XY OU thegospelofkirk's OU team (so far)

Mega Charizard X
Adamant Nature
EV Spread: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 SpDef
Moves:
-Roost
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Flare Blitz

I used this setup because I had planned for My Charizard to be a threat with the capability to last throughout the match, considering recoil damage from Flare Blitz, along with several sweepers coming in. Earthquake is pretty much there for coverage, and so is Rock Slide, as I expect several Pokemon to come in which are resistant to fire and/or Ground type moves. (Case in point: Heatran, Talonflame)

Greninja (Ability: Protean)
Timid Nature (Item: Expert Belt)
EV Spread: 252 SpAtk and Speed, 6 HP
Moves:
-Scald
-Ice Beam
-Extrasensory
-Dark Pulse

Scald basically replaces the standard Hydro Pump because it's more accurate, plus the burn status is possible, which can cripple physical attackers that I've experienced switching to Greninja. Instead of life Orb, I used Expert Belt because, while this does prove to be useless against Pokemon who are neutral to it, I believe it's a safer choice than having 10% health drain every turn, which can prove beneficial.

Cofagrigus (Ability: Mummy)
Modest Nature (Item: Rocky Helmet)
EV Spread: 252 HP, 252 SpDef, 252 Def
Moves:
-Will o Wisp
- Shadow Ball
-Haze
-Disable

Normally Cofagrigus runs Trick Room if I remember right. However, this, I think, makes maximum use of its ability and role in my team as a neutralizer of physical sweepers, notably Azumarill (even with Belly Drum). This is more of a suicide Pokemon to be switched in anticipating an attack. Plus, I use Shadow Ball in case the other guy stays in, and Disable to counter setups/ super effective moves.

Roserade
Calm Nature (Item: Black Sludge)
EV Spread: 252 HP, 252 SpDef, 6 SpAtk
Moves:
-Giga Drain
-Sludge Bomb
-Toxic
-Aromatherapy

I've only used this very recently, and it seems to work as a Special wall quite effectively. However, it acts more as a cleric due to Aromatherapy and Natural Cure. It also acts as a stall due to Giga Drain, along with coverage in case there are Water/Ground types present. Also, I'm considering replacing Toxic for Leech Seed, would that work?

Crobat (Ability: Inner Focus)
Jolly Nature (Item: Leftovers)
EV Spread: 6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Speed
Moves:
-Defog
-Brave Bird
-U-Turn
- Taunt

I usually send out Crobat as a scout, with Taunt being something I use to prevent stacking sweepers that use Swords Dance, along with entry hazard setups and status moves. However, if one manages to setup, there's the Defog I added. So, Crobat's basically a scout for my team. Brave Bird serves as a contingency for Spore users, like Breloom, which can also be countered using the aforementioned Taunt, making this set quite unpredictable, in my opinion.

Thundurus-I (Ability: Prankster)
Timid Nature (Item: Focus Sash)
EV Spread: 6 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed
Moves:
-Thunder Wave
-Grass Knot
-Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt

This set works in one of two ways. First, it can set a Nasty Plot against those with super effective Rock/Ice moves such that it can deal massive damage, or use Thunder Wave to cripple fast sweepers. I use the Nasty Plot setup usually when there aren't any hazards setup, although if I'm confident, I'd risk it.

dclaw is a superior choice over rock slide on mega zard-X. rock slide doesn't get stab nor tough claws boost (talonflame cant take dclaw at all). Roserade is bad, you would probably enjoy having celebi on your team (counters Keldeo, non Sludge wave landorus-I and non choice band Azumarill), celebi learns recover and heal bell. Grass Knot is a very bad move on Thundurus, I would reccomend you to go with either HP ice or flying (both have amazing coverage). Greninja must have Life Orb, otherwise you would prefer having another Pokemon (you are not even using Hydro Pump). I would reccomend you Keldeo (reliable Scald spammer and it is another Bisharp/Mega Scizor/tyranitar check).

ello, interesting team, sorta a personally perference Id like to throw in since that hot gay man pretty much covered everything else, I'd run Infilitator over Inner Focus on Crobat since flinching isn't as common, plus you can stop Sub+Set-up move sweepers
