deal w/ Slowbro
So ...

- Added Volcanion to the threatlist
- HP Electric > Icy Wind on Keldeo

I also did a spread for Rotom which allows him to get only 3HKOed by Volcanion's Steam Eruption after SR :

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 SpD // 248 HP / 48 Def / 212 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spe
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

The 1st spread will allow Rotom to check Volcanion easier, but still having enough physical bulk to take on threats such as Bisharp.

The 2nd will allow Rotom to not get 2HKOed by Steam Eruption after SR + BRN damage. Loses a lot of physical bulk, but can reliably check Volcanion (at least one time).

I'll leave a more in-depth rate later, but fast rotom checks volc way better than spdef rotom since it lets it still check the physical threats it needs to and lets it get off a volt switch without getting hit with a second attack. Below is the set that I recommend.
Rotom-Wash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 132 Def / 128 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunder Wave/Pain Split
Twave is cool for speed control as your team is really slow bar talon, but it's definitely optional.

Ehy man! :) the team is really solid and honestly I don't think there are really things to improve or important changes to do. The only really problem for this team is Manectric: your only switch for this pokemon is Latios but often is in core with a Pursuit users like Tyranitar or Weavile that make it more difficult to kill. Another problem is Sablaye: your only really mode to kill it is with keldeo, but can't switch in Knock Off because Specs is important against balanced and Stall build, because allows you to pressure Defensive things like Alomomola and Tangrowth that without the choice specs is really difficult to break. Talonflame can help but foul play break it relatively easily. Another minor problem is Volcanion that can be annoying, but honestly I think that a relatively important problem is Belly Drum Azumarill because can easily break this team after break Keldeo.

My first advice is to try Yache Berry on Landoru-T, because can helps you to lure and Break things like Manectric and Raikou that though to kill Landorus after some damages. The second changes is Bulk Up > Sword Dance honestly you have a solid win-con (Scizor) my suggest is to consider Bulk Up because really helps you against Stall Build with Sablaye. Last suggest is to use 56 Evs on Rotom, to outspeed Volcanion and things like BD Azumarill.

Set Complete:
Landorus-Therian @ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 248 SpD / 12 Spe
Careful Nature
- Acrobatics
- Will-O-Wisp
- Bulk Up
- Roost
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 56 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spe
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Hope I help good stuff :3

Hey man, this is a solid team. I've actually been experimenting with the Rotom / MZor / Lando / Lati core quite a bit recently (i actually recently built a nidoking team with it) so I'd like to make some simple and straightforward recommendations based on my experiences with that squad.

The first thing to notice is that you don't have anything very fast to revenge kill very fast threats, so you rely a lot on your defensive core to stop things from sweeping you. Scizor is great vs things like M-Ala, Weavile, Lop, etc. but fails to handle stuff like manectric (and other fast electrics, which as you correctly noted, are a major problem to your team). In addition to this, your team struggles with some defensive waters, as you already mentioned in the threatlist cm slowbro is a major problem, but also CM Suicune can be a massive issue as well. To remedy the problems with the current squad there are some key changes you can make that I think will make this team play even better for you.

The key to all of the changes that come after this will be changing Talonflame to Heatran. This change maintains a lot of the things talonflame does (beating serp, sab, checking fairies, etc.) while giving you a new rocker and eliminating the need for defog, giving you some more options with the rest of the team. On tran you can run whatever you want, but I like Magma + Solar as it helps the team out with bulky waters and such.

Now that we have a rocker, we can just run scarf lando > defensive. This gives you the option to revenge kill many more things and specifically makes your matchup vs elecs much better.

Finally we can simply switch latios to CM > Defog, giving it the ability to boost alongside threatening mons and become a dangerous breaker in itself.

Finally, some small changes, but you can consider Focus Blast on Keldeo to nail volcanion much harder than with hp elec while also blasting rotom and suicune and being a nice consistent "coverage" move, but this does worsen the matchup vs slowbro. Also 200 sdef is way more than mzor needs in most practical applications, i would lessen the investment to 124 and pump more evs into physdef. Pursuit might be a nice option over SD if that's your thing.

When I first built a team of this nature, I also originally went with a talon and defensive lando. After trying out the modifications I just gave you, however, I was much more happy with the squad, so I hope these changes work out for you. This was a kind of quick and short rate since your team is mostly fine and I didn't have a lot of time, but I hope this was helpful :D
