Hello again everyone, The Grim Garchomp here, and I'm back (from the dead boredness of dead chat on Pokemon Showdown ;-;) to give you my 2nd RMT! After seeing the success of my first team (thanks to u guys <3 cookies fo EVWYBODY!! Also shoutouts to Volteli and fimbu1vetr for helping the most), i decided to make ANOTHER Megatric team. It has been doing well, but I want it to do even BETTER. So I came to you smart gentlemen. So here it is, The One-Nicks Six!!
Megatron (Heatran) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
To start this RMT off, we have Megatron the Heatran!! He is my special wall and Stealth Rock setter, tanking hits like no one's business. Leftovers over Air Balloon as Balloon gets popped too quickly, and without any lack of recovery Heatran is vulnerable, which is why I gave Megatron some form of recovery. EVs and nature for maximum special walling (and a bit of attacking too). Lava Plume for STAB and burns, Toxic to poison any pokemon that I cannot get a burn on, and Roar for that Hazard-Phasing(and to screw up any Cosmic Power Clefables and any other set-up sweeper).
Beyblade (Ferrothorn) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Protect
To be my physical wall and Stealth Rock setter, its Beyblade the Ferrothorn (see the resemblance to the Beyblade? Hmm? HMMMM? nvm ;-;)!! I chose Rocky Helmet over Leftovers for any Kings Rock Cinccinos (i think thats how you spell it) that might want to Tail Slap, or any Outraging Dragonites or Garchomps. Evs and nature are for best physical tanking and IVs for speed are for maximum damage with Gyro Ball, which counters fairies, should Megatron ever faint. Leech Seed for longevity and recovery(if i dont miss GAHH), Stealth Rock for hazards, especially for Dragonite, Talonflame, and any Sashed Pokemon, and Protect to scout a move (just in case my opponent tries to predict, and it happens alot). Gyro Ball, as said before, is to wreck any fairy that comes by, being powered by low speed and 4 atk EVs (if 4 EVs can powerup anything at all :P)
Sensei (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
To be my scarfer, and pairing with Mega Manectric to have a dual intimidate VoltTurn core is Sensei the Landorus-T!! This thing is like the brother of Mega Manectric, taking Earthquakes, Intimidating alongside the thunder dog, and phasing in and out together. Instead of Adamant I put Jolly nature to outspeed any other Lando-Ts around (if they aint jolly either). EVs are for outspeeding the opponent and hitting them hard. Earthquake for STAB, Stone Edge for coverage against flying-types, Knock Off to screw with Eviolite Chanseys and other scarfed users and U-Turn to phase out with Mega Manectric, as a VoltTurn pair.
Sunshine (Azumarill) (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
This guy is DEFINITELY my Sunshine. Assault Vest over Choice Band or Bellymarill for 3 reasons. I already have a banded pokemon, and if I had a set-up sweeper on this team, it would be out of place. This is a Bulky Offense, not a Hyper Offense. For the 3rd reason, it is VERY simple. I do not have a special wall on my team. It took a lot of brainstorming, thinking of a special wall that fit, and I could not find any (not even in RU and below :P I was that desperate). Then an idea came to me. If I cant find a special wall, why not a special TANK?? Using this idea I found this set, and it fit JUST right. EVs and nature for tanking any stray special attacks and draco meteors. I did not put Waterfall in the moveset as it never really helped me in any battles, and Aqua Jet did enough damage on it's own, so I replaced it with Ice Punch to PWN any special grass-types that might show up, like Roserade. Aqua Jet and Play Rough for STAB, and Knock Off to screw with Eviolite Chansey and Trick users.
Blackout (Manectric) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
As my mega, my special sweeper, and giving me a bit of VoltTurn, its the star of the show, the main man, the one and only, Blackout the Manectric!! (Yes, it's another Transformers reference but i based the nickname on his shiny colours, as he used to be named Zeus, and that isn't very creative :P) This thing is a beast. Wide movepool, crazy stats (especially speed, good lord, he outspeeds TALONFLAME and GRENINJA) and awesome abilities, this guy is a force to be reckoned with. With Lightningrod, I can intercept any Thunder Waves from Prankster Thundurus, Thunderbolts from opposing Mega Manectrics, Volt Switches from Rotom, and basically any threatening Electric-type attack. EVs and nature are to outspeed EVERY SINGLE non-scarfed sweeper out there, and tying with the fastest (which is another Mega Manectric, if I'm not wrong (and I usually am ;-;)) and moves are self-explanatory. Thunderbolt for STAB, Volt Switch to keep some momentum and turn the tides of any game, Flamethrower for coverage (namely against Ferrothorns, Magnezones, and any Steel/Grass type to show their faces) and HP Ice for those yucky Ground/Flying like Gliscor and Landorus-I(also Thundurus-I after intercepting a T-wave).
Luma (Latias) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Healing Wish
For our final pokemon, we have my defogger, healer, and special sweeper, Luma the Latias!! This set was suggested by a fine gentleman known as Volteli, giving a shout-out to the guy. The EVs may be random, but it is to live a hit, hit hard right back, and outspeed the opponent for a Healing Wish late-game. The timid nature also supports this. Psyshock and Draco Meteor for STAB and checking the POTENTIAL threat Mega Venusaur(with HP Fire or Earthquake, I have seen those sets before). Defog to clear any hazards on the field(Dragonite would lose his multiscale, and without any lack of recovery, Blackout and Sunshine are toast late-game.), and Healing Wish to bring back a sweeper on low health to turn the tides of the game (namely Blackout and Sunshine, again :P).
Well there you have it, the One-Nicks Six. Now, here are the threats to this team.

Well there you have it, the One-Nicks Six. Now, here are the threats to this team.
- Rotom-W(GOD, this thing is ANNOYING. With no grass-type attacks on my teams, the best I can do against it is wear it down with Stealth Rock and absorbing any Volt Switches with Blackout. I need to make lots of good predictions to kill it and this bastard usually burns at least 1 pokemon before fainting, and it's usually one of my physical sweepers :P)
- Scarfed Lando-T(He'll Earthquake Blackout and Megatron, use Knock Off on Luma, Stone Edge Hulk (after ridding the multiscale :P) and Earthquake is a 2HKO on Sunshine. Without Ferrothorn and Landorus-T, this thing can cruise through my team if I make bad plays.)
- Mega Venusaur (Without Luma and Psyshock, I have nothing against this thing, as it could have Earthquake for Heatran and HP Fire for Ferrothorn. 'Nuff said.)
