The Power of Gimmick Stall

I've only recently come up with this team after being out of competitive battling for a really long time. So it's probably complete rubbish. In any case I thought it'd be fun to try it out. That said, here it is.... let me know what you think.

Ninja Lead
Ninjask - Speed Boost - Jolly - Leftovers
252 SPE / 252 DEF / 4 HP
Substitute
Protect
X-scissor
Baton Pass

Easy enough to understand. Sub and Protect to get as many Speed Boosts as possible, X-scissor whenever my Sub isn't broken and then BP to the next pokemon in line.

Next to "Glass Cannon" in the Dictionary....
Rampardos - Mold Breaker - Jolly - Focus Sash
252 SPE / 252 ATK / 4HP
Zen Headbutt
Earthquake
Thunder Punch
Stone Edge/Rock Slide (haven't decided)

Rampardos has the highest Base Attack of any non Uber Pokemon in the entire game so far. But it can't sweep because it's sooo slow. I'm hoping that being BP'd some Speed Boosts will help. The idea is to scout and destroy anything that'll screw up my Stall. Zen Headbutt for added type coverage. Thunder Punch for Skarmory and Water Pokemon trying to wall otherwise exactly like you'd expect it to be. Focus Sash because anything faster that hits it will be sure to OHKO it, so the Sash lets Rampardos hit them back before it dies. I don't actually expect Rampardos to last long, but I'm hoping to get as many KO's out of it as possible. Anyway, once it goes down I switch too......

Don't try the Kalamari!
Tentacruel - Liquid Ooze - Careful - Leftovers
252 HP / 252 SP.D / 4 DEF
Toxic Spikes
Substitute
Rapid Spin
Protect

Do a Sub-Spike combo (2 spikes if I can for Bad Poison) and then Spin off Stealth Rocks as they're sure to be up by now. Then switch back to Ninjask and stall with it for a while. I can always come back to Tentacruel whenever I need to anyway but with Rampardos gone Ninjask is useless other than to stall for a bit. Once he's gone I come back to Tentacruel or if I get lucky enough to switch into Leech Seed. I almost dropped Protect for Water Pulse but then I decided this set would be better for stalling so I decided against it. If they switch in a Spinner then I go to my Ghost. Down side is that other Poison types will also remove Toxic Spikes but oh well, that's life.

Skarm-Annoying!
Skarmory - ??? - Impish - Leftovers
252 HP / 252 DEF / 4 SP.D
Substitute
Stealth Rock
Whirlwind
Drill Peck/Fly

Stealth Rock + Whirlwind = EPIC WIN. Also makes it a Phazer so that's a plus. I put Fly on there as an option because you don't really see moves like Thunder too often (except on Rain Dance teams) and Gust-like moves aren't that common either. Also it'll help me force the opponent to wate moves/turns which will further facilitate the stall. If they attack and miss then great, if they stat boost then I'll just WW them out and if they take the opportunity to safely switch out then that's okay too because I want them to switch...... often, so they'd actually be doing me a favor by not forcing me to use another WW.

Sub-Sand-Stall Tyrant
Tyranitar - Sandstream - Careful - Leftovers
252 HP / 128 SP.D & DEF
Substitute
Roar
Ice Punch
Crunch

Another Phazer? Yeah well that's more for getting rid of Pokemon that resist Sandstorms and less for anything else. Otherwise Sub-Stall. Ice Punch for Dragons and Crunch for STAB. Not too sure about the EV and Nature spread.... probably could've done better, but I kind of threw this one together on the fly, so that's what happens when you rush things.

Tomb of HAX
Spiritomb - Pressure - Relaxed - Leftovers
252 HP / 128 SP.D & DEF
Curse
Substitute
Protect
Pain Split

Late game Staller and Anti-Spinner. Curse can only be removed by switching so use on the opponent's last Pokemon otherwise Sub & Protect. Pain Split off damage when possible. Pressure is also great for late games because moves with limited PP are sure to run out.

Yes, five out of six pokemon are running Substitute. Why? Because it's annoying! It's really frustrating to spend an entire battle braking subs. Very annoying.... that's wht I'm going for and I think I achieved it.

Well there it is, it's not great, but at least it's a little original. I doubt it'd last long in competitive play, but at least it'll be fun to use. Let me know what you think.

It really seems like your team is at cross-purposes. On the one hand, you're trying to substall while on the other hand you're trying to go on the offensive with Rampardos. I would recommend replacing Ninjask and Rampardos with the likes of Forretress to set up spikes, Blissey for special walling, or Rotom-H for additional spinblocking since toxic spikes are crucial to your team's success right now.

A fast taunter like Gyarados or Gliscor can single handedly shut most of your team down, you could run a defensive suicune or a wishprotect vaporeon to handle these problems or alternatively run a fast taunter of your own like Gliscor.

16. Play with your team before putting it up for rate. We as a community cannot emphasize this enough. No one wants to rate the team that you freshly created while eating breakfast or the gimmick you randomly put together. We as a community want teams that have been battle tested so that the obvious flaws have been hammered out

It's obvious that you haven't tested this team. Also...

15. As a site dedicated to competitive battling, we request that your team is as competitive as possible within its given metagame. In-game teams and gimmick teams will be closed. Battle Tower teams are permitted. "Theme Teams" are also OK as long as they demonstrate an understanding of the competitive metagame they are to be used in.

There's unusual sets, and there's gimmicks. You can't be competitive with a team like this. I'm locking your thread under the aforementioned rules.
