Herro, Smogon. This is MetaSkipper, and this is my first RMT. I've done a lot with this team, so I won't bore you with the team history. I've had some success, and some failure with this team. I'd like to see if this team can be improved, and thus, my team.

Snapback (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SDef / 8 Spd
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Roar
Rocker and Phazer. I've never not gotten Stealth Rock up, and I can usually Roar one or two Pokemon around on a switch before having to switch myself. It also functions as one of my special walls, and takes any fire attacks aimed at Scizor. Lava Plume gets STAB and a nice burn chance. Rocks is rocks. Protect helps me survive otherwise 2HKOs and chip away with burn. Roar spreads the rocks damage around, and sometimes let me trap important pokes with Wobbuffet.

Hadouken (Vaporeon) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spd
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Roar
The other special tank, and my preferred answer to Politoad, Vap also wish passes. In a pinch, I'll try to burn and stall out the last few pokes on the other guy's team. Wish and protect keep Vappy alive, as well as allow for wish passed. Scald gets STAB and burn chance, and Roar keeps that rocks goin' round. In short, its Heatran for things Heatran doesn't like.

Shoryuken (Salamence) @ Dragon Fang
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 64 Atk / 192 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Outrage
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
Heatran, as it turns out, doesn't like Earthquakes. Salamence, as it turns out, doesn't really care about Earthquakes. It happily comes in on an EQ, and whacks things around a bit. Outrage and Draco Meteor get STAB, boosted by Dragon Fang. Fire Blast whacks the ever scary Genesect, Scizor, and Forretress. Earthquake scares away Heatrans. I've come to really dislike Life Orb recoil, and Outrage and DM don't really hit things super effectively, so I've been turned off from Expert Belts.

X Factor (Haxorus) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
The other dragon on this team has a very simple modus operandi: Boost and kill. Often coming in after one of my pokes goes down, it boosts, either taking a hit or on the switch, then kills stuff. I'll DD if something on the other team would otherwise outspeed, otherwise I'll SD. After that, Outrage kills a lot of things. Earthquake's there if I don't want to get locked in quite yet. Lum Berry lets me take one status move, or do two Outrages in a row.

DHC (Scizor) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Priority and scarves. Two things my sweepers so far REALLY doesn't like. Scizor happily gets rid of these things with little problem. U-turn helps scout switches and still hurts. Bullet punch beats those scarfers. Superpower hurts, and pursuit helps catch fleeing psychics. I've considered switching to Life Orb, but since Scizor needs to stay around, the recoil is less then appealing.

Counter Hit (Wobbuffet) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shadow Tag
EVs: 28 HP / 252 Def / 228 SDef
Bold Nature
- Counter
- Mirror Coat
- Encore
- Destiny Bond
Every now and again, I end up Roaring in something that looks important. A sweeper, a wall breaker, something that I don't want around. Then I absolutely need that one thing gone, Wobbuffet is the Poke of choice. I've learned to almost always Encore, after countering one too many set up moves. If I encore a set up move, I either switch to Vappy or Heatran and Roar it away, or switching in Haxorus and set up myself before swinging away. If I Encore an attack or I suspect a Choice, I Counter or Mirror Coat as appropriate. The last move, I rarely touch. I've run Safeguard, Destiny Bond, even Splash, the choice has made little difference so far.
And such is my team. I've had problems with Rain, and especially Thunder, since no one on my team likes taking it.
