the pam anderson roast was really good, as was the william shatner one. little surprised that bob sagat is getting one.
 
Eh, it seems that people in need of a career pick up usually do one.

I might watch though. A couple of the members of full house should be coming iirc.

Bob Saget is a huge name in the comedy community. He's been a standup for about 20 years.

I don't like the roasts these days. I've watched the OLD Friar's Club Roasts, back in the 60s/70s, and those were the SHIT.
 
Only one I have watched was Pamela Anderson's...yeah, I don't really have much access to Comedy Central, or any other channel that airs it.

Vh1 randomly put hers up.
 
I know there was a Jeff Foxworthy one, but I definitely didn't bother watching that.

One late night I stumbled upon Flavor Flaves though, it had its moments but wasn't great. Mostly when people pointed out his transition from Public Enemy to whatever he's doing now

Uhhh, yeah man. That's when they started. Haven't you seen the infomercials with Don Rickles? You can find the DVDs easily.

The sole fact that they roasted Flavor FUCKING Flave shows how far they've fallen.
 
I've seen a handful of them, and some of them are pretty good.

The last one I saw was Gene Simmons. It was meh. And the one with Flava Flav just sucked. Pam Anderson one was great and so was Shatner. I've seen a few others that I can't recall.

Bob Saget should be hilarious.
 
Dm is right. Any series that feels the need to roast that monument to humanity known as flava flave needs to stop back and reconsider themselves. That man roasts himself, nevermind having others do it for him.

I'd watch one of a celebrity with a big ego problem, like Angelia Jolie or something. Someone who thinks they are hot shit and might not take the jokes as well.
 
I really enjoyed the Dennis Leary one--a celebrity with a huge ego problem. Will shatner's was good, but i don't think deserved, as he's the shit.

Bob Saget though. I've seen his latest televised comedy, and he really does deserve to be roasted. I'll be tuning it, or TiVo will, rather!
