Introduction: I just recently got into Uber battling, and I've been pretty good with this team with a record of 9-0, although I haven't tried it on Shoddy yet.
At a glance:
Wanna see me go to that mountain and back? Wanna see me do it again?
Deoxys-S@Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spe/252 Att/4 Def
Move 1: Stealth Rock
Move 2: Spikes
Move 3: Superpower
Move 4: Taunt
The best Stealth Rocker/Spiker in the Uber tier. Outspeeds everything that isnt another Deoxys-S, guarantees Stealth Rock and usually gets at least one layer of spikes up. Taunt is to counter two other common leads: Darkrai and Deoxys-D. Darkrai usually opens up with Dark Void, so it won't be able to use that, then I use Superpower for the OHKO on it. Deoxys-D usually carry only one attack move, so Taunt will effectively make it a pretty much useless lead.
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head.......
Kyogre@Leftovers
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Drizzle
252 Sp Att/252 Sp Def/4 HP
Move 1: Thunder Wave
Move 2: Water Spout
Move 3: Thunder
Move 4: Ice Beam
The backbone of my team. It really helps Manaphy, buy I'll get to Manaphy when the time comes. A STAB 150 base power attack+Rain bonus=Death to anything that doesnt resist it, and even a few that do resist it. Thunder Wave is to cripple any fast pokemon, such as Mewtwo, Darkrai, Deoxys-Any Forme, Arceus, and others. Thunder is for opposing Kyogre, Manaphy, and Lugia. Ice Beam is pretty much a given, considering that alot of the pokemon in Uber have an Ice weakness, and the ones that don't have an Ice weakness are taken care of by Thunder. It has a speed lowering nature to make sure it goes after Groudon, so that Drought won't ruin Drizzle.
OMG Water-Filled Hackey-sack!
Manaphy@Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Hydration
252 Sp. Att/252 Spe/4 Sp Def
Move 1: Rest
Move 2: Tail Glow
Move 3: Surf
Move 4: Ice Beam
This is one awesome hackey-sack. Paired with Kyogres Drizzle, it is unstoppable. Rest makes for an instant full recovery due to Hydration, and after one Tail Glow anything neutral to Surf, or weak against Ice=X( Not much else to say.
Death to the weather!!
Rayquaza@Life Orb(Mixquaza)
Nature: Mild
Ability: Air Lock
252 Sp Att/252 Att/4 Spe
Move 1: Draco Meteor
Move 2: Fire Blast
Move 3: Extremespeed
Move 4: Thunderbolt
The most fearful flying reptilian the world has ever seen. Draco Meteor to kill anything that doesn't resist it, Fire Blast to kill Metagross, Skarmory, and Forretress, Extremespeed to have priority, and Thunderbolt for Water-types. The reason I chose Thunderbolt over Thunder here is because of Rayquaza's ability, Air Lock, which means that THunder will still have 70% accuracy even in the rain, and with a Special Attack stat of 438, Thunderbolt does enough.
The clone of the father of all Pokemon....does that mean that its part Magikarp?
Mewtwo@Leftovers
Nature: Modest
Ability: Pressure
252 Sp Att/252 Spe/4 HP
Move 1: Aura Sphere
Move 2: Calm Mind
Move 3: Ice Beam
Move 4: Shadow Ball
The best legendary there is, this thing pwns Arceus, the "god" of all pokemon(who knew god was a llama?). If I'm correct this combination hits everything in Ubers except for Manaphy, Kyogre, and Palkia. Calm Mind to boost Mewtwo's already sky-high Special Attack, and his mediocre Special Defense.
Super Special Awesome Dual Screening Wall
Lugia@Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pressure
252 Def/252 Sp Def/4 HP
Move 1: Reflect
Move 2: Light Screen
Move 3: Ice Beam
Move 4: Roost
The most Super Special Awesome Dual Screening Wall there is. It is guaranteed to live through pretty much everything thats not 3X Swords Dance Choice Band Rampardos Stone Edge. Ice Beam to hit alot of pokemon for super effective damage, although I might replace it with Whirlwind.
That is my team!
Please no douchebag comments!
