The sunlight turned harsh! (B/W OU)

A small foreword:

I've been bouncing around forums and battling for quite a while now, making teams and having a moderate success.
I'm by no means a top battler, but i have managed to conscruct this sun team here, which i think is the
best i have managed so far and also very fun to play with.

Ninetales (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SAtk / 20 SDef / 108 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Flamethrower
- Sunny Day
- SolarBeam

Ninetales is my standard lead except vs other weather teams, i chose sub+sunny day to be able to resummon the sun (thats
what ninetales is there for anyway) when opposing weather starters switch in, then threaten them with solarbeam
(or abomasnow with fthrower),
i picked sub so i can use sunny day more safely (ninetales would lose 1/4hp from coming into SR anyway so that 1/4 might
as well be used for extra shield

Ev's are for max punch + to outspeed all non-choiced politoed/tar/hippo/aboma rest into bulk

Infernape (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Close Combat
- Overheat/Stone Edge?
- U-turn/Stone Edge?
- Flamethrower/Stone Edge?

Infernape is my revenge killer, wallbreaker (with stab+sun boost overheat), late game sweeper (with fthrower,
once major fire resists are down) looking to include Stone Edge as volc and offensive Dnite are giving me troubles

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sunny Day
- Lava Plume/Flamethrower/Fire Blast?
- SolarBeam
- Earth Power

Heatran serves the same role as ninetales, to draw out opposing weather leads and summon sun in their face
except tran has insanely higher offensive presence plus it can weaken them enough for ninetales to finish them. Considering
switching lava plume to fthrower or even fire blast, but
i feel the burn rate has served me better so far, any suggestions on this?

Dragonite (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- ExtremeSpeed
- Dragon Claw
- Superpower
- Fire Punch

Dnite cuz he patches most weaknesses sun oriented poke's have fire/earth/water,

Dclaw for usual stab attack/ sun boosted fpunch to hit steels who resist Dclaw/ ES for revenging/ superpower to punch
through bliss/chansey/porygon2/tar and what have you

EV's for max speed and power (i used to run a mixed set with 0 speed EV's but a lot of random ice beams took him down so
i switched for a faster spread and its working great

Lilligant (F) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Healing Wish
- Petal Dance
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Lilligant plays similar to infernape, her speed and sp attack both around 550 shes no slouch :P

Petal Dance is like a grass version of outrage, take out major resist and then clean the opposing team
Giga drain to heal or when im not ready to lock myself into petal dance yet/hp fire for coverage/ healing wish allows me
to heal an important member if lilligant has done its job or is about to faint

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Brave Bird/Drill Peck?
- Roost
- Whirlwind

little odd choice for sun team, skarm is to take physical hits as the rest of team struggles a bit with them (landorus,
Dnite without fire attacks, terrakion, machamp, conk, breloom if sleep clause is active and the list goes on and on...) :P

opting for Drill peck over Brave bird, this would allow skarm to kill offensive volc whos trying to setup on his face (as long as
sturdy isnt broken)

the EV's and moveset are tried and true so i wont go into more detail with them.

Threats:

Like i mentioned earlier:
Quiver dance volc
Dnite with good coverage (as in skarm or tran cant tank it)

Pretty cool team, I like your spin on Lilligant, especially when you've got so many Fire-types eliminating it's troubles. You're on the right track wanting Stone Edge on Infernape; I think it over Flamethrower is the best replacement. IMO you are stretching Ape a bit too thin role-wise, trying to make it a revenge killer and lategame sweeper. If you ditch this latter role, Flamethrower will be unneeded, and the benefits are big: as you mention, a Volcarona and Dragonite answer. I would also look in to using a Hasty nature; Ape's SDef isn't the best, but it can take a 4x resisted Bug Buzz a little better with a neutral nature.

This team is in serious trouble from Terrakion, who can easily switch in on Ninetales' Flamethrower and OHKO it with Stone Edge before wreaking hell on high water for your team. Infernape is in danger too, for Stone Edge takes it out as well. I strongly suggest you consider a check for it.

Cool team man!

I like how you've used Lilligant, Healing Wish has some awesome utility. The first threat I see is Dragon Spam teams. They don't even need Magnezone because their Fire-type attacks are boosted enough to KO Skarmory. Earthquake is a common attack on these Dragons which can swiftly take out Heatran. I suggest running Hidden Power Ice on Infernape. I believe a good moveset would be:

- Close Combat
- Overheat
- U-turn
- Hidden Power Ice

Hidden Power Ice takes the place of Stone Edge, it seems HP Ice would hit all targets stronger than Stone Edge. Also another thing to think about is trying Fire Blast over Overheat, while the accuracy drop stinks Fire Blast could allow Infernape to clean up late-game with it's Sun boost and Choice Scarf. I also highly suggest running a variant of Multiscale Dragonite. Multiscale is a huuuuge bonus for Dragonite and really turns it into a top tier machine. The set I suggest is:

Dragonite (F) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Fire Punch
- Extremespeed

This set is killer! It sets up on tons of different mons and, especially in sun, tears teams apart. It would really benefit both your Infernape and Lilligant support. Infernape can eliminate opposing physical walls with its powerful special Fire attacks, and Lilligant can use Healing Wish to give it another chance at sweeping.

My second suggestion is running a Special Defensive Heatran over your current set. The set I suggest is:

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 100 SDef / 160 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Toxic

This set stops most all Volcarona cold. Between it and Dragonite Volcarona shouldn't be much trouble at all. The Speed EVs allow Heatran to outspeed all Scizor variants, as well as outpace Modest Magnezone. Now I know you've already got a Stealth Rock layer but I'm gunna get to that.

I recommend switching Stealth Rock for Spikes on Skarmory. Small thing but I think it would help. Anyway I hope you try these changes.

Good Luck!
