The Powerful Little Guys [NFE Team]

This team is meant for Shoddy and is for the NFE tier.

Electabuzz (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Static
EVs: 160 Atk/252 Spd/98 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)

~ Cross Chop
~ Fire Punch
~ Ice Punch
~ Thunderbolt

Description: I chose Electabuzz for my lead because it is capable of learning a wide variety of attacks that can hit many Pokemon with supereffective damage. Having a special attack in the set allows it to do ok against physical walls. I use Lum Berry instead of Focus Sash because if I get special conditioned, the use of this Pokemon rapidly drops. It also maxes out a 339 Speed, which is higher than most other nonscarfed Pokemon in the tier. The ability Static is also useful since Paralysis can let me go first if I need to use a slower Pokemon.

Magmar (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

~ Flamethrower
~ Psychic
~ Hidden Power [Grass]
~ Focus Blast

Description: Magmar's role is a special sweeper. It has access to a lot of different attack types as well. Expert Belt compliments the ability to hit for double damage on many types. Hidden Power [Grass] is one of the best ways to KO a Rhydon. I prefer Flamethrower over Fire Blast because of the increased PP and accuracy. With Duskull being one of the best walls in NFE and having Pressure, I need to be able to damage it with stab attacks to ko it easier. Having immunity to Will O Wisp is also handy, as is its ability which may cause a burn upon contact.

Dusclops (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/172 Def/86 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)

~ Calm Mind
~ Shadow Ball
~ Rest
~ Will-o-wisp

Description: Dusknoir is set up to be a dual wall. Will-o-wisp is a great way to make physical sweepers lose their luster. Calm Mind allows me to increase my Special defense, while also making my Shadow Ball do more damage. I utilize rest over Pain Split because Duskull can take two hits from many Pokemon, especially if Calm Mind or Will-o-wisp is in play. I feel that it compliments the ability Pressure better as well. More evs are put into Defense because it makes it easier to survive a Sneasel Faint Attack or any other physical dark attack before proceding to burn them.

sneasel.png

Sneasel (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

~ Ice Punch
~ Faint Attack
~ Brick Break
~ Ice Shard

Description: Sneasel is the fastest Pokemon in the NFE tier maxing out at 361 Speed. The main role of Sneasel is a revenge killer that isn't committed to just one attack move. I like to be able to change without having to sub out. Ice Punch is the STAB move of choice since Avalanche forces the user to move second and doesn't make sense based on how frail Sneasel is. It is unable to learn Night Slash so Faint Attack was used in case I needed insurance of hitting the opponent. Brick Break is there to provide increased coverage which can affect a mirror match. I go with Jolly nature just for outspeeding the opponent. Ice Shard is a filler move that helps if they have increased their Speed or are a scarfed Pokemon.

grovyle.png

Grovyle (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

~ Swords Dance
~ Leaf Blade
~ Brick Break
~ Crunch

Description: Grovyle is used as a set up sweeper. Focus Sash was chosen as the item for it because Stealth Rock doesn't see as much play in NFE, or at least in the games I have played with it. While it may be more common to use a special sweeper set, it has no way to increase its power. With Swords Dance used its Attack goes up to 448. This makes Leaf Blade and the other attacks cause quite a bit of damage. It also outspeeds Magmar if the Magmar was weakened it may be able to finish it off.

dragonair.png

Dragonair (M) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

~ Dragon Dance
~ Dragon Rush
~ Waterfall
~ Thunder Wave

Description: Dragonair is used to clean up the remaining Pokemon. By holding a Yache Berry, it is able to get off a Dragon Dance pretty much every time if it is at or near full health. Dragon Rush was chosen over Outrage in case I wanted to use a different move and don't become bait for the move Counter. Dragon Rush does have less accuracy, but I feel the benefit of having the flinch chance makes it worth the risk. Waterfall is used over Aqua Tail so I have a reliable source of damage when needed. Thunder Wave is more useful in certain situations such as when I know I can't OHKO them before they can ko me.

I use this team pure for fun reasons and later maybe for making uTube videos. So, Rate and Improve it!

Credits: Dragon Expert for this team, i made couple of alternate teams based on this one, and they didn't work out that well. So maybe you guys can perfect this team!

Greetings,

~ Namexx

PS: Mods, please don't lock this thread, i don't harm anyone with posting an NFE RMT, do i? : / (I know it's not a metagame etc. etc.)

15. As a site dedicated to competitive battling, we request that your team is as competitive as possible within its given metagame. In-game teams and gimmick teams will be closed. Battle Tower teams are permitted. "Theme Teams" are also OK as long as they demonstrate an understanding of the competitive metagame they are to be used in.

16. Play with your team before putting it up for rate. We as a community cannot emphasize this enough. No one wants to rate the team that you freshly created while eating breakfast or the gimmick you randomly put together. We as a community want teams that have been battle tested so that the obvious flaws have been hammered out.
I understand that this team is meant for competitive uses. However, NFE isn't a metagame supported by Smogon (and you even said "(I know it's not a metagame etc. etc.)" ), and unlike VGC pretty much zero people play NFE. Therefore, have you really tested this team?

EDIT: Hmm okay so the OP claims he has battled 50+ people on WiFi with this, and went into a Pokebeach NFE tournament
