Battle Stadium The Perfect Capture

:Frosmoth:
Frosmoth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Ice Scales
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 60 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 188 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Giga Drain
- Tera Blast
- Bug Buzz

I discovered this a while ago...for w/e reason. QD was the original set, but went AV for the obscene SpD, and cause QD wasn't used. Ground tera blast is way better imo, because while the other moves aren't skippable really, they do give big holes vs. stuff like Ghold, Heatran, and other steels. EVs are for 4 Spe Bax/Tusk, max SpA, and bulk to take a hit from Pao or most any special. This can be extremely good, but suffers quite a bit on the physical side unfortunately. Still, it deals absurd damage, and is of great value vs Iron Bundle.

:Ninetales-Alola:
Ninetales-Alola @ Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
Level: 50
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 36 HP / 212 Def / 4 SpA / 52 SpD / 204 Spe
Timid Nature
- Aurora Veil
- Freeze-Dry
- Encore
- Blizzard

EVs from the stratdex, changed moves a bit because, while this seems partially redundant and weird, I couldn't figure out what Moonblast actually hits. I guess this is fine, can always change it easily. Was also considering Chilling Water. Ice tera because I don't have many shards of certain types, i.e. water. It powers up the 2 STABs at least. This is dubious really. Now I've wanted to try this w/ Frosmoth for a while, shores up phys def just w/ snow, and makes special side so op for Frosmoth w/ veil, while snowveil makes even the physical side sturdy. However in practice both cannot often be brought, as they share some key weaknesses. I may use a different screener, like w/ actual screens. I think those go well w/ Frosmoth.

:Cresselia:
Cresselia @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Stored Power
- Calm Mind

I like Cress, and in the past she was suggested to me anyway, as I was using two mons while this one kinda does what they did. Steel Tera was also suggested for Bloodmoon, 100% agree. Boring set and EVs, Covert Cloak for w/e, I actually forgot. This isn't brought much. Idk, I'd expect it to be but so far not. I do like the steel tera for DNite though.

:Urshifu-Rapid-Strike:
Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Choice Band
Ability: Unseen Fist
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Iron Head
- Close Combat
- U-turn

I had Scarf as that was suggested to me, but put Band when I decided to use Chandelure. This seems ok...obviously it's famed move makes it worth it just for that. Iron Head was put for fairies, idk that I need it, haven't used it at any rate and rock/ice get hit by STABs bar weird dual types. Boring EVs, tera for damage. This is leftover from when I was told to make a real(so standard) team. Obviously that didn't last long, kinda took the fun away. But I'm willing to stick w/ this one for now, as some common things help me see if Frosmoth and them can work, or are bad even w/ good support(well Frosmoth itself isn't bad imo, but maybe in this team it may not work and that's what I'm trying to find out.)

:Chandelure:
Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
Level: 50
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Overheat

I put this on because of Ogergon-h, and I like TrickScarf. Now I like this mon a lot because, apparently, I caught a PERFECT one. Not only is it a neutral nature by default, for pinch berries it may trick, it ALSO has 0 atk IV, noteworthy on a Foul Play weakness imo. I didn't try to get it perfect, but apparently it is. Anyways, grass is the wild Kitakami one, I wanted that for powering up Energy Ball, and also to save shards on changing to, say, steel. Chandelure isn't frail in my book, heck the base def and SpD are higher than spe even, but I couldn't find any reason to change EVs from max/max. The 4 leftover probably don't do anything in either side, I was just out of Resist Feathers so I put them in SpD. Seems like a good mon, mostly I just like it cause I caught such a good one lol.

:Goodra-Hisui:
Goodra-Hisui @ Leftovers
Ability: Sap Sipper
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 Spe
Relaxed Nature
- Shelter
- Body Press
- Heavy Slam
- Draco Meteor

Shelter cause I forgot Acid Armor on the pre evo. Actually ran into SpiteMinimize Qwilfish h, but won w/ Ninetails-A(one point for Blizzard.) So it coulda mattered, but idk. Generally won't. Also it showed how Heavy Slam is good vs. evasion hax. Anyways, basic set from stratdex, just w/ some Spe for w/e. It does matter though. This was put here for the other Ogerpon forms. Seems ok now, had much difficulty using this mon before, but I like it again.

I'm not doing much better or worse since making this team. No huge surprise, really I suppose I'm just glad it isn't getting worse. I think there is a future in Frosmoth, or at least I'll try to make one xd. It has seen me through some stuff, and can take a pittance from all sorts of special attacks, and beats the Bloodmoon beast.

EDITL Put in Avalugg-h for Oger h and the high def alongside frosmoth. But now Ninetails is extra awkward w/ all the ice, looking for a new screener;

BUMP(I tried standard derpy but meh, and I tried hard to make this team, though it's changed. Adore frosmoth a bunch.)
