The Technician's Leapers(try saying that 3 times ;)

(1st ever RMT so bare with me... ;)The Technician Leapers is a team that I had created with my top favorite pokemons. Even though I love all pokes respectively. There are a few...that just stand out! Anyways, let's get to the exciting part, ever since I have played with this team on PO server I have won many more battles than my OU rain team which I will post later on... I cannot say that this team is the best OU team, but I can say it is my best OU team. The reason I cannot say that this is the best OU team,( I actually believe that there is none in existence) is because that there will always be someone better, faster and stronger than you, but today, is the day that will all change...;) ok fine, I am joking, but since I am posting my team up, surely all can help me to become the best. Ok so here is the team...

(btw, sorry for no pictures because I am using an iPad and I can't post pokemon sprites from Pokemonelite)

Let's get things started!

Infernape(Leaps)
Item: air balloon
Ability: blaze
EVs: 252 Spe/ 184 Hp/ 72 Atk
Nature: jolly(+Spe, -SAtk)
-encore
-mach punch
-u turn
-fake out

Infernape is a great lead with it's outstanding speed, and huge movepool making the opponent really confused with what move set it is containing. This set is just one that I created throughout playing OU in the PO server. Since alot of people may believe he is a mix sweeper, I will have a chance to either set-up or scout, and with it's priority move, Mach punch, I can kill little leftover pieces of junks off my opponents pokes which is very useful since I don't have a spike user....

Terrakion(Rex)
Item: Life Orb
Ability: justified
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Nature: adamant(+Atk, -SAtk)
-rock polish
-stone edge
-x scissors
-close combat

Terrakion is just one of my mid-gave sweepers or lure to bring out my dragonite for parashuffle or my chantey to set-up stealth. Also with it not being a scarfed poke it is open to use all of it's move set at once. Another thing is that people will normally think it is a scarf or banded terra which will really scare the opponent badly, and since it is a mid game sweeper,it will most likely be unaffected by spikes and stealth.

Mew(Quex)
Item: choice scarf
Ability: synchronize
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Nature: timid(+Spe, -Atk)
-transform
-trick
-hidden power fighting
-psychic

Mew....don't you just love this pokemon;) this poke is a poke that is also a lure that will get my terra that extra Atk boost. Besides that, it also cripples incoming walls with trick, or if not HP fighting. Another new move set is transform, transform is a great move because it allows me to see my opponent's pokes moveset or if not, use it against them. That is what I call taste your own medicine.

Chansey(Evol)
Item: eviolite
Ability: natural cure
EVs: 252 Hp/ 252 SDef/ 4 Spe
Nature: bold(+Def, -Atk)
-seismic toss
-wish
-stealth rock
-heal bell

My baby to this team..... This is basically self explanatory......

Dragonite(Dizz)
Item: lum berry
Ability: multiscale
EVs: 184 Atk/ 252 Hp/ 72 SDef
Nature: careful(+SDef, -SAtk)
-thunder wave
-substitute
-dragon tail
-roost

Dragonite is wonderful and annoying! This poke really came along for me in many matches I have fought crippling almost my opponent's whole pokemon team with paralysis and switching forces with D-tail. Also with chansey's wish move(restoring over 300 HP, dragonite will be hard to defeat.

Salamence(Sally)
Item: choice band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp
Nature: jolly(+Spe, -SAtk)
-outrage
-earthquake
-fire fang
-brick break

My late game finisher, or mid game sweeper. Also very self-explanatory..

Thank you guys..

Criticism is welcome!!!

Other teammates(are they worth putting in?) will slowly add more suggested pokes by me..btw, all sets and natures are picked by me unless otherwise stated...

Heatran
Item:air balloon
Ability:flash fire
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 SDef/ 4Hp
Nature: calm(+SDef, -Atk)
-rest
-lava plume
-sleep talk
-roar

Hey there,

So I see you are using a favorites team, which is pretty cool. Alright, so first I'll start with your movesets and I have a few ideas for you. Salamence, as of now is a choice band, but if you want to pull off a late game sweep you really should run a Choice Scarf with Moxie as your ability. This way after you KO a pokemon, you get the speed of a choice scarf but the power of a choice band. This is a great way to finish of a weakened team, and you can rack up multiple boosts without using a set-up move.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
4hp/252atk/252spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd -SAtk)
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Fire Fang

Next up, I would suggest changing Infernape to a focus sash with Stealth rock instead of encore. This lets you get up hazards which notably can negate Multiscale on enemy dragonite, and take it's toll later in the battle. Focus Sash activates blaze, and lets you rampage with Fire Punch (Swap for U-turn) while having close combat (swap it for mach punch) for another powerful STAB.

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
4hp/252atk/252spd
Jolly nature(+Spd, -SAtk)
-Stealth Rock
-Fire Punch
-Close Combat
-Fake Out

*Also have Chansey swap out stealth rock for Protect or Toxic.

That Mew set is interesting, I like it but be careful when transforming into something like Terrakion because it can close combat on the Transformation(but I doubt it would stay in on Mew) just a tip.

Other than these changes I suggested above, have fun and good luck!

I actually like your idea of using stealth rock(which I was thinking about putting in) but I just don't like that close combat replacement for Mach punch...Mach punch is just Berger my opinion because, it receives stab from mach punch, and btw doesn't blaze only power up fire attacks? May u please also give me a better reason why to use ur set and item choices. And btw, is a SAtk Salamence a good choice as well?

You could do a mixed moxie mence set.
Salamence@Choice Scarf
Naive 252 Atk/Spd 4 Sp Atk
-Outrage
-Fire Blast
-Earthquake
-Brick Break
This is a good set for a mixed moxie mence.Tell me if this works for you. Good Luck!
Btw can you please add some pictures?

Well I agree Mach Punch is good, i just believe close combat is better. Close Combat as well as Mach Punch gets STAB but close combat has 180 power with STAB. That will dent anything that's not immune to it, and yeah I didn't mean to say close combat gets a boost from Blaze sorry for the confusion. If you want a better reason to use my suggested sets then here you go. First off a late game sweeper, which is what you want needs a lot of speed. A lot of pokemon your opponent will try to save are pokemon such as Terrakion. Terrakion can kill off your choice band set without a second thought, it outspeeds Salamence. But when you have a choice scarf you can kill Terrakion get +1 attack from Moxie and bam, you are as strong as your choice band set but as fast as a choice scarf. Believe me when I say Choice Scarf Moxie Salamence is really quite popular right now (as an added plus it's an overall good revenge killer as well). As for your question about special attacking Salamence I usually would say no, however if you want to try something new it does lure out and kill Dragonite's counters which is pretty cool. For Chansey you really can have whatever you want on their, it's pretty much fine just get rid of stealth rock if you plan to use Infernape. It would be redundant to use two stealth rockers, so you can get a different move for Chansey. Again this all just my opinion, it's ultimately up to you. I also want to point out the Swords Dance Landorus problem, which by the way Choice Scarf Salamence solves. No matter what set you use on salamence make sure it has Moxie (except for Dragon Dance). Alright, so that's that good luck!

Thanx Tyranitar, that was a big help, but can also help me identify some threats, because even though I play with this team, I couldn't really find a major problem...

Hi The Technician

Very interesting team you have here, I really like your creative use of Trick+Transform Mew. Now looking at your team, I can see Offensive Dragon Dance Dragonite as being a major threat. After Dragonite sets up a DD, he is able to outspeed your entire team and hit everything hard with Outrage. For this threat, I recommend replacing the Choice Band on Salamence with a Choice Scarf. Scarf Salamence allows you to outspeed Dragonite at +1 speed, and allows you to revenge kill if Dragonite has taken some prior damage and does not have Multiscale active. Since you are using Salamence as your primary late game cleaner, I also recommend replacing his ability with Moxie. Moxie coincides well with Choice Scarf for a late game clean up, as Mence will gain Attack boosts to create a snowball effect, and at +1 Speed, will be very difficult to revenge kill. Another suggestion I have is to replace your current Infernape’s moveset with a moveset of Stealth Rock / Mach Punch / U-turn / Flare Blitz and replace Air Balloon with a Life Orb. Due to the birth of team preview and death of dedicated leads in Black and White, Lead Infernape is not as effective as he once was in DPPT and struggles against common leads nowadays such as Rotom-W and Landorus. The 3 attack Infernape set fits your team well, providing Stealth Rock that cripple the aforementioned Dragonite as well as Volcarona and Salamence. Mach Punch and Flare Blitz provide you with powerful STAB attacks, the former picking off Terrakion and Tyranitar and U-turn is useful in scouting and providing you with switch priority.

Now for some smaller changes. First I recommend replacing Lum Berry on Dragonite with Leftovers. Leftovers gives Dragonite reliable recovery over time in order to reactivate Multiscale and can cancel out hail/sand damage if those weathers are in effect. Lum Berry is useful to protect against status, but is not needed on your current set as you already have Substitute to block status and the advantages of Leftovers are greater. Next if you do choose to implement the change in Infernape’s moveset, you should replace Stealth Rock on Chansey with Toxic. Toxic allows you to wear down your opponents and cripple walls. Finally recommend moving the 4 HP EVs on Mew, Terrakion, and Salamence into Special Defense. The reason for this is because, by removing the 4 HP EVs, these Pokemon will have an odd HP number giving you the maximum number of switch ins into Stealth Rock. For example, Salamence with an HP of 331 is able to switch into Stealth Rock five times, while if he has 332 HP he is only able to switch in four times. The 4 EVs are placed into Special Defense so that Pokemon with the Download ability gain an Attack boost instead of Special Attack.

Hope I helped and good luck with your team!

Set:

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Mach Punch
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn

tl;dr

Choice Band Salamence ----> Choice Scarf
Intimidate Salamence ----> Moxie
Lead Infernape ----> Stealth Rock 3 Attack Infernape
Lum Berry Dragonite ----> Leftovers
Stealth Rock on Chansey ----> Toxic
4 HP EVs on Mew, Terrakion, Salamence ----> 4 Special Defense EVs

Leftovers is useful to get back steady recovery, and potentially restoring Multiscale. You also already have Substitute to block status. Lum Berry is more useful on an Offensive Dragon Dance Dragonite to cure Outrage Confusion or other statuses while setting up.
