The perfect base 600!

I'm not exactly sure how to start this off, but I was thinking about which typing/stats/ability/etc would add to be the most effective pokemon in the current D/P metagame. This is a game and at the same time a discussion on which Pokemon is the "perfect" in the current standard metagame. I know there isn't one, that's why you're making one up!

So here are the rules of the pokemon or "fakemon" that you can create.(For those who wish to play)

I have a certain format which I'd like everyone here to follow to make things a little simpler and easier to understand. Here's the format:

Name: This is the name of your pokemon. Simple stuff.

Typing: This is where you list it's type or dual typing. Only list typing that already exists.

Ability: List it's ability. Only use abilities which already exist and do not use wonder guard.

Stats: All pokemon's base stats can't exceed 600. I'm doing this so we wouldn't have 720 base Arceus pokemon and I was thinking about the standard metagame and not above. So here, you'll do a layout of it's stats.(base)

HP/Atk/Def/SAtk/SDef/Speed

Try to add something that wouldn't be broken. Something with 500 max speed and 500 max attack would be broken so try not to do that.

I wanted to add a movepool section, but that's not necessary since everyone would simply use the best and most useful moves.

Evolution: If this Pokemon evolved from anything, list it. You can say that your pokemon evolves from actual pokemon in D/P, or from fakemon you made up. Let's assume that pokemon can't evolve from the third stage. So please don't use things like "Godzilla" and say it evolved from Tyranitar.

Explenation: Here you'll explain the pokemon's use in the standard metagame and you can tell us which pokemon your "fakemon" deals the best with and vice versa. Remember, the perfect pokemon has to have a combination of all of the sections above.

Description: You can have some fun in this section. Describe to us what the pokemon that you thought of looks like! If you're basing it off of some animal you can post the pic if you want to. Post what you think it's height and weight would be.

And the last section is simply a question: In the current D/P metagame(which isn't established yet, but I think most of us have enough knowledge for an opinionated question): Which "real" Pokemon that is 600 base or under(including Slaking) do you think is the closest to the "perfect pokemon?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll start off with an example:

Name: Metaghoul (I know I don't have an imagination)

Typing: Ghost/Steel

Ability: Levitate

Stats: HP-100/Atk-80/Def-120/SAtk-90/Sdef-100/Spd-110

Evolution: doesn't have one

Explenation: This "fakemon" would work well because of it's great defensive typing and it's ability would allow it to switch into several different types of attacks. It's only weakness is fire and fire type attacks aren't common.

Description: It would have a base of a ghost/ghoul (however you imagine it) except obviously it's made of metal, too. So mix
Casper-Friendly-Ghost.jpg
this and this
Hexagon_Steel_Bar.jpg
and you get the right idea lol.

As for the last question: I would probably say either Tyranitar or Salamence. I can't decide.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The purpose of this thread is to have fun and also discuss which typing/ability/etc is the closest that we can get to "perfect" in the standard competitive environment with the limits that we have in certain areas.

So have fun with this, and create your own poke!

Try to add something that wouldn't be broken. Something with 500 speed and 500 attack would be broken so try not to do that.

The highest Base Status is 255 since RBY, and only Blissey have reach that amount.

Your idea seems interesting. I'm curious too see what kind of pokemon people will post.

Fibark-Evolves from Sudowoodo

Type-Rock
Movepool-same as Sudowoodo
Abilities: Rock Head, Solid Rock

Base Stats:

100 130 130 35 100 35

Name: Blah, I can't think of one
Type: Ghost/Fighting
Ability: Adaptibility
Stats: 100/140/85/60/80/135 speed last
Evolution: none
Explanation: This Pokemon is pure physical sweeper, with an excellent offensive STAB combinations and Adaptibility to boost its attacks even more. It is extremely fast with decent survivability, and Fighting is the perfect type to punch through Skarmory regardless of how much Defense it has. Notable moves: Close Combat, Shadow Claw, Swords Dance
Description: This guy looks like a pixie and has very low weight, so Grass Knot only has 20 base power against it. It's supposed to be an event Pokemon.

Alrighty, sounds cool.

Pokemon Name: Titagon
Type: Steel/Dragon
Ability: Levitate
Height: 8'10"
Weight: 638 lbs.

Base Stats: 105 HP/110 Attack/140 Def/80 SA/90SD/75 Speed

Appearance:
JMP001.jpg

This is the base, only more Metallic in nature.

Explanation: Excellent defenses, good resists, and a decent attack stat give Titagon lots of easy switchins where it can provide a credible, but not overwhelming threat. Levitate in particular makes it difficult to deal with because it resists Rock and Ground. Its speed is only average but its faster than TTar and Metagross. Fighting is its only weakness, and its high defense makes only Aura Pulse and boosted fighting attacks threatening. Titagon generally has to run from Heracross, but Hera will take some damage coming in. Dragon and Steel aren't the greatest STABs to have offensively, other Steel types resist both of them.

Among other things, it is pretty much to complete counter to Tyranitar and Metagross, resisting most or all of their standard moves. It's only neutral to Dragon so it handles Salamence and Garchomp less effectively, even though they can't switch into it well. There isn't much of anything Swampert and Rhyperior can do to it, and its immune to Sandstream. Blissey can't really take it down either, since it creates 101+ HP Subs. With resistances to Grass(4x), Normal, Water, Electric, Psychic, Rock, Bug, Ghost, Dark, and Steel, and Immunity to Ground and Poison, it has quite a few safe switchins.

Ultimately, Titagon functions as a tank against some of the largest offensive threats in the game.

Notable Moves: Swords Dance, Iron Defense, Dragon Claw, Draco Meteor, Iron Head, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Fire Blast, Focus Punch, Roost.

Evolution: Would be a 3rd stage of a Dragon line that I can't be bothered to imagine right now.

Name: Deoxys-X (only obtainable on Veilstone City if you have at least three or more different kinds of Deoxys in your party and have gotten the Mutant Stone through event. Your Deoxys will disappear, and the more Deoxys you have the higher IVs it'll have - up to 6 Deoxys.)

Type: Psychich/Ghost

Status: 15/200/5/200/5/175

Trait: Pressure

Evolution: None

Looks like: Deoxys FR/E

Explanation: An Uber version of the uber Deoxys-FR. It's a beast. Give him a Life Orb and sweep. Ghost makes it easier to switch-in with such crappy defense. It learns Extremespeed OHKOing a lot of things that would try to defeat it with Speed Priority moves. Bullet Punch Metagross and Shadow Sneak Dusknoir will become the Standard set just to defeat something like this. Deoxys-E kills it on Ubers. Focus Sash is an option to counter them.

Notable moves: Boltbeam/Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Extremespeed, Superpower, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Explosion, Knock Off, Dark Pulse.

How about it? :B

Name: Tornadozard!

Typing: Electric/Ice

Ability: Adaptability

Stats: HP-100/Atk-0/Def-50/SAtk-200/Sdef-50/Spd-200

Evolution: doesnt matter, this thing rapes

Explanation: This is the double-STAB BoltBeamer we've all been looking for, it basically just has massive speed to beat out everything and destroys anything in its wake. I reccommend against using a physical set, however.

Description: It's basically just a tornado of destruction, destroying absolutely everything near it (including the metagame).

Last Question: Manaphy.

Name: Phalanx
Type: Steel / Dragon
Ability: Levitate
Statistics: 130 HP, 35 Attack, 140 Defense, 115 Sp.Atk, 135 Sp.Def, 45 Speed
Evolution: None
Explanation: With fantastic defenses and high HP, Phalanx makes a fantastic tank. Its typing leaves it only vulnerable to Fighting-moves thanks to Levitate. With a surprisingly solid special attack statistic, Phalanx can deal some excellent damage with excellent STAB while taking a lot of hits. It has a variety of status that it can inflict upon an opponent, making it hard to predict. Thunder Wave helps with its abysmal speed statistic. Will-o-wisp burns the opponent and aids its already huge defense statistic. Toxic works well on a Draco Meteor set to wear down the opponent.
Notable Moves: Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Flash Cannon, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Will-o-wisp, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Wish.

Here's one that will create a new stalling era:

Buffly (PHYSICAL BLISSEY)
Evolves from Chansey
Fighting
Serene Grace, Natural Cure

255 HP
75 Attack
135 Defense
10 Special Attack
10 Special Defense
55 Speed

The body shape looks like Blissey, but the fat is now all muscle. It learns some of the traditional physical moves (Earthquake, Stone Edge), as well as Bulk Up.

Why don't we discuss that Metagame we're creating? Discuss things like how useful SR would be, things that would become more commom (i.e. Speed priority moves to counter things like Deoxys-X/Tornadozard) or the best offensive type...

Edit: lol, Physical Bliss rocks xD

As a note, I'd just like to point out a Base stat of 0 is impossible, and the lowest Base stat ever seen on a Base 600 has been 20, Deoxys-FR's Defense. The lowest offensive stat has been 70, Deoxys LG's Attack/SA. Lowest HP was 50, also Deoxys. Lowest Speed was TTar, at 61.

In other words, I think its highly improbable/unfair to simply cut out all of a pokemon's attack stat simply to boost all other stats.

I hate to harp on everyone, but pokemon are still semi-realistic creatures. Deoxys' general nature was to be extreme in one area over all others, unless you've got a semi-decent reason why your pokemon can do what it does, spare us the 10/280/10/10/10/280 spreads.

Edit: LOL Physical Blissey awesome.

trickmaster

Mr Mime evo: the clown dude/trickmaster etc (Mime Senior? Mimozo? Mr Clown?)
seems kindof silly but logical to evolve a mime into a clown, and trick room makes sense with that too

122.png
+
bozo.jpg

ridiculous, no?!
ability: trick room effect starter like sandstream etc...
base: 110 HP, 50 ATK, 110 DEF, 140 SPA, 150 SPDF, 20 SPD

Would dominate and create new tactics like a trick team with him as the center, kind of like a slowking but with better defence and a much better ability, could stall and sweep, would have obvious problems with blissy however, but the rest of the team could complement that easily like a snorolax would beat the hell out of the blissy and take good advantage of the trick room set up, as would ryperior

notable movepool: focus blast, calm mind, cosmic power, recover, psychic, power trick and other trick moves, thunderbolt, ice beam, shadow ball, dark pulse, baton pass

Tratsu (Tree + Tatsu, which is, apparently, Japanese for dragon)
Type: Grass/Dragon, obviously
Height: 3'7"
Length: 11'10" from nose tip to end of tail
Weight: 576.8 lbs
Gender Ratio: 50% Male 50% Female

Design:
A Myrtle Komodo dragon-esque monster with leaves on it's paws and eyelids. It has branches jetting out of either side, and rose thorun on it's underside. It's tail is a large Thorned Vine with a rose at the tip. It has a collar made of branches as the frame with leaves connecting them.

Base Stats:
120 HP 85 Attack 115 Defense 125 Special Attack 110 Special Defense 45 Speed
It sacrifices speed to be a better Rhyperior, but a well paced Ice Beam will KO it before it gets a chance to hit. We need a BST 600 that's a better special sweeper than physical.

Ability:
Intimidate (Lowers Attack upon entry in battle) OR Rough Skin (Damages upon contact)
Leaf Guard (Automatic Safeguard when the sunshine intensifies)

Evolutionary Line:
Baryu (Bark + Ryu) --Level 27-> Branchon (Branch + Dragon) --Level 52-> Tratsu

Egg Hatch Time:

10,496 Steps (Long)

Growth Rate:
1,250,000 Experience Points

Noticeable Movepool:

Special: Surf, Leaf Storm, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, Hidden Power, Thunder, Shadow Ball, Earth Power, Weather Ball, Solarbeam, Dragonbreath (If your into that)

Physical: Dragon Claw, Seed Bomb, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Stone Edge (If your into that), Crunch, Shadow Claw, Return, Iron Tail, Brick Break, Double Edge

Other: Roar, Substitute, Toxic, Leech Seed, Glare, Odor Sleuth (If your into that), Double Team (If your into that), Amnesia, Swords Dance, Rest, Sleep Talk, Stealth Rock, Mud Sport (If your into that), Curse, Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Aromatherapy, Synthesis, Endure, Counter, Mirror Coat

Pokedex Entry:
TRATSU live at the bases of large trees in colonies with the oldest being the pack leader. They are fairly slow and peaceful, but strike back with powerful attacks such as SOLARBEAM. They are rarely hunted due to their powerful hides painful to the touch and dynamic group strategies.

Strategy to beat Tratsu:
It's weak to Dragon, Flying, Poison and Bug with a quadruple weakness to Ice. Something like CB Weavile's STABbed Ice Punch obliterates it. Plus, it's horribly slow, so almost everything wil out run it, except for stuff.

Name: Ardyh (Hydra reversed)
Type: Poison/Dragon
Height: 6'0"
Length: 14'7" (From tip to tail)
Gender Ratio: Same as Arbok

Design: Picture an Arbok. Now imagine that at the point where its fake face is, the neck spits up into 3 long necks, each making for a new snake head. It also gets those things on the back Tyranitar has, although in a less spikey way.

Base Stats:
110 HP, 130 ATK, 100 DEF, 95 SP ATK, 100 SP DEF, 65 Speed

Ability:
Intimidate
Shed Skin

Evolutionary Line:
Level up Arbok holding a Moon Stone at Turnback Cave and it will turn into this monstrocity.

Movepool:
Same as Arbok, but gains Dragon Bite (75 base power, 15% of inflicting either Toxic, Paralysis, Burn or Freeze).

WRYYYYYYYYYYY.

Name: Unbelievable! (Evolution of Farfetch'd)

Typing: Fighting / Flying

Stats: 90 HP / 130 Atk / 95 Def / 30 SpAtk / 80 SpDef / 120 Spd

Evolution Chain: Farfetch'd --> Unbelievable!

Ability: Scrappy: Allows the Pokemon to hit Ghost types with Normal and Fighting type attacks.

Pokedex Information: In its beak, it carries a staff-like tree branch. It mercilessly beats its prey with powerful hit-and-run strikes before devouring it.

Description: Unbelievable! is a large white bird, quite a bit larger than a full-grown hawk. It has numerous tufts of brown hair on its head and wings. Its sharp talons can easily rip into prey, and its large, powerful wings allow it to fly without hardly flapping at all.

Notable Movepool: Brave Bird, Close Combat, Brick Break, Counter, Aerial Ace, Swords Dance, Agility, Drill Peck, Focus Punch, Roar, Substitute, Double Team, Extremespeed, Reversal, Endure

Explanation: In the Metagame, Unbelievable! would be a valuable asset to most teams as a great physical sweeper with several excellent STAB moves in the form of Brave Bird, Close Combat, and Drill Peck. With amazing attack and speed base stats, this previously underused Evolution chain will see a large amount of use in the Metagame.

XD. Unbelievable!

Not to be a nuisance to the discussion and sorry if this bothers anyone, but didn't they say no more of the "make you own" threads?

Name: Jestirror

Typing: Normal / Ghost

Stats: 55HP/135Att/60Def/135Spatt/60Spdef/120Spd

Evolution chain: Shuppet-> Banette -> Jestirror

Abiltity: levitate

Description: Essentually banette, accept his body his hal black, half white. The body has become much longer, barring the shape of an accordian. The legs of the pokemon have dissipeared and are replaced with a short wispy tail. The eyes are a dark shad of yellow, and the arms noow resemple a torn sweater.

Notible movepool: Shadow Ball/claw/sneak, Body slam, Sucker punch, Hyper voice, Shadow force.

Explanation: Fuck you dusknoir! Banette got a new evo too.

Try this one:

Name: Draven
Type: Dark/Flying
Ability: Insomnia/Super Luck
Evolves from Honchcrow: Levelup in Turnback Cave

Base Stats: 105 HP/125 Atk/62 Def/105 SA/62 SD/121 Speed

raven-bird.jpg

That with the pimp hat.

Notable movepool: Honchkrow's + Close Combat

Basically the Murkrow evo we were all hoping for, with enough speed to beat out Kazam/Sceppy/Fugtrio.

Flamflor (flame + flor, spanish for flower)
Type: Fire/ Grass
Height: 3'00"
Weight: 23.4 lbs.
Gender Ratio: 50/ 50

Design: Think of flower but instead of petals it has flames surrounding the middle. It also has thorns troughout its body. Kinda like a flaming rose like sun flower. Its shiny sprite would have blue and green flames instead of the normal red and orange. It has large and thick roots. There is always pollen floating in the nearby air.

Pokedex: This is an extremly dangerous pokemon. Going near it may cause serious illness due to the hazy like pollen in the vicinity.

Base Stats:110 HP/ 80 Atk/ 80 Def/ 140 SpAtk/ 110 SpDef/ 80 Speed

Ability:
Drought
Effect Spore

Evolutionary Line: Sunkern w/ Sun Stone---> Sunflora holding Dawn Stone and level up in Stark Mountain.

Notable Movepool: The same as Sunflora but with a few things added. It can learn Flamethrower, Overheat, Aromatherapy, Poison Powder, Spore, Stun Spore, Silver Wind, Cotton Spore, Fire Blast, Fire Spin, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes.

Explanation: Finaly an non uber pokemon with the ability drought. It will be the core of many Sunny Day themed teams. Its unique type combination means that only Flying, Poison, and Rock moves are Super Effective against it. It has ok speed and great special attack. It would make for a good special sweeper.

Name: Planyss
Species: Revenge Pokemon
Dex Description: Planyss is known to phase in and out existance, often observing life and avenging murders.
Rough Description: Human-shaped, about 4'9, and with a translucent purple body. One arm is clawed, the other a clenched fist. It solidifies when it wants to.

Type: Ghost/Fighting

Bases: 75 HP / 85 Atk / 115 Def / 125 SpA / 115 SpD / 85 Spd

Ability: Adaptability: Boosts the power of STAB attacks.

Notable Movepool:
Special: Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball, Psychic, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Thunder (I guess), Grass Knot

Physical: Sucker Punch, Focus Punch, Cross Chop, Dynamic Punch, Shadow Claw, Close Combat, Reversal

Support: Nasty Plot, Glare, Recover, Taunt, Mean Look

Effectiveness: Fighting/Ghost is at least neutral to all types except for Normal/Ghost, which sadly doesn't exist. It's also pretty decent on the defencive, fearing only Psychic, Ghost and Flying. It lols at Bug, Normal and Fighting and resists rock. Its stats are pretty damn tanky, too. Especially with Recover and Taunt to prevent set-ups.

Counters: Not many. Maybe a maxed out Specs-Zam/Gengar and certainly some of the CB flyers could give it a run for its money. And Azelf. Or a bulky Mirror Coat-er. But not many. It really doesn't like things that set up beforehand.

...damn you Sage. >_<

Fighting/Ghost is at least neutral to all types except for Normal/Ghost, which sadly doesn't exist.

Now it does.

Name: Sadbunny

Type: Normal/Ghost

Evolves: Loppuny (level up in Giratina's room on Turnback cave after killing a ghost pokemon with Max Power Frustation - Foresight needed - holding a Dawn stone with Giratina and 3 different ghost pokemon and a spare slot on Party on a 13th Friday) lol

Trait: Sadness (Increases damage if target is happy, Boost Dark-type moves by 50%)

Max Happiness: 200%

Intermediary Happiness: 150%

Neutral Happiness or less: 100%

Base Stats: 100/130/90/75/100/105

Looks like: A ghost Loppuny

Moveset: Expert Belt
Jolly Nature, Max Atk and Spd, leftovers on HP

Frustation
Sucker Punch
Brick Break/Earthquake
Will-o-Wisp

Explanation: This guy will be a pain for normal types that usually run Return or any pokemon who usually likes the trainer. Unfortunately, it doesn't learn Shadow Claw, but it's still a major threat. STABed Return can reach up to 304 BP which is enough to OHKO a lot of things. 120 BP Sucker Punch takes care of Ghost and high speed beasts that are everywhere on this fake metagame. Brick Break/Earthquake are a need to kill Rock/Steel types, and if Rhyperior thinks he can counter you, just burn it.

Other Options: 101 Subs, Agility, Switcheroo, Shadow Sneak, Destiny Bond, Knock Off, Calm Mind. Sadbunny is sturdy enough to try any of them, but you usually will prefer the standard set.
