Hi everyone, back here with another team to upload here! This time, I've got a hazard stack team that not only is fun(wow) but also really rewarding to use. This team got me back from the 1400s to the 1800s.

If you finished reading this, thanks a lot for that. Hope you have some success laddering alongside the eventual thanksgivings holiday!
The Last Ronin (
) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 184 HP / 140 Atk / 100 SpD / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ceaseless Edge
- Razor Shell
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
This guy here was the first team member, and the one I wanted to build around. I've always heard that the Assault Vest was amazing on it, but I could never find a spread that worked out. Now, I've finally found something that I really enjoy. The EVs are complicated, but that's the fun part of teambuilding right? Anyways,
with this spread can now survive
Focus Blast , outspeed uninvested
, and still hit as hard as
usually do with max Atk Jolly. I used Sucker Punch as some strong priority, since Aqua Jet was probably too weak in general, and hitting
a little harder is nice. Tera Poison is nice vs
, and gives an immunity to Toxic Spikes. Generally, you use this vs something like
, force them out to use Ceaseless Edge, then maybe use Knock Off to really ruin someone's day. An amazing teammate, thanks for reminding me this set exists Ausma!
THE THUNDERBOLT (
) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Thunderclap
- Volt Switch
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder Wave
Yeah I know I didn't give this doofus Thunderbolt but whatever. Use this guy to take advantage of spikes, and chip down checks like
. It's really satisfying using Draco Meteor, and just obliterating some poor
. Thunder Wave is sort of niche, but hear me out. When you force switches like
does, they either go to a ground type(which gets hit with Draco Meteor), or just naturally tanky guys like
, and get crippled with Thunder Wave. It also synergizes with my other teammates. Pretty standard overall otherwise, so treat this goober like a pivot, and Volt Switch into oblivion.
Objective:Spin (
) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Headlong Rush
- Ice Spinner
- Rapid Spin
- Close Combat
This guy is here for pure removal, and also to hit hard, which is a nice side bonus. Originally, it was just a Rocky Helmet set with Stealth Rock, but after some team adjustments, I find this set to be really nice, as it just does what
is good at: spinning and hitting. Booster Energy makes
an even bigger threat, since it can just break anything with enough prediction and hazards. Close Combat is here for
and
, which otherwise are difficult to deal with. Tera Fire is just nice to not have to deal with burns, as well as another fairy resist. Use this big boy how you feel, cuz it puts in work regardless.
Tusk Buster (
) (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip
- Trailblaze
- Play Rough
is here to take even more advantage of hazards, and to just be a nice ground and water buster. Trailblaze is super cool, since it lets this gremlin spiral out of control sometimes, especially with Tera. Play Rough is mandatory against
, plus having good coverage against the metagame is nice as well. Adamant is here for the extra power, since Trailblaze alleviates the speed issue. Nothing can really wall this fella with hazards, but it also really hates hazards, so keep
healthy until it's time to spin.
THE FIRE GOAT (
) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 156 Def / 64 SpD / 40 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
is the newest member on this team, but it is the biggest carry against stall teams, so it always has a spot. Running a mixed investment, since the main things you need to take physically, is done fine enough. The Phys Def investment is to survive a +2 Protosynthesis Knock Off from
, which is amazing to have 2 chances to burn it. Speed investment is for Adamant
, since out speeding Jolly
isn't all that necessary with the team, so I decided to just put the rest of the EVs into SpD, since
can maintain some hit taking. Tera Ghost is the selling point here, as it'll beat
overtime with Magma Storm chip, Flame Body activation, and using Taunt just in case. Magma Storm is great, as while its accuracy is complete cheeks, trapping a
and killing it with Tera Ghost and Taunt is super satisfying. This guy is also your Stealth Rock user, since it can terrify any potential switch ins. This slot originally was a
, which could be used if you really hate
, but it was also weaker into
and
, so take that as you well.
Heart of Gold (
) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
- Trick
- Hex
is the speed control for the team, and an excellent way of crippling stall. Trick is used for an incoming
or just any mons like them, and mess them up heavily. Hex is a nice option, combing well with
and
, so it can eventually dominate through sheer power. Tera Ghost is used not only to jack up Hex to godly levels, but also still keep spin blocking duty against
. You could use Focus Blast, but honestly you don't need to, since my team is very well stacked against those targets.
Ability: Sharpness
