Intro:
Welcome to my rmt! This is a pretty awesome team that I made for the new hoopa meta.
This mega medicham team is pretty amazing to say the least. This is simply because of how well it works as a whole which you will see later in the rmt. Basically the team has trouble with certain pokemon and in order to make sure we dont auto lose vs those mons I used chandelure as a lure. The way the team was built is pretty simple with a balence breaker + wallbreaker core which is really simple but at the same time really effective. With that said enjoy this Rmt!
Proof of Peak:

Teambuilding Process:

As I said, I started with Mega Medicham. The first thing that came to mind was the dual priority set, but that didn't work so well, so I changed fake out to ice punch which works much better.

Since Talonflame is death to medicham, i needed the counter. Voila my rocks setter rocky helmet garchomp.

At this point I was weak to manaphy. Thundy fit the bill because of Medicham's lackluster speed, t-wave came in real handy.

I needed something that dealt massive instant damage. I considered Banded Dragonite but banded-lando-t makes walls crumble.

Weavile somehow makes it on all my teams eventually. It's speed + attack + priority make it great for cleaning up lategame. Plus, I can get rid of Conk and Scizor w/ medicham.

This last slot was up for grabs, but i found scarf-chandelure works the best, helping to kill bulky physical walls, lati's etc.
The Team:

Medicham (M) @ Medichamite
Ability: Pure Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Punch
- High Jump Kick
- Zen Headbutt
- Bullet Punch
What can I say. High Jump Kick is overall a really strong stab move that OHKO's half the meta, and 2HKO's the other. Zen headbutt is another good stab which together with hjk + ice punch gives it good coverage. Bp is for cleaning with that insane attack stat, and for some less bulky fairies (cough Mega Gardevoir).

Garchomp (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Toxic
Look it's the most used pokemon in ou. Oh well, there is not much to say about this set. It is pretty standerd, and just allows it to switch in on physical attackers, and make then pay. It also helps against those other pesky tanks to wear them down with toxic. I had fire blast in that slot, but I changed it for toxic because I already have medicham and thunderus.

Thundurus @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
Oh god this thing gives people migranes. Thunder wave is so damn helpful for medicham and landorus, and t-bolt hits those pesky bulky waters hard. Focus Blast is helpful for steels, and of course, hp ice for those gliscors, chomps, non-scarfed lando-t's (Which are a lot more common than the scarf varient).

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 SpD / 248 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Fly
- Knock Off
Oh lord, this is the stuff of nightmares. Seriously, this makes people click (X) more than the nastiest stall teams. It is easy to win with, use thundy, weavile, and medicham to get rid of all flying/levite/ice priority mons respectively and then click earthquake and win. Also i think explosion OHKO's any mon in the meta that is not rock/steel/ghost, and for those we have knock off and EQ. Use fly for secondary STAB that suprises a lot of people.

Weavile (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Swords Dance
Weavile is an all around good mon that helps to deal with the faster mons that give the others trouble. I had low kick on here, but I found that people expect it so much that once the opposing scizor/conk is dead, I can SD on an opponent's switch out and sweep.

Chandelure (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
One would not believe how handy this thing is to have when there is an opposing threat on the field that has just KO'd one of my pokemon. It comes in and kills. The scarf gives it the necessary speed to kill things like weavile, latios, mega sceptile, alakazam, etc...
The Play-style:
This is very easy. All you have to do is weaken things with the wall-breakers + Thundy, weaken weaviles checks w/ chomp and then bring in chandelure to kill everything else, and have weavile clean up.
Thanks for reading guys, please give me any suggestions. I am laddering, and will edit later with peak.
