The Team (Please RMT!)

This is my main team on shoddy, I have been using for a while. It has won me a lot of battles, but I feel it needs something else, a bit of fixing up. So RMT and tell me what to do.

Stealthy Aerodactyl

Aerodactyl @ Focas Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Jolly nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake

This is my lead pokemon. Aerodactyl has been my lead for a long time now in D/P and in Shoddy. Usually it can set up a stealth rock, and even take down 1-2 pokemon. Its strong attack never lets me down. Usually I use stealth rock, then I use Ice Fang or Earthquake, it depends on the foe's pokemon.

Revenge Scout Scizor

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Super Power
- U-Turn

My Revenge Killer AND Scout. When I send Scizor out, I usually use U-Turn to scout out what the foe will use and if he/she has a counter. Other times when it is down to the grid, I will bullet punch the heck out of the opponents pokemon untill I win! I usually only do that if the foe's pokemon is weak to steel, I am desperate, or he/she has 1-3 pokemon left and I have backup. Main use is for revenge killer, other use is for scounting. Not much more to say.

242.png

Basic Blissey

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 80 HP/252 Def/176 SpD
Careful nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled

My basic Blissey setup. Half healer, half attacker. I use wish to heal Blissey and or the other pokemon on my team. I start out using
Protect most of the time, then Thunder Wave, then use wish if I have to. After that I Seismic Toss the foe to death, while healing if I need to in between. If it seems unsafe to keep Blissey in, I will then switch it out.

Overall Brawl Infernape

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252Spe
Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
- Close Combat
- Flair Blitz
- Stone Edge
- Mach Punch

One of my favorite pokemon. Infernape was my starter in D/P, so I decided to keep it in shoddy. My Infernape is nothing to special. Just a simple physical attacker. Really, its only purpose is to attack. I use U-Turn if things start to get to dangerous to keep Infernape in.

473.png

Son of a Flinch Togekiss

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 6 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Thunder Wave
- Aura Sphere
- Roost

I really use Togekiss only for Air Slashing untill the foe gets badly sweeped or leaves XD. I roost if Togekiss looks like its in trouble, and sometimes Body Slam to get the opponent paralyzed. Not much more to say. I think my Togekiss is one of the pokemon that needs fixing up the most.

134.png

Medical Vaporeon

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/68 Spe
Bold (+SpA, -Atk)
- Hidden Power (Electric)
- Haze
- Surf
- Wish

My teams main medical master. I mainly use Vaporeon to heal the team. It is a side special attacker. I recently swapped Jolteon for Vaporeon, because I saw that Vaporeon would do better. For Jolteon I did almost the same thing, with a littel difference in EV's, and I baton passed the wish.

So there is my team. Please rate it as best as you can. If you think I should replace a pokemon with a different pokemon I would really like to know. Thanks!

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/80 SpA/176 SpD
Careful nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Protect
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled

I say softboiled instead of wish here because you already have a wish passer on your team. Not only that but if your in a battle and your Blissey needs hp fast, wish takes to turns to heal you so it could faint by the time it's ready.

Overall Brawl Infernape

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252Spe
Adamant (+SpD, -SpA)
- Mach Punch
- Fire Punch
- Stone Edge
- U-Turn

mach Punch should be used here because of speed issues. If your not gonna use a jolly nature then it is seriously suggested. this is because if your up against someone who is faster, U-Turn is a waste and, if there expecting a switch from it, they could easily use a stat booster. This is where Mach Punch comes in. If it's a pokemon who would normally kill u because it's faster and not because it has a certain type, then Mach Punch is used. Mach punch + stab +Life Orb = Death

473.png

Son of a Flinch Togekiss

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 6 HP/252 SpA/252 SpD
Modest (+ SpA, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Thunderwave/ Aura Sphere
- Nasty Plot
- Roost

I suggest T-Wave or Aura Sphere for a couple reasons. 1. Body Slam really won't cut it because, even though it'll have a high chance of paralysis, it won't always paralyse them, that's why T-wave would be used. Aura Sphere could be used because if they send out a Rock type or Steel type, your screwed.

Medical Vaporeon

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/68 Spe
Bold (+SpA, -Atk)
- Hidden Power (Electric)
- Protect
- Surf
- Wish

Ok, so I suggested a few minor things so, I really don't mind if you use them or not but that's just what I think would improve it. The team you have right now though is good and I would give it a 8/10 as there are some weaknesses in there that could prove to be...bad.

just a quick rate for now may edit later. Put those 80 Spatk evs into HP because you don't even have an attack

Infernape's nature is wrong.

Overall Brawl Infernape

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252Spe
Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)

An Adamant nature boosts attack.

Consider using Jolly to get the jump on pokemon that currently outspeed Infernape.

Why do you have 40 EVs in Atk for Blissey? Seismic Toss will always do damage equal to your level so just put those 40 EVs into HP.

Also I would use Close Combat on Infernape over Mach Punch. Jolly Infernape doesn't really need priority. Close Combat will do much more damage to everything and OHKO Blissey. I don't know if Mach Punch can do that since it only has a BP of 60 (after STAB), and 120 (super effective). On the other hand Close Combat's BP is 180 (after STAB) and 360 (super effective).

why the SpD for togekiss and not speed?, i mean if you opponent sets up stealth rocks and has even some speed ev's in his pokemon it will more than likely kill it.
assuming you send togekiss in and take SR damage and dont roost the 1st turn and choose to attack and it gets hit. after that your either dead, or going to call him back which would result in SR damage again when it comes back out or have it killed or come in to get hit with another attack.
if you want to keep togekiss, run max speed and sp.attk on him over the ev's you have now.
