What's up you fat losers, tox back at it again with another Rarelyused RMT. This week I'm showing off another uncommon archetype in Pokemon, Trick Room. Trick Room is pretty cool in RU, and I think I've come up with a fairly good build. Enjoy!

This was the original team. Mental Herb Bronzong is a solid trick room lead. Alolawak is incredibly strong (and slow) so it was a must-have. OTR Slowking was added as another setter, and Bewear was a physical wallbreaker. I decided to add Virzion as a late-game cleaner, and Flygon as a Salazzle check and as some speed control.

After talking to some people, I came to the conclusion that OTR Aroamtisse and Machamp were better trick room abusers. Aromatisse added another fighting resist and Machamp was a bit stronger and didn't need to be choiced to deal some hefty damage.

Bronzong was a bit too inconsistent against mons like Donphan and Necrozma, so I swapped it out for Uxie. The Trick Room core still struggled a bit with consistency, so I swapped out Virizion for OTR Slowking.
Uxie @ Mental Herb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
Uxie is arguably the best Trick Room lead in Rarelyused besides Bronzong. Levitate allows it to better check Donphan, and it's mono-Psychic typing helps it perform better against all of the threatening fire-types in the tier. Mental Herb is the item of choice, preventing Taunt turn 1 so Uxie can either get Rocks or Trick Room up. Memento is a pretty cool move, allowing Uxie to sacrifice itself in order to get in an abuser safely. U-Turn is great for pivoting out on threatening Pokemon, while Knock Off let's it have a bit more utility against other leads. Stealth Rocks is the only hazards on this team, so it's important to always throw these up turn one.
Machamp @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
Machamp is the primary physical wallbreaker of this team. With Guts + Flame Orb, Machamp reaches almost 600 Attack, and can fire off an incredibly strong STAB Close Combat. Knock Off and Facade round out the coverage, allowing Machamp to hit everything in the tier for neutral damage. Stone Edge could be run over Facade, but anything that Edge hits, CC/Facade 2HKO. Facade also allows for us to hit Necrozma/Slowbro/etc. incredibly hard after a Knock Off. Bullet Punch fills in the last slot, providing some nice priority.
Aromatisse @ Fairium Z
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
An uncommon Pokemon in the tier, Aromatisse is completely outclassed by Florges as a defensive Wish-passer. However, where Aromatisse truly shines is as an offensive Trick Room setter. With access to Nasty Plot and solid moves in Moonblast and Psychic, Aromatisse is a force to be reckoned with. With it's Z-Move, it can deal hefty damage to everything bar Registeel and Bronzong. It's ability Aroma Veil is also incredibly useful, as it prevents Trick Room from getting blocked by Taunt or Encore. However, Aromatisse still struggles with it's bulk even with maximum HP investment, so make sure to not switch this into any strong neutral or resisted attacks.
Marowak-Alola @ Thick Club
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
Marowak-Alola is by far the best Trick Room abuser in Rarelyused. Thick Club boosts it's low attack stat to 568 unboosted, and after a single Swords Dance boost over 1000. AlolaWak was also blessed with STAB Flare Blitz, preventing even the most bulky resists switching in nicely. A secondary Ghost-typing allows Marowak to threaten out bulky Waters like Slowbro and Vaporeon, and deal hefty damage to any other Fire resist in the tier. Earthquake rounds out the coverage, hitting Diancie and Rhyperior for nice damage. Swords Dance won't be used often, but it is nice to set up on Pokemon who will stall out Trick Room turns with Protect such as Vaporeon, Bronzong, Registeel, etc. Substitute can also be used, if you want to let AlolaWak get a few more hits off before it has to switch out.
Slowking @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
The last Trick Room Pokemon on this team is Slowking. Now, you may be wondering, but tox, isn't Slowbro better? NO. Slowking has access to the move Nasty Plot, while Slowbro does not. Slowking also has a very nice SpDef stat, giving us more leeway against strong special attackers such as Gardevoir, MegaStoise, Nidoqueen, etc. Colbur is used here to help tank at least one Knock Off or a Dark Pulse against Blastoise. Surf is the preferred Water STAB, as it packs a bit more power, and you won't ever be fishing for Scald burns. I prefer Psyshock in the last slot, as it helps Slowking's matchup against Florges, Vaporeon, and other special walls, but I suppose you could run Psychic if you wanted to.
Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Flygon rounds out the last spot on our team, and is the only non-Trick Room Pokemon on our team. It compresses a lot of roles, mainly providing speed control and hazard removal. Dual STABs are a necessity, allowing us to check Salazzle, Raikou, Steel-types not named Bronzong, other Dragon-types that aren't also Scarf Flygon, etc. U-Turn allows for Flygon to be a nice pivot, coming in on Pokemon it outspeeds and then U-Turning out into a Trick Room setter. This team has no other hazard removal, so if the opponent has a lot of hazards on the field, we can Defog and sack Flygon that turn if need be.
- Donphan can get a bit scary, as Sturdy + Very strong STAB EQ means that something is taking a lot of damage. A lot of the mons on this steam struggle to switch in, so play around carefully. You can, however, always set up with Slowking or Aromatisse and KO it the next turn with Twinkle Tackle or Surf. Just make sure you keep Rocks up so you don't have to mess with Sturdy.
- Escavalier is very uncommon, but still scary every time I see it. Banded can be played around, but nothing on the team can switch into Megahorn cleanly, and if it's AV, you have to deal with playing around Knock Off with Marowak. It's also slow, which means it can outspeed some of the mons on this team under TR.
- These are both offensive threats that carry Taunt. With Honch, Marowak can live a Brave Bird but not Dark Z, and Slowking can play around Sucker if Colbur is still intact. Aromatisse does not live a +1 Brave Bird, and if Honchkrow has Taunt it can mess with Uxie. If Vanilluxe is Icicle Plate, most everything on my team can live at least 1 Blizzard or Freeze Dry. With both, just make sure you keep rocks up, and you can hit them with a BP from Machamp to wear them down.
