The Odd Brigade
Hello, its been a long time since I last posted thanx to my studies . Anyways , I was getting tired of using only TR teams and since I dont like weather , I have been trying to come up with a different style of fighting.
Anyhow here is my team :
Yes , my lead is a drifblim . The reason I chose it was that it can use both tailwind and destiny bond . Coupled with trick and shadow ball , its pretty well rounded out .
I originally had a salamence for electravire , but started using using electrivire after I realised how easily I could lure ppl into using electric attacks with Drifblim . Drifblim though was originally meant to help Salamence set up with moxie , its contimued to be useful for electrivire as well .
Anyhow the next guy is Heatran . I chose heatran due to the fact that it can simply dish out some damage of the fire kind and take a outrage and counter attack (the rocky helm breaks dragonites' multiscale).
Then comes Ditto . A great oh shit button that pairs well with Wobbuffet which can trap pokemon with encore.
Wobbuffet is broken and everyone knows it yet they put him back ........ good for me bad for its victims.
Last is chansey with the unexpected counter that has OHKOed too many to name. Anyhow , a big threat to many teams and a gr8 cleric for mine .

1.The Lead
Drifblim (F)

Trait: Aftermath
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Tailwind
- Trick
- Shadow Ball
Most ppl are shocked to see this guy. Drifblim being ghost is immune to Fake Out. Secondly, It has a gr8 move pool. The only pokemon that can use tailwind + destiny bond combo, it allows a near guranteed kill. In the case of being outmanuvered , its ability aftermath kicks in doing something better than nothing. Trick ofcourse is for disabling a generally annoying pokemon [take ur choice to what pomkemon u find annoying , I pick Whimsicott]

Electrivire is an evolved form of a 1st gen pokemon and hence carries an extremely large movepool. Its high speed allows for killing paper pokemon [light but hard hitting types]. Also Its speed can be further boosted by its ability which activates quite frequently thanx to drifblim. I chose a choice band variant as otherwise I felt it had no attack power [even now it barely does 75% to zapdos with ice punch]. Oh and he is really good for fighting rain teams.

Seriously speaking he is very very much expendable , I have him coz he is a powerhouse ablt to counter most sun teams. Other than that , he is not my favourite pokemon. Anyways , also a gr8 anti-dragon guy, he has his moments.

Ditto is ditto . U can't change the fact as in to how quickly he can turn the tide of battle . With wobbuffet he has a gr8 synergy . The choice scarf allows for me hit 1st generally killing something in the process.
5.The Doomsayer

I said it b4 , ill say it again , he is too broken for OU , countering one too many pokemon. Anyhow , I kept the 4th skill as tickle so as to encourage opposing pokemon to switch if i switch allowing me to set up /have a cheap shot. Encore is gr8 for trapping poemon . It hates U-Turn users , but heatran with rocky helm loves 'em making my opponent think 2x b4 using u-turn on him.
6.The Cleric

Chansey is the best cleric of this game , no shit . With eviolite , it can even soak up physical hits and counter 'em generally killing the attacker . My biggest problem is fighting types though . Now having any long lasting ghost types /any psychic types , I just don't have a medium for soaking that damage. Countering fighting types a little too risky for her as well.
