This is the team you absolutely HATE.

This team started out with every Pokemon I could think of that the opponent really hates. It really wasn't supposed to be successful but it turned out not too bad after all. I guess it's really gimmicky, and usually it's hit or miss. But it's loads of fun to play, and if I can get help to make it better but still keeps the overall theme, that would be great. ^_^

th_Ambipom.gif

Ambipom@Silk Scarf
Adamant - 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
+Technician+
~Fake Out
~Return
~U-Turn
~Taunt

Agh, why do I have to start with the weakest link? Well, he's not all bad. Ambipom as a lead is either hit or miss. But everyone knows what to expect, which is usually the problem. Taunt is to stop rocks or TWaves if I predict them. Fake Out + Return can do a lot of damage, and if he survives late game this combo can also make a good revenge kill. U-Turn was for scouting or just plain escaping alive, but I may replace it with something that can hit ghost or steel types. He's not meant to last, he's meant for quick unexpected damage. But if anyone is replaced it's him. :/

th_Breloom.gif

Breloom@Choice Scarf
Adamant - 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
+Effect Spore+
~Spore
~Seed Bomb
~Stone Edge
~Sky Uppercut

So, I try to have at least one Scarf Pokemon on each of my teams. Breloom has always been one of my favorite scarf users, a quick spore to the face is unexpected, and if my first attack doesn't give away my scarf a quick revenge kill later is always valued. An avenging Spore is always useful too. Though Spore is what he is known for, he still has mountainous attack power and a swift attack from him is always appreciated. Oh, and having Effect Spore or Poison Heal hasn't really been a factor so far, I guess Poison Heal could be useful if they lay Toxic Spikes but Effect Spore could help me if an enemy is sweeping me and all of a sudden is paralyzed or falls asleep.

th_Jirachi.gif

Jirachi@Expert Belt
Naive - 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
+Serene Grace+
~Fire Punch
~Ice Punch
~Iron Head
~Thunderbolt

Ever since I first found this build while rummaging through the Jirachi analysis, I really liked the idea. When I started using it, I fell in love with it. People expect CM or Scarf versions, so bluffing can be useful. They never know the full set until I reveal it, so sweeping several Pokemon in a row is always fun. People also underestimate his speed, at an above average 100 base. Getting Serene Grace's Iron Head hAx is fun too, and can help in a pinch. All in all Jirachi has probably paid off the most in this team.

th_Kingdra-1.gif

Kingdra@Lum Berry
Adamant - 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
+Sniper+
~Dragon Dance
~Disable
~Waterfall
~Outrage

This Kingdra..let's see..I don't remember where I first saw the idea! But it fares very well. Send it in on a switch. Dragon Dance. Kingdra's bulk (and I need help re-EVing him for more bulk, as I said it's not my original idea) and typing make it so that whatever move the opponent will have to do damage to him won't OHKO, usally not even 3HKO. So I Disable that move, and DD again as they use a weak move or switch. If it's a wall with only 1 attack they can be screwed over completely. Lum Berry helps me scout Thunder Waves or WoWs and Disable those before they can cripple me. All in all it's kinda gimmicky but it works.

th_Machamp.gif

Machamp@Leftovers
Adamant - 252 HP / 252 Attack / 4 HP
+No Guard+
~Dynamicpunch
~Substitute
~Stone Edge
~Bullet Punch

This Machamp surprisingly hasn't paid off too well. Maybe it's been the situations, or I don't know how to use him correctly. Though, I never regreat maxing HP, the bulk has kept me alive for the Bullet Punch KO so many times I don't know if I'll ever run anything else. But I've probably had more trouble with enemy Machamps than my opponents have with mine.

th_Togekiss.gif

Togekiss@Leftovers
Calm - 200 Sp. Defense / 252 HP / 56 Sp. Attack
+Serene Grace+
~Air Slash
~Thunder Wave
~Water Pulse
~Roost

Like Machamp and Ambipom, this Togekiss hasn't paid off as much as I'd like. It's the standard FlincHax Togekiss really except I run Water Pulse over Aura Sphere for the Parafusion effect along with flinch. It can be a really nasty combo if it works out, which unfortunately, it doesn't often.

So, this is the team I've been running for a bit. Definitely the most fun team I've run. And way more successful than I expected. I just need help fine tuning it for fun and success. :) Thanks.

I think a bulky DD gyarados would be better than kingdra, the rason being that many people simply rage quite after you taunt a few of their walls, and set up. And that would be the general aim of this team, no?

Hey there, I don't really hate this team, "As said in the title" It's pretty cool to be honest.

First of all though Ambipom is a decent lead. I don't see it doing to much in your team and there's other of great fake out leads that can setup Stealth rock and just more powerful like Infernape You only have one other thing on your team weak to ground but it also resists some stuff that you're weak to, Infernapes speed is also not that bad so I recommend you try this set:

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Nature: Naive / Hasty
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Moveset:
Stealth Rock
Fake Out
Fire Blast
Close Combat / Grass knot / Encore

Your choice Encore is for tricking pokemon for SR'ing twice for most of the time, Grass knot is for Swampert, so it helps, but Close combat is just the other stab move used for Heatran Leads Tyranitar Leads etc.

I like scarf Breloom a lot I don't think you should change it but do fix the moveset and change Sky Uppercut into SuperPower. Since this kinda breloom you Switch out quickly you're not suppose to sweep and Superpower is just stronger, plust the accuracy of Sky uppercut isn't that good only 90.

Minor thing you might just want to change Jirachis attack into Thunderpunch since all of your attacks are physical. Also don't tell me you're trying to bluff a Thunderbolt making people believe you're a Calm Minder because how about if they're out to Tyranitar are you going to Tbolt, you're going to choose Iron Head. Also you might want to change the nature of Jirachi now into Jolly.

Kingdra looks good, some minors you might just want to change the ability to Swift swim since anytime the other player might setup rain and you wouldn't be in a good position. The other is Disable isn't that great of a move if I were you I probably just change it to Subsitute because you wouldn't wanna status or tricked etc.

On Machamp a minor thing you might just want to change Bullet punch to Payback to hit Ghost types I've been using that Machamp and it works great since you barely have to finish anything off with Bullet punch for the most part since when you bring out Machamp people believe right away "He's going to dynamic punch" So they just go to a ghost type or a resistor like Latias, but when you sub and then use Payback it's worth just killing the ghost type. This moveset is just less prediction.

Lastly, as I see all your team it's pretty much telling me the point that you're trying to hax the other player which I find fine since it's part of the game so you might just want to switch 1 move of on togekiss which is Water Pulse and put Nasty plot to help add a sweep on the team.

Good luck in the future.

I have used that same Jirachi many many times before and it is a great set in my opinion. But I found that running Thunder over Thunderbolt goes a long way in furthuring his use. It gives him a 60% Paralysis chance so you can more easily paraflinch, and I dont know the exact calcs but it goes a long way in dealing with bulky waters, and the accuracy isnt THAT bad since you will only be using it against pokemon that cant deal significant damage against you anyway. And there is nothing more satisfying than paralyzing Heatran on the switch.

Also, I suggest putting the 4 Hp EV's into SpAtk because it will give your Thunder/Thunderbolt a little more oomf, and will make better use of them.

Team Adjustments:

Your Team: Lead Ambipom, Scarf Breloom, Expert Jirachi, DD Kingdra, Machamp, Togekiss

Breloom - Give it Superpower instead of Sky Uppercut due to the power. You also don't want to be backfired by the accuracy of Sky Uppercut.

Machamp - You would want Payback on this thing or it's totally walled by Rotoms or even Latias. I suggest replacing Bullet Punch for it (as Bullet Punch is very weak).

Togekiss - Instead of Water Pulse, you can go with Nasty Plot in order to beat things like Blissey or CM Suicune.

Resolutions to Threats:

Dragon Dance Salamence poses a big threat to your team, so I would suggest Scarfing your Jirachi in order to deal with it. It can also help with your DD Gyarados weakness as well.

You have nothing against Lucario either while I also checked that you have NO Stealth Rock supporter in your team. I would suggest using a Gliscor lead with Steath Rock support to deal with this problem. (replacing Ambipom)
