The Rise of Non Weather?

Well, I've been lurking around at a lot of the team building going on in ou, and I've always been a person who really doesn't want to run weather, just because it seems if you run weather, then you get hated on. So, after lurking at a lot of the teams, I've been readjusting this team to fit the not-so ever changing ou metagame, so, without further delay, let's begin.

NOTE: I don't really like all the pizzazz that people do with pictures, I personally think its a waste of time, so, I will apologize if it is easier for you to see what my team consists of with pictures than without.

Deoxys-S @ Life Orb
Pressure
244 HP, 12 Attack, 252 Speed
Jolly
Superpower
Taunt
Spikes
Stealth Rock

This is my main lead. If I see that they have a Tyranitar in their team, I'm going to lead with deoxys, just so I can get the kill with superpower. If I see that they don't have t-tar, I can at least get my rocks up. Most people won't lead with a scarfer, so I'll safely be able to get something up. I will most likely either outspeed or speed tie other deoxys-s, so, if they lead with that, I'll go to one of my other team members to take the taunt.

Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf
Levitate
32 HP, 252 Sp ATK, 224 Speed
Modest
Hidden Power (grass)
Thunderbolt
Volt Switch
Hydro Pump

My stall killer. Basically, what rotom is meant to do is either trick a scarf on a wall, get their leftovers, and have some decent recovery going on, or, it tricks a scarf onto an offensive poke, get their life orb, and then switch to something to take the next attack. Hidden power grass is for gastrodon's who think they can switch into rotom-w and take nothing from its attacks, Thunderbolt and hydro pump are main stabs. Thunderbolt because of me seriously lacking against SubDDGyara, and volt switch incase I really need to do some scouting (partly because I never look at team preview)

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Water Absorb
Bold
248 Hp/ 216 Def/ 44 Spe
Scald
Toxic
Taunt
Recover

My team was really lacking against volcarona with HP rock, so, my solution to this is jellicent. With my rocks and spikes support, I really also needed something to make sure those don't get spun away. Jellicent covers up my volcarona weakness, beats fighting types that can take out everybody else with their ice moves, and also can be a great stallbreaker with taunt.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Multiscale
Adamant
252 Hp, 44 Atk, 212 Speed
Dragon Dance
Roost
Dragon Claw
Fire Punch

My late game attack taker. What dragonite is meant to do is send it in on something that can't take it, roost off the stealth rock damage(if there is any, if not, I usually DD), then proceed to take the incoming attack, DD again, which pretty much guarantees me to outspeed everything bar scarfed base 101 +speed natured pokemon (cough landorus cough), then proceed to go for either Dragon claw or Fire punch.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Serene Grace
Careful
252 HP, 224 Sp Def, 32 Speed
Iron head
Body Slam
Wish
Protect

Jirachi is meant to be my counter to latios. Barring the HP fire, Jirachi can take its attacks all day, paralyze with body slam, and start haxing to death with iron head. Latios was really a big threat to this team, so jirachi really does fill the void of not being able to really do much against it. Plus Iron head and body slam can be a really big annoyance to anybody who faces this team.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Poison Heal
Impish
252 Hp, 174 defense, 84 speed
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Protect
Toxic

My main physical wall. Gliscor is meant to stay out there long and be annoyer. With toxic and protect, most pokes won't want to stay in for very long. The reason why I have toxic on Gliscor is for the walls like jellicent, which, if dragonite is gone, I really can't do much against anyways.

Well, that's my team in a nutshell. As I stated, I am open to all Criticism, because I really am not the greatest team builder at all. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope that you can help me.

I'll add in the pictures later.

Hello and welcome to Smogon.

First of all. PUT PICTURES! They make the RMT look just that much more appealing to the eye :P

First of all, your Jirachi is very gimmicky. I noticed that you said Gyarados is your only answer to Latios. Thats not a good answer at all. Latios is going to run you over regardless. Instead, why don't you use a specially defensive Jirachi? It can't even be 2HKOd by Specs Meteor and can heal your teammates as well. It also acts as a check to Reuniclus.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Serene Grace
Careful
252 Hp/ 224 SpD/ 32 Spe
Iron Head
Body Slam
Wish
Protect

Second of all, one of Rotom-W's most important roles is checking Rain. Rain has recently come up with a way to get around Rotom-W: SubDDGyara, who can just Substitute as you Volt Switch, DD/ Kill the next, get itself to +6, then finish of Rotom-W. HP Grass is only used for 1 pokemon anyways. Might as well replace it with Thunderbolt to get around SubDDGyara. Its also a great move for late game cleaning.

Finally, Gyarados isn't doing much for your team. Your team absolutely despises Volcorona with HP Rock, Gliscor isn't that great a way to deal with fighting types considering how many of them have Ice moves, and you don't want your hard earned spikes/ stealth rocks to be ruined by a Forretress/ Starmie do you? I suggest a Jellicent in its place, who blocks spin, beats Volcorona and fighting types that don't run dark moves, and is also a decent stallbreaker with Taunt. This gives you the option of not running Trick on Rotom-W and going with Thunderbolt and HP Grass.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Water Absorb
Bold
248 Hp/ 216 Def/ 44 Spe
Scald
Toxic
Taunt
Recover

Where are the natures for Dragonite through Gliscor? And I feel this team will be a little troubled by a CS / UC Jellicent. Other than that, I really don't see any problems. I'm not very good at team buliding either.

All right, first things first. You said you're looking for something to replace Gyarados with that can take on Lati@s and do I have Pokemon for you. Using Scizor over Gyarados could provide you with a much needed Lati@s check, as it laughs at Draco Meteors and proceeds to destroy/set up. A set like:

Scizor @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 240HP/ 52Atk/ 216SpD
Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
-Pursuit
-U-Turn
-Bullet Punch
-Roost

Another thing to note is that you're using a Jirachi as a Special attacking revenge killer. That's not exactly Jirachi's best role in this Metagame. I think you could make really good use of a Starmie in this slot, as it will provide not only the EXACT same coverage as your Jirachi, but with better speed and special attack. A set of:

Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4HP/ 252SpA/ 252Spd
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
-Rapid Spin
-Ice Beam
-Hydro Pump
-Thunderbolt

This Starmie will allow you to reliably revenge kill a lot of the Metagame, spin away hazards, and also provide an excellent check to rain teams, something that you are currently lacking, outside of Rotom-W. You may want to run Hidden Power Grass over Ice Beam, to shit on Gastrodons, as HP Grass does more damage to them than Grass Knot does. At the same time, you may want to keep Ice Beam, as you have a number of other checks to Gastro on your team. Overall, solid team. GLB.

Howard? Whats with your Scizor set? That thing can't hit anything hard, and isn't taking any hits either because you're going to kill yourself with weak life orb boosted Bullet Punches. You absolutely need Swords Dance for that set to properly function. Scizor isn't that bad a suggestion itself though. But if you decide you want to give Scizor a test, definately use this following set instead.

Scizor @ Leftovers
Technician
Adamant
252 Hp/ 40 Atk/ 216 SpD
Swords Dance
Bullet Punch
Bug Bite
Roost

Much more reliable for checking Latios, Reuniclus, Virizion and crew. Also can pull off an endgame Bullet Punch sweep.

Alright, thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'll be sure to test these out on PO, then decide what changes need to be made. I'm primarily a wi-fi player, so, this was the team I've been using for a while now. Also, sorry for not posting some of the natures, I was in a rush to do this.
