Hey guys its ShaunXD here. I haven't been here in a while as my EXAMS were going on.
So before the exams started me and my fren(Heidoe) made together. Its made around mega gallade, our best duelist here ofc :P .I still have to learn more about this game but im happy as i know i have become way better than before. The team overall hates stall so any advice on that is appreciated :]
TEAM IN DEPTH :
Kaiba (Gallade) @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Zen Headbutt
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
Mega gallade, while not being the best in the current metagame, it is still a great pokemon and also is my main win condition with its:-
Spike (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Spikes
So gallade's main weakness are fairies which ferrothorn can easily wall unless it obviously has focus blast or hp fire /fire blast etc.
But anyways this was chosen for its great defence and able to stop many many physical attackers. The ev spread enables ferrothorn to take one hit from specs magnezone at full health so it doesn't faint in vain. This thing helps the team in dealing with mega slowbro without fireblast but then my keldeo can stop it...kinda. The spikes are also crucial for slowbro as it chips out damage which cn also be helpful.
MOVE ANALYSIS
Cameron (Keldeo) @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
Keldeo in this current meta is just great. Useful for the physical sweepers as it just try n burn em like scizor which can be very problematic for this team. Anyways the team was looking pretty weak to mega sableye.Keldeo is also my only good-ish way to deal with skarmory (if it has brave bird it cud be a problem again). So CM + Sub keldeo was pretty good for it as well. I also needed a water type and obviously need dat 30% burn chance
MOVE ANALYSIS
Hugh (Hippowdon) (M) @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
So the team needed a stealth-rocker and a stop to weather teams.
Hippo is chosen over T-Tar as the team was already pretty weak to conkelderr and hippo can stop many threats in OU like zardx mega pisnir(sorta) burds thundurus etc.Anyways hippo is there for soaking up alll the physical hits although the set is more spdefensive(the set can obviously change if it is suggested so ofc).
But anyways although its not invested much in defence it still cn survive a +1 waterfall from megados which also be useful at certain times. Since it is spdefensively invested electric types with hp ice wont have a good time and electric types are pretty annoying to the team overall.
MOVE ANALYSIS
Joel (Excadrill) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Hp
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
This pokemon is just soo threatening to teams while sand is up.
It can easily thrash through teams unprepared and all and its amazing in late game too. The set is pretty standard. Also this is amazingly great for these annoying fairies.Fairies also are annoying to this team and half of the team is weak to fairies while having 2 resistances (including driller). So if the opposing fairy is rendered useless and is, perhaps, forced to switch i cn pull off the SD making for an another great win condition.
MOVE ANALYSIS
Kelly (Latias) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP / null Atk
- Psyshock
- Recover
- Healing Wish
- Draco Meteor
This pokemon is just such a great pokemon like seriously. 72 Hp is chosen as it takes less recoil frm life orb. This checks keldeo and can counter landorus-I etc.Although it has its checks i have kept recover for longitivity(or however thats spelt). I feel like healing wish is so important for this team as it supports the sweepers very very well. Latias also, as i mentioned before, can check and counter specs keldeo which can rip this team apart, literally.
MOVE ANALYSIS
Alright so that was the team it has helped me a lot and i thought id post it here so i cud improve it.
I realize this team is weak to skarmory megabro rotom etc
I'd love a lot of advice so i could improve
But anyways overall i love using this team.
Thanks :]

THE TEAM AT GLANCE:

TEAM IN DEPTH :

Kaiba (Gallade) @ Galladite
Ability: Justified

Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Zen Headbutt
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
Mega gallade, while not being the best in the current metagame, it is still a great pokemon and also is my main win condition with its:-
- amazing base 165 attack stat
- and also being able to speed-tie with the lati-twins and other base 110 speed pokemons like mega diancie, gengar and mega-meta but it cant do too much to meta.
- Although it can't really switch in too much as i wouldn't want to take too much damage as it is my main sweeper, it is still a great pokemon after certain conditions are met for it to sweep.
- Close combat: for the freakish power it has and STAB of course.
- Zen Headbutt: for STAB, even psycho cut can be used obviously but i like the more power in zen headbutt
- Swords Dance: Like seriously if this pulls off ONE SD it can sweep teams easily unless gallade is weakended and all. It is also a very strong win condition.
- Knock Off: This is a great move for the lati-twins and gengar to an extent if you dont want zen headbutt to miss which can happen of course. Overall Knock off is a great move
Spike (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe

MOVE ANALYSIS
- Gyro Ball: is pretty standard and self-explainatory
- Leech Seed: is also pretty standard and self-explainatory
- Power Whip: for threats like keldeo megados azumarill but can be changed to protect or SR
- Spikes: for that chip damage which is really cool although it can just be rapid spin-ed off or just defog em away

Cameron (Keldeo) @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

MOVE ANALYSIS
- Scald: STAB + 30% burn chance? WOW
- Secret Sword: Very standard on keldeo pretty self-explainatory
- Calm Mind: As i mentioned earlier this is a cm set for mega sableye so it is self-explainatory in this thread atleast
- Substitute: Again self-explainatory
Hugh (Hippowdon) (M) @ Smooth Rock

MOVE ANALYSIS
- EQ: Very standard on ground types
- Stone edge : great for talonflame and other flying types
- SR: self-explainatory
- Slack off: Crucial for recovery on hippo as it doesn't have lefties
Joel (Excadrill) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Hp

MOVE ANALYSIS
- Swords Dance: This is a great move to use and can catch people off guard very easily as thy expect rapid spin instead of SD.Pretty much like mega gallade
- Rock Slide: Pretty mandatory on excadrill for burds and stuffz
- EQ: Standard....
- Iron Head: i'm realizing half the move analysis has self-explainatories :P
Kelly (Latias) @ Life Orb

MOVE ANALYSIS
- Psyshock: for STAB very standard on lati's
- Recover: defog can also be used on this spot but i like the ability to stay on the field for longer time.
- Healing Wish: Great on lati, helps change the game very easily for my sweepers to continue their sweep and so nd so
- Draco Meteor: Standard on lati's
