The was a team I made in blind inspiration after I started to look at more underrated tanks like Cress, Gliscor, Swampert, and Zapdos. Dispite me I choose not Cress because I could never get it to work with my team. After several battles I felt like it could do better but that I could not figure out what to do so mabye RMT could. Without futher ado heres the team.
Lucky Star (Jirachi) @Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP, 252 Att, 176 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- U-Turn
- Trick
The Standard Lead Jirachi. I always use a trick lead because I love the ability to stop so many common leads. Iron Head 2HKOs Azelf and Aerodactyl and with the 60 percent flinch rate they often do not get any rocks up. Machamp's die to have themselves locked into any single move. Same with most other leads not named anything like Heatran and Gliscor, the former can really use a scarf in the later game. Thusly I had to choose a strong Heatran and Gliscor counter. So the next poke is....
Marsh Monster (Swampert) @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP, 40 Def, 216 SpD
Nature: Careful
- Curse
- EarthQuake
- Rest
- Waterfall/ Avalanche
A very standard CursePertset. I have yet to choose which one would better fit me, a move to kill Gliscor badly with avalache or Waterfall for TormenTran. Any feedback on that choice is well needed. CursePert is mainly here to scare sway all forms of heatran omit HP Grass ones, but it also has great Synergy with other Pokes on my team such as Zapdos and Gliscor. His grass only weakness is very much needed as the rest of my team loves all of the switches it forces on so many boosters like some Infernape.
Bad Hair Day Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP, 36 Spe, 236 SpD
Nature: Calm
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- HP Ice
- Roost
Zapdos is mainly here because this is what I wanted to build my team around. The moveset may be usually from the looks of it but if you have ever looked at the three balls in the Tri-Attack ring you see they are Fire, Ice, and Electicity, designed to give you perfect coverage. While Lantern now resists all of this I wanted to also to give a shoutout to the three old birds too. The EV's are for a standard specially Defensive Zapdos.
Swooper (Gliscor) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP, 40 Att, 216 Spe
Nature: Jolly
- EarthQuake
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Aerial Ace
A standard dancing tank Gliscor. I run this set to have another non HP Ice Heatran and Lucario revenge killer. Sand Veil is there for mainly the abundance of Sandstorm in OU. I come in to revenge sooooo many steels, usually see a switch coming and swords dance and KO the switch in unless it is that son of a bitch Starmie. Oh how I hate you starmie. Back to the pokemon it always does its job, which is to force swithces and kill steels.

Baked Bread (Rotom-H)@ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP, 168 Def, 88 Spe
Nature: Bold
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Pain Split
Standard Rotom-H expect with pain split for recovery. I ran Rotom-F for the BolBeam combo, but hated the accuracy of it so I choose standard Rotom. I love this thing. Although my team is for tanking-ish it loves to get down the rocks Jirachi gives it and this functions as a great spin blocker and it just a great Pokemon overall. I feel that on a tanking team it needs no real reason to need an explation to be here. It kicks/burns ass. TTar comes in and it loves to be burned, especially scarftar with what little attack it has available to it. Scizor will also go out of its way to be burned.
Now here is where I need help. I have no final poke. I ran Hippodown here for a while, but it screams I am stalling have fun and it takes away all of Gliscors element of suprise whish is loves sooooo much. I also ran Cress, and Tentacruel here for awhile but never fell in love with them on the team. Tentacruel also screams stall and Cress has trouble to recover health without using rest talk. I ran some wierd Luc sets but I hate 252 252 sets and never found a pokemon that I liked here. I am currently testing a Blissey here.
Any and All rates are needed thanks
Threat List (being Updated always)
Swampert- I have no effect way to kill this guy, he just sits there and walls me
Umbreon- I hate you, and I cannot kill you, esp. Cursebreon
