Hello guys! This is my second OU team I've put together that revolves around Mega Charizard Y. Bold is used to mark changes. I wanted try out Dual Weather out and Tyrantiar was the first thing that came to mind. These are the changes I made from my previous MegaZardY team: Tyrantiar - Garchomp, Latias - Sylveon, Landorus - Mandibuzz.
Suggestions are welcome. I'm trying to actually create this team IRL on my cartridge so I would like to know if I need to consider some other pokes before committing towards IV breeding / EV training.

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SpAtk / 4 Def
Nature: Hasty
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Earthquake
- Roost
My non-choice special sweeper. This set is meant to take advantage of the massive Special Attack that Mega Evolution grants. Fire Blast is the primary STAB and allows to blow holes in the other team to Pokemon that don't resist Fire. Solarbeam will hit bulky Water-types that will switch in to absorb a Fire Blast, such as Vaporeon or Politoed. Roost for some recovery if he’s taken some hits or switched in while Stealth Rock was up. Lastly, Earthquake kills Heatran.

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Fire Blast
- Crunch
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake / Stone Edge?
Fire Blast is to KO bulky Steel-types, such as Skarmory, Scizor, and Ferrothorn, that Tyranitar lures out. Crunch is Tyranitar's Dark-type STAB move of choice, and hits Psychic-types such as Latias and Latios as well as Gengar. Ice Beam keeps Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Hippowdon from completely walling Tyranitar and prevents Garchomp from switching in freely but Stone Edge can be used as a Rock-type STAB move to OHKO Talonflame, Mega Charizard Y. Decisions...

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpDef
Nature: Adamant
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-turn
Scizor is a great Choice Banded user, mainly because of it's typing, attack stat, and access to useful moves. U-turn gains momentum in the form of switch advantage, and works nicely with Scizor's low Speed stat. Bullet Punch allows Scizor to pick off Pokemon like Terrakion, Latios, and Gengar. Superpower offers coverage for Scizor, as it hits Steel types like Magnezone and Heatran for super effective damage, who would otherwise wall this set. Pursuit allows Scizor to trap Pokemon like Celebi, Latios, and Starmie, eliminating them from the game completely.

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability:Justifed
EVs: 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
IVs: 30 HP / 30 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpAtk / 30 SpDef / 31 Spd
Nature: Timid
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power (Flying)
- Icy Wind
Keldeo is one of the most powerful special attackers when you slap on some specs. Hydro Pump is very powerful STAB and strikes through stuff that doesn't resist it. Secret Sword is for Chansey and Blissey and is also STAB. Hidden Power Flying is for Mega-Venusaur. Icy Wind fills the last slot so that Keldeo always has good coverage with which to hit Latios and Latias and to slow down faster threats, such as Starmie and Tornadus. Timid is to outrun Terrakion as they normally run Adamant. 252 SpAtk is for power.

Latias @ Life Orb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Roost
- Defog
Due to having good bulk, a good set of resistances, and above-average offensive presence, Latias is one of the best offensive Defog users in the metagame. While Latios has even more offensive presence than Latias, Latias has higher bulk and thus the ability to come in safely on more threats than Latios, making it a more consistent Defog user. Draco Meteor is Latias's primary STAB attack, and is a great nuke capable of OHKOing many offensive threats, including Landorus, Keldeo, and Thundurus. Psyshock serves as a secondary STAB attack, hitting Mega Venusaur and Fighting-types such as Conkeldurr, Terrakion, and Breloom for super effective damage. Roost gives Latias reliable recovery, making it able to switch into threats such as Landorus, Keldeo, and Mega Charizard Y multiple times.

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
Landorus-T has access to Stealth Rock, enabling it to set up a key entry hazard for teams in need of support throughout the entire match. Earthquake is Landorus-T's primary STAB option and hits opposing Pokemon hard, even without investment. U-turn gives Landorus-T the ability to work as an effective pivot, scouting potential switch-ins and creating momentum for its teammates. Knock Off is an excellent support move, removing items such as Skarmory's Leftovers, Chansey's Eviolite, and Choice Scarf from some opposing checks, while potentially 2HKOing other would-be checks such as Trevenant, Bronzong, and Gourgeist-S.
