I am proud to announce - The SUUberbowl 2025! a tournament where we bring top talent from smogon into the Ubers UU community to throw down and experience top level gameplay. The tournament begins on April 21st, 2025

The tournament will be a double-elimination, 24 person bracket in a best of 3 format. Qualifications for the SUUberbowl will come in 3 rounds:

1. I invite 8 amazing players. Current invitees include: ausma, baconeatinassassin, Empo, Finchinator, Pinkacross, Fc and shiloh.
2. One team of 4 players will qualify through the Ubers UU Clan wars, starting now! View the thread here. Clan wars will finish on March 23rd.
3. 12 players will qualify via the ladder rush (a ladder tour), from March 24th through April 20th. View the thread here.

In this thread we will announce prize pots (we are accepting donations!), new invited players, and the list of those who qualified. Any questions about the overall format of the event can also be asked here.

There is a starting prize pool of $600 going to the winner of the SUUberbowl, and we are accepting donations! Matches for the main bracket will make it onto the Ubers UU Youtube Channel
