This has been doing surprisingly well so far.

Fluff Remover (UU RMT)

Hariyama (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk/200 Def/56 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Fake Out
- Payback
---

My lead. He Fake Outs to allows Toxic orb to activate then proceeds to beat everything to death. He more or less auto loses to Spiritomb and Moltress leads though. I feel that there could be a better option for a lead... Maybe a scouter to make prediction with Rhyperior a bit easier? I was thinking a lead Blastoise could be kinda cool since it would give me another Ice Resist... But at the same time, it would give me another Grass Weakness.... I don't know, I'm open for suggestions.

I have been considering switching Bullet punch for Whirlwind or Stone Edge since it hasn't really come in handy yet... I will do a bit more testing before I make that decision though...

Oh, I have also been considering trying a TechniTop for a lead... It seams like it could be lulzy and it could actually come in later to revenge kill and pick off weakened teams. It would probably be something like this:

Hitmontop @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Punch
- Sucker Punch (This over CC simply for coverage.)

Rhyperior (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 88 HP/252 Atk/168 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Rock Blast
- Stone Edge
---

This thing is my Wall breaker and all around beast. I decided to go with Rock Blast for things like Mismagius and other things that set up a sub. It has come in handy so far. So far, he has more or less OHKO'd everything I needed him to. I love this guy. He is more or less the reason I built the team.

Uxie @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/156 Def/100 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Psychic
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- U-turn
---

Well, this here is, as you can all see, a very sturdy mixed wall. He sets up SR netting my Rhyperior quite a few notable OHKOs. Registeel is a good example. This also pairs well with Rhyperior to take the fighting and Ground hits aimed at him and also helps with scouting. Anyway, he is a good transition pokemon and aids my Magmortar with Paralysis support.

This guy can be considered a Toxicroak check because he can survive a +2 Sucker punch and KO back with his Psychic.

Altaria (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
---

This pairs extremely well with Rhyperior by coming in on his grass and water weaknesses. The only thing I have to worry about is that most Bulky Waters carry Ice Beam. He also pairs well with Venusaur and Magmortar, coming in on Venusaur's fire weakness and Magmortar's Ground and Water weaknesses. After he comes in on something he can force out, He DD's up and runs through most of the UU tier. He is kind of a Milotic check as he can 1 hit it with a +1 Outrage. Moltress can do next to nothing to him and allows me to set up.

Venusaur (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Power Whip
- Sleep Powder
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
---

As much as I hated to use such an over used pokemon, I couldn't ignore his usefulness. Again, he comes in on Rhyperior's and Magmortar's Weaknesses and Fires back hard at those Bulky Waters... Namely Milotic. Sleep Powder will deal with whatever he can't already.

Magmortar (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 84 Atk/172 Spd/252 SAtk
Mild nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Cross Chop
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Lava Plume
- Thunderbolt
---

Magmortar rounds off the team by giving me an Ice Resistance along with coverage. He also destroys the Grass and Water Types that sometimes like to mess with the team. He kinda works as my Moltress counter as well. Cross chop is there because he seams to like to attract the likes of Chansey and Cleffable. Cross Chop can cleanly 2HKO Chansey. I have been considering changing his nature to a speed boosting nature so that he can deal with Venasuar.

I forgot to mention that this team has a horrible time against Rain teams... I need a way to fix that.

Harriyama: I don't think switching him out for Blastoise is gonna help you much against Spiritomb. Not entirely sure what would, though. I usually just attempt to play around him with my own spiritomb, or sacrifice something and finish him off.

Uxie: I sold you on the toxic idea on Uxie, didn't I? I don't really care for Uxie setting up stealth rock, but that's just me. I don't think I'd get rid of Thunder Wave, though. Thunder Wave has a bit more utility on this team then Toxic does.

Everybody else seems fine. I don't think you're horribly weak to anything, but I could be wrong... Wait, didn't you have issues with Rain Dance teams?

Probably not... It is just something that would be fun to try... and it would give me a great offensive and defensive core with a fire, water and grass.

I actually removed the toxic idea before you posted... Or while you were posting at the very least.

Yeah, Rain Dance is a bitch for me... I really need to do something about that... A Toxicroak could effectively shut them down... And the added priority would be nice... The only problem I have with him is that he gives my team another Psychic, ground and pseudo-fire Weakness...

Quagsire could work... I might check him out.

... I don't really see Blastoise being to good of a lead... I dunno though...

So I noticed.

I think Rain Dance kinda gives everyone that doesn't abuse priority problems. and I'm not sure if Toxicroak would necessarily completely stop rain dance teams on his own either, though he would certainly slow them down and probably take down at least one of their sweepers.

I'm pretty sure Quagsire would die to any variant of Ludicollo, and I'm pretty sure he's pretty much a staple to Rain Dance teams, so I don't think Quagsire will help you as much as other pokémon might.

The problem with Toxicroak is that he shares so many weaknesses with so many of my pokemon... A technitop lead could possibly stop a lot of pokemon from even setting up Rain as well as serve as a revenge killer later. With that, I am not devoting a slot on my team to do nothing but counter a RD team... Besides, more Priority is always a good thing.

Technitop would probably be better than Blastoise, but I'm not all that sure about him being a lead either though...

Hi,

This is a pretty solid team, but the lack of Rapid Spin really hurts your team, especially Magmortar and Altaria. Also, Moltres and Houndoom just rip through this team as your only Fire resists are Rhyperior and Magmortar who can't take hits from either of them. Also, Rain teams murder you. So, I'd recommend giving Rhyperior the Standard Stealth Rock set, with a moveset of Earthquake/Stone Edge/Stealth Rock/Megahorn, and moving it to the lead spot. It takes on most of the common leads fairly well, such as Ambipom and Uxie. Now, replace Uxie with a defensive Blastoise, who provides important Rapid Spin support, and provides a nice check to Moltres, as well as a plethora of physical attackers:

Blastoise@Leftovers
252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp Atk
- Surf
- Rapid Spin
- Foresight/Ice Beam
- Yawn/Toxic

To patch up your rain weakness, replacing Hariyama with a Technitop isn't a bad idea, but NP Toxicroak is another viable choice, as it easily switches into the Bulky Waters that wall Rhyperior and Magmortar. It's up to you though.

Gl with the team.

Moltress is completely and utterly destroyed by Altaria... So it hasn't been a problem so far... and I have been able to play around it if Altaria is gone...

I haven't really had too many problems with Houndoom so far, but it has the potential to mess me up.

I like the Blastoise Idea, having an extra check to those pokemon would be nice, along with the spin support it provides. I liked uxie because he gave me some Paralysis support...I would also be losing my SR support... But I suppose it is worth a try.

I tried Rhyperior as a lead and didn't like it. Besides, bulky waters are going to have a hard time switching into this set.

Thanks for the feed back!
