I was playing around with mechanics in the current meta (hate current meta) and realized how much everyone is dependent on stat boosts or walling. This team addresses that by disrupting any strategy your opponent cooks up via a combo of a well placed trick, followed by Super effectively sniping their ace. I have played 50 games and won 40 of them without ever once wiping out the other team. All 40 times they forfeited. This team dont care about hazards or type advantage, and shuts down sweepers at the drop of a hat.
It is still in progress though, and am looking for input
Sphinctre (Clefable) @ Sticky Barb
Ability: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Electric/fire/fighting
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Thunderbolt/flamethrower/tera blast
- Trick
Clefable is whatever you want him to be. Different sets that work include tera fighting with tera blast, or tera fire with flamethrower, as long as its offensive. trick is there to give sticky barb to their wall, and I cannot tell you how many people running gliscor were salty at losing their toxic orb, or their ting liu/dozo/other tank losing their leftovers for an HP drain. stats ensure its bulky enough to survive at least one hit, and if you steal leftovers cleffy gets to heal. offensive tera is to turn the tables on threats like king gambit while dropping another calm mind.
Glycogen Storage (Ting-Lu) @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Payback
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
Hands down the most unkillable set ive ever seen, so I stole it. No attack investment yet payback and earthquake hit like a truck, with rest-talk for turning the tables on overconfident opponents and tera poison to further demoralize. This guy usually takes out 2-3 mons on its own.
Keratin Filaments (Zapdos) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 60 SpA / 96 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Roost
- Thunder Wave
- Hurricane
Extremeley hardy zapdos set, mostly used for paralyzing or to send out when I need to wall something. 9/10 times hes a safe switch in who paralyzes whatever they send out. Hurricane is the main offensive move, and its strong enough to function when it hits.
Glittoris (Glimmora) @ Power Herb
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Meteor Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Sludge Bomb
- Earth Power
The glizzy gobbler himself, glimmora is my special sniper. hes not meant for longevity, but for killing the problematic thing on the other team so I can go back to frustrating them. Glimmy's meat beam one shots a sizeable amount of the meta, including scizor, a nonbulky lando, and spd/atk gliscors.
Roe Jogan (Dragonite) @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Multiscale
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 HP / 140 Def / 116 SpD
Careful Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Iron Head
- Scale Shot
- Roost
This dragonite set is not meant to be the win condition, as I have rarely sent him out.. If anything, he is a distraction but if he is sent out, he will survive long enough to take out 1-2 mons through bulk-scale and healing. No one expects tera dragon scale shot, and if they do, they dont expect iron head.
Osteonecrosis (Rotom-Wash) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Discharge
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
Rotom, I usually lead with him if thinking their lead is a set up mon. the trick/ wisp combo is what starts the engine most of the time, turning a mon into a paperweight with choice scarf, then wisping whatever they panic switch into. Usually its a phys attacker.
Paste of the current team pls give suggestions. Im most unsure about the draonite itself, maybe switching for pult or tusk but am unsure.
