Another year goes by and you know just when I think I'm out Legends Z-A pulls me back in.
In case my history didn't make this clear, or to the uninitiated, this is going to be a theory about the character L. For you see L does not stand for Lysandre, but rather L is short for LE FISHE EST BAQUE BÉBÉ
THAT'S RIGHT IT'S TIME TO PIECE TOGETHER HOW LEGENDS Z-A FITS INTO THE GRAND THEORY OF LYSANDRE BEING LE FISHE.
Let's start off with the obvious, Lysandre is gonna live for 3000 years. How the hell does this tie into Le Fishe. Well that's really fucking easy, see this all stems from the ultimate weapon being shaped like a flower, and while not rose shaped it is a flower none the less. Strange how this FLOWER is enhancing the LIFE of LYSANDRE, all the while Le Fishe is forever immortalized with the song La Vie En Rose.
"But guy who's name is too long, that translates to the life in pink, it doesn't refer to the flower you fucking idiot.", I hear you bemoan and decry. However you have fallen for my trap card, BEHOLD THE VISUALS!
On the left we have the young spry Lysandre who is a technically a redhead but on the right we have L with his white hair. Tell me what color does red and white produce? That's right class it produces PINK! The ties to Lysandre and the fish grow even stronger, but wait there's more because LE FISHE EST CARP! Now back in the ancient year of 2020 I already discussed how Lysandre's Ace is Gyarados ie the final form of Le Fishe, but carp are hardy fish that can live practically everywhere and anywhere. That's why Magikarp is fucking everywhere in pokemon, but you know who else gets to live like that now for the next 3000 years? You know who is going to live like that for the next 3000 years? It's fucking Lysandre. By firing the ultimate weapon he has gained the ability to live like le fishe, to survive in any environment he deems fit.
Lastly we have the fact that Lysandre as L is a tale that I can only describe as a reverse dragon gate. A once legendary and powerful figure, with complexities deeper than most initially thought, believed that he could not be toppled. After all he had traversed up the waterfall to become the mighty dragon, but he was pushed down it. Even though he could not drown the water rapids prevented him from flying and the deeper he fell the more he reverted back into a humble carp. Now he swims at the bottom of the falls, knowing that his power might not have been worth it after all and rather than attain his goal in this stream, perhaps he will find a new one and swim up the falls a new way as a changed fish.
My point in bringing that up is that by showing us how far Lysandre has fallen, he is no more than a humble carp and perhaps his journey within the pokemon world will take him to weird new places, possibly a bath tub in some Bohemia inspired region, where he listens to classic kalosian music about seeing the world in pink. Truly he is Le Fishe.
