Thundurus-T is susceptible to being revenge killed by faster threats like Latios and Choice Scarf Hydreigon, so teammates who that can check them such as Cinderace Choice Scarf Enamorus and Mega Altaria are appreciated. Cinderace is a very shaky check to these Pokemon, it's favored to win but not something players should rely on. Enamorus is a suggestion, any other Pokemon can work here.

Mention Volt Absorb being able to block Volt Switch from foes like Iron Treads, which is especially useful on a pivot that can grab momentum. Mention how fellow pivots can form VoltTurn cores with Thundy and maintain momentum. Physical pivots like Meowscarada and especially Scizor can break through Thundy's walls, and vice versa.
