Hey guys this is my second team posted which seems to be advancing on the ladder pretty well peaking 1500 and going, with a 19-1 win streak at its peak. This was my first attempt at a balanced team however no team is perfect and this is why i'm here to see what could be improved/fixed. Thanks for clicking my thread and taking the time to review it!

Team Building Process

The team is focused around a volt-turn combo team between Mega-Manectric, and Scarfed Landorus-T. Together they are so complementary, handling each others threats nicely. Scarf Lando isnt typically common so it catches greninjas and alakazams off guard.

Rocks support is always useful as well as roar support to stop anything from setting up. Heatran also acts as my special wall and phaser. Also helps me get rid of threats like Bisharp and Scizor.

My team at this point has big water weakness. So I decided to add in a semi bulky water type to soak up any water weaknesses. I like Manaphy because it can take a water attack and set up upon a switch and energy ball wrecks Rotom-W.

I needed a defog user since this team is going to be switching in an out alot, and at the same time keep the offensive momentum going. Latias is also good for healing wish support if they're SR is down.

I already had knock off support with landorus so i wanted to add in a fast mixed sweeper and someone with acess to taunt. Mega-Venasaur was looking to be a major problem so psycho boost works great. And Taunt keeps other walls in check.

In Depth Look

Landorus-T

Choice Scarf Landorus-T is so unexpected as normally this thing is a defensive pivot, running SR and a ground plate or lefties. Knowing this it is easy to play mind games with Lando. I can OHKO a slow threat and then the opponent tends to bring out something faster such as Starmie or Greninja. Which if not scarfed after rocks Lando handles with ease. Adamant Nature for max attacking peaking at 427 w/ 252 Atk evs invested. With Scarf and max Speed Evs his speeds tops at 421, fast enough to outspeed any non-scarfed poke other than Deoxsys-S. U-turn for standard scarfers and to handle Greninja is base typing, and to keep offensive momentum. Earthquake for standard powerful STAB. Knock Off > Superpower, was a tough choice. However i found more often that Landorus immediate counters were Levitate Psychic or Ghost types, i.e Latias, Gengar, or Rotom-W. Or defensive walls like Slowbro or Ferrothorn. These are easily predictable so knock off OHKOs Gengar, and the Lati-twins (no def evs invested), and severely cripples slowbro, which without eviolite is basically nothing. Stone Edge, for flying coverage against Charizard Y, and Talonflame.

Mega-Manectric

Manectric @ Manecite
Ability: Lightning Rod > Intimidate Evs: | 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SpDef

Timid Nature

Thunderbolt
-
FireIC_Big.png
Flamethrower
-
IceIC_Big.png
Hp Ice

Manectric couldn't have been more blessed in this generation. Manectric works as a good volt-turn core with landorus who resists the EQ from Dragonite and Garchomp. Manectric runs lightning rod pre-mega so he can use the 1.5x boost from any electric attacks coming at Manaphy and in conjunction with landorus are able to break each others walls. 252 Speeds evs to peak at 405 Spd in order to outspeed greninjas which really isnt a threat but i like to have the upper hand. Flamethrower works great in 2HKO Ferrothorns and OHKO Scizors. Hp Ice handles ground types late game, like donphan after rocks break sash and withered down garchomps. Flamethrower deals around 39-42% to Excadrill which is a guaranteed 2HKO if i dont need manectric late game and im wiling to overpredict.

Deoxsys-S

Psycho Boost

Superpower

IceIC_Big.png
Ice Beam

Deoxsys works as my stallbreaker and a late cleaner. 252 spd evs and 252 sp atk to outspeed almost anything in the tier non scarfed. Mild nature because im running superpower for a mixed setup incase psycho boost goes off the the SpAtk drop makes this thing useless. Life Orb because it has decent offensives but it needs all the power it can get. Up to this point Ferrothorn and Mega-Venasaur were able to stall this team out. That's why i added in taunt to stop leech seeding and deoxsys doesn't mind burn from Sableye leads which when taunted and completely useless as Foul Play wont OHKO. Psycho Boost completely ends Mega-Venasaur and Gengar. Ice beam deals nicely with late game dragons and thundurus. I added in Superpower to handle ballooned excadrill incase it thinks it can come in on a psycho boost and set up SR or SD. It also whiddles down Heatran which landorus can come in and clean up later.

Heatran

Calm Nature

Stealth Rock

Protect

Heatran is my designated Stealth Rocker. I wanted to keep the offensive theme going but i needed a SR setter who could last. As defog is so common and SR really helps out on this team as sashes can be a real pain. So i decided to make Heatran a wall in order to keep him alive as long as possible. Lava Plume/Fire Blast, the choice wasn't too hard. Lava Plume has a higher chance of burning which i do like over the chance of missing and power over Fire Blast. Also i really dont need the extra heat to handle other steel types as My sweepers can all take them on. Heatran really only fears physcial water types like Azumarill which often is a counter. Roar>Toxic this team runs taunt and roar helps me stop suspected belly drum azumarills or any calm mind setter in general plus Aegislashes that hide behind subs.

Manaphy

-
GrassIC_Big.png
Energy Ball

Manaphy is the cutest threat alive! Manaphy saps up ice and water attacks and is my setup sweeper. Wacan berry to reduce electric moves guaranteeing at least a one hit survival against non boosted sweepers ensuring at least one tail glow. Evs are standard special sweeper, and timid nature > Modest because it really doesn't need the extra special attack when it gets a +3 special attack boost and 298 speed is pitiful. Surf for regular STAB and ice beam to hit flying/dragons and break through multiscale Dragonite. Energy Ball is a savior when dealing with Rotom-W which OHKO after tail glow. This thing also does a great job of dealing with a threat of mine which i dont like at all Mamoswine. It can take a EQ and Ice Shard and still live and set up right in that things face.

Latias

Latias @ Life Orb

Healing Wish

Latias is my defogger. I hate dealing with spikes, rocks, screens, and such so i love that latias ability to handle it. Her Evs are so it can take a couple hits because she has impressive natural bulk so i didnt really need to invest anything too much in her. Speed is so she can get off a defog before any potentially lethal attacks come her way. Draco Meteor for Obvious STAB. Psyshock for Special Walls and Healing wish for any last minute desperate situations where i need my sweepers back up.
