Edit: I'm not as much of an idiot now as I was before!! -11/25/2015
Hello guy! I made another team, this team actually does not have a Mega Evolution like most other team do, but it is a very effective team, and it also proves that teams don't need Megas to be good. If you don't think I tested this team well enough, let me just tell you that I used to run some weird teams that people said peaking 1450 on the ladder was good enough to post them for, and 1450 used to be my highest ever ladder rating; my current ladder rating, after effectively using this team, is 1514, and once upon a time when not a lot of people knew what this doubles team could do, I was at 1589 on the ladder.
WOBBUFFET @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
Relaxed 252HP/196Def/60SpD
Charm
Destiny Bond
Tickle
EncoreSo for Wobbuffet I sort of used Gothitelle at first. It hit (not hard) and did some things that Wobbuffet could not do, like set up Trick Room, but it was lacking in bulk, and aside from setting up Trick Room it did exactly what I wanted Wobbuffet to do. So, for extra bulk and being better at the job overall, I chose Wobbuffet. Charm, while I do have Tickle, does lower the attack stat more than Tickle does, but Tickle is better used to lower defense as well. Encore, in tandem with Trick Room, ensures that your opponent can literally do nothing. Go ahead and watch as the opponent's Scrafty uses Fake Out. And they use it again. And again.... Then Destiny Bond is there if you are scared that you won't survive much longer.
JELLICENT @ Rindo Berry
Ability: Water Absorb
Quiet 252HP/180SpA/76SpD
Trick Room
Water Spout
Psychic
RecoverSo why am I not running Will-o-Wisp? Doesn't that make me weak to Mega Kangaskhan? Well, believe it or not, I am running the ultimate Mega Kangaskhan counter: Spiritomb. Let's get into that later, now we can worry about Jellicent. Trick Room is obvious, Water Spout does a huge amount of damage at full health, Psychic makes Jellicent a legitimate check to most Fighting types, and Recover is obvious as well.
SCRAFTY @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Brave 140HP/252Atk/116Def
Fake Out
Quick Guard
Drain Punch
CrunchI used Crunch over Knock Off for obvious reasons (it was illegal with the moves/ability I was running), but it provided a Dark STAB for the team. Drain Punch kept Scrafty healthy and did some physical damage, Fake Out helped seal the Trick Room, and Quick Guard defended me from Thundurus/Sableye/some Meowstic/Talonflame. Lum Berry allowed me to not be Will-o-Wisp'd the first time, which is very important since there is little physical prowess on this team, and Scrafty is the biggest physical threat on my team.
POLITOED @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Drizzle
Modest 4HP/76Def/252SpA/176Spe
Surf
Scald
Ice Beam
EncoreI am using Politoed because the rain support really helps when I want to do a Jellicent Water Spout sweep, as I really can do that against a lot of teams. Surf provided another water spread as well as more recovery for Jellicent, my only Trick Room setter. Scald does a great amount of single-targeting damage, as well as having a nice burn chance, Ice Beam is pretty much a needed move, as it removes so many threats, such as Landorus and Salamence. Encore is pretty much just there to encore.
FERROTHORN @ RockyHelmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
Relaxed 100Atk/156Def/252SpD
Power Whip
Gyro Ball
Protect
Leech SeedSo Ferrothorn didn't start out like this. It was originally a Ferroseed (I saw this troll team consisting of a Leech Seed Ferroseed in Singles Ubers, and I was fascinated by how it got half HP from a Leech Seed on a Giratina)(Don't use Ferroseed), then it became a Ferrothorn, and that Ferrothorn had a completely different niche that I was hoping to use but instead completely failed at exploiting. But now, this Ferrothorn carries Power Whip and Gyro Ball as two powerful STAB attacks, Protect is obvious, and Leech Seed was great in tandem with Wobbuffet. I ran 0 HP so that I could be bulky on both defenses while getting the maximum percentage of HP back with Leech Seed.
SPIRITOMB @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Infiltrator
Brave 252HP/88Atk/164Def/4SpD
Will-o-Wisp
Taunt
Sucker Punch
Pain SplitBelieve it or not but Spiritomb was originally a Hydreigon. That meant that 2 of my Pokemon were 4x weak to fairy. Now I still have 2 weaknesses to fairy, but it is not as drastic, and before I started using Spiritomb my team was incredibly weak to not only fairies, but also Mega Kangaskhan.
So, why Spiritomb? Why not Sableye, the weak Prankster abuser? Well, Spiritomb has 3 immunities as well as an actual offensive prowess. NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT SPIRITOMB IS BULKIER THAN ROTOM, but just an idea. Spiritomb is also immune to PuP and Return/Fake Out/Return/Double Edge/Seismic Toss, and 3 status moves means that I can avoid Sucker Punch. Pretty nice thing, Spiritomb is, to be bulkier than Rotom and completely wall Kangaskhan.
Will-o-Wisp is very annoying, hitting Kangaskhan, Mawile (in Trick Room), and Lucario very easily, which are all very threatening to this team. Taunt+Infiltrator gets through Thundurus's and Whimsicott's Substitute, which I have been seeing a lot more lately. Sucker Punch, with the 88Atk EVs, does at least 70% to non-bulky Latias (which are highly unlikely; I use it more for Latios, which it does at least 75% to), and Pain Split was just an all around amazing move.

If I lead Scrafty and Jellicent, I can easily Fake Out the most threatening Pokemon on the field (well, most threatening to Jellicent) and then Trick Room. If they have some pretty speedy Pokemon, then I can easily switch in Politoed and do a good Water Spout Sweep with a good Rain Surf in the background dealing good damage to the opponent while also healing Jellicent. This is a great strategy for climbing the ladder.
Another good lead that I can run is Scrafty+Politoed
+
If I lead Scrafty and Politoed, I get a powerful lead, as I have a Choice Scarf on Politoed and can deal a massive amount of damage to opposing Pokemon, not to mention the fact that Scrafty provides Fake Out support and Quick Guard, which gets rid of the nuisance named Talonflame. Jellicent can also switch in very easily and set up Trick Room if that is how the game has to be played out in order for it to be won.
Another good lead that I can run is Wobbuffet+Scrafty/Ferrothorn/Spiritomb

If I can correctly predict that they will lead doubles physical, then I can end up getting Trick Room up very easily. Wobbuffet just sits there and Charms the physical lead, and they can't even switch out. You can go three ways with the second Pokemon: Scrafty is only good if there is no Defiant, Ferrothorn is only good if there is no Grass Physical, and Spiritomb can be used at any time, but Mawile and Azumarill threaten it, so if they are there then it is safer to lead with Ferrothorn. After they have minimized attack stats, you can switch out Wobbuffet's partner for Jellicent (it will easily shrug off that damage), and the next turn you can switch out Wobbuffet or keep it in, depending on what you want to do. This allows for an easy Trick Room set up while also allowing for Ferrothorn to Leech Seed opponents to death if it wants.
The last non-situational lead that I can run is Jellicent+Spiritomb
+
Okay this is kind of situational. This strategy is only if they have Lati@s, Gengar, or another Ghost/Pokemon that commonly runs Ghost moves. Jellicent will switch to Wobbuffet turn one if they lead with that Pokemon, while Spiritomb uses Sucker Punch. Wobbuffet should more than likely survive the hit that it takes (even if it is super effective) and then it can freely do what it wants to the other Pokemon the next turn, while that threatening Pokemon can't switch out due to Shadow Tag unless it is actually a Ghost. This is extremely situational, and Sucker Punch is easily going to do a ton of damage, probably getting an OHKO on the opposing Pokemon.
How did I get Here?
Well, this is going to be a new section for my RMTs in the future. I really don't want to share the story of how this team got to where it is now because it is LONG AF.

I hope you guys like the RMT, my next RMT will be a ton of Slow Pokemon w/o Trick Room ;)
