Thread Deletion and a Closing question

Why were both Garchomp threads closed? I cna see one being shut because they were basically duplicates, but nothing "got out of hand"

I fnone of the rules are broken in a thread, how does it get closed? Does the mod just decide he prefers things kept the way they are because he doesn't liek the outcome a discussion may have? Were a bunch or rules broken?

Anyway, a thread wae made to ask the purpose of making a thread when all ti does is get shut because it "got out of hand"

Seph, would you pleas egive an explanation? All I really wish to do is understand why these things happened...
