Defensive Hazard Setter (Ting Lu) @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin

[SET COMMENTS]
Ting-Lu's enormous HP combined with Vessel of Ruin makes it a fantastic defensive anchor against Pokemon such as Gholdengo, Volcarona, and Raging Bolt. This makes Ting-Lu a strong entry hazard setter as well, since many hazard removal options such as Terapagos and Moltres can't dissuade Ting-Lu from setting up hazards on them due to its bulk. To ensure it isn't completely passive against Flying-types, Ruination is necessary, which combined with hazard support allows Ting-Lu to force recovery from defensive Pokemon like Corviknight and Mega Latias. Spikes can be used instead of Stealth Rock if the team already has a Stealth Rock setter. Spikes also does better long-term damage if all three layers are set, especially to Pokemon that don't run Heavy-Duty Boots such as Gholdengo, Ferrothorn, and Mega Venusaur. Whirlwind is needed to ensure Ting-Lu isn't setup fodder against threats that don't mind taking Ruination Volcarona and Swords Dance Gliscor while also helping wear down opposing teams with Ting-Lu's hazards. Finally, Leftovers provides Ting-Lu with passive recovery, healing off weak attacks such as Tornadus-T's U-turn and Dragapult's Shadow Ball while also allowing it to survive attacks it otherwise wouldn't, such as avoiding the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Koko's Dazzling Gleam.

A major downside of Ting-Lu is its complete lack of recovery options, making Alomomola a fantastic partner that can also Water-types such as Urshifu-R and Barraskewda while healing Ting-Lu up with Wish. In return, Ting-Lu makes up for Alomomola's passivity against Gholdengo and Raging Bolt with its defensive profile combined with Whirlwind, wearing them down rapidly. Alomomola also handles Great Tusk for Ting-Lu, which would otherwise threaten Ting-Lu while removing its hazards easily. Another excellent defensive partner is Mega Venusaur, which is able to come in against the Water-, Fighting-, and Grass-types that threaten out Ting-Lu such as Kartana and Iron Valiant while appreciating Ting-Lu's hazard support to wear down opposing teams faster with its wide coverage. On offensive teams where they may not mind Ting-Lu's lack of longevity, Zamazenta, Iron Valiant, and Dragapult all appreciate the chip damage Ting-Lu provides with hazards wearing down defensive switch-ins such as Landorus-T, Mega Venusaur, and Kingambit. Gholdengo in particular is also able to block Defog attempts from Tornadus-T and Corviknight and Rapid Spin from Great Tusk especially if it is holding Air Balloon. Partners like Weavile and Ogerpon-W are also notable, since they can use Knock Off to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from targets like Alomomola and Toxapex, making them much easier to wear down in the long run.

Ting Lu's enormous HP combined with Vessel of Ruin makes it a fantastic defensive anchor against Pokemon such as Gholdengo, Volcarona and Raging Bolt. This attribute makes Ting Lu a strong hazard setter as well, since not many hazard removal options such as Zapdos (defog Zap is horrific from my experience) or Moltres can dissuade Ting Lu from setting up on them due to its bulk. To ensure it isn't completely passive into these Flying-types though, Ruination is necessary, which combined with hazard support, allows Ting Lu to force recovery from other defensive Pokemon like Alomomola (mola's running boots) or Garganacl. Stealth Rock is the main hazard used due to its consistent damage output, although Spikes can be used instead if the team already has a Stealth Rock setter, while it deals more damage to Steel-types like Ferrothorn or Kingambit. phrase it as Spikes doing better long-term damage into defensive teams if 3 layers go up Whirlwind is needed to ensure Ting Lu isn't passive into other threats like Urshifu-R or Iron Valiant who don't mind taking Ruination, while it too helps wear down opposing teams with Ting Lu's hazards. Finally, Leftovers provides Ting Lu with passive recovery, healing off of weak attacks such as Tornadus-T's U-turn or Dragapult's Shadow Ball, while also allowing it to survive attacks it otherwise wouldn't, such as avoiding the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Koko's Dazzling Gleam.

A major downside of Ting Lu is its complete lack of recovery options, making Alomomola a fantastic partner, who can pivot into Water-types such as Urshifu-R and Barraskewda, while healing Ting Lu up with Wish. In return, Ting Lu makes up for Alomomola's passivity into Gholdengo and Raging Bolt with its defensive profile combined with Whirlwind. Another excellent defensive partner is Mega Venusaur, who is able to come into the Water- , Fighting- and Grass-types that threaten out Ting Lu such as Kartana or Iron Valiant, while appreciating Ting Lu's hazard support to wear down opposing teams faster with its wide coverage. On the offensive side, Zamazenta, Iron Valiant, Dragapult and Gholdengo all appreciate the chip damage Ting Lu provides with hazards, the latter being especially useful to block Rapid Spin and Defog from threats like Great Tusk and Tornadus-T. (imo separate Ghold into a specific line here, it blocks hazard removal and deals with the aforementioned threats to an extent) Partners like Weavile and Ogerpon-W are also notable since they can use Knock Off to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from targets like Slowking-G or Clodsire (neither of these are staying in on either mon, use things like Mola and Pex), making them much easier to wear down in the long run.

To ensure it isn't completely passive into Flying-types though, Ruination is necessary, which combined with hazard support, allows Ting Lu to force recovery from other defensive Pokemon like opposing Ting Lu what recovery? Either specify with a WishPass or pick something else or Garganacl. Stealth Rock is the main hazard used due to its consistent damage output, although Spikes can be used instead if the team already has a Stealth Rock setter. It also does better long-term damage if all three layers go up, especially to Pokemon that don't run Heavy-Duty Boots such as Gholdengo, Ferrothorn and Mega Venusaur. Whirlwind is needed to ensure Ting Lu isn't setup fodder into other threats like Urshifu-R I think Bulkarona would be a better mention since Ting-Lu is generally tasked with checking it and Urshifu does heavy damage to it or Iron Valiant I don't hate the Ival mention but is there another Pokemon that we can mention who doesn't threaten heavy damage by just outright attacking it? who don't mind taking Ruination, while it too helps wear down opposing teams with Ting Lu's hazards.

You could also talk about how Ting Lu can fit well on offensive teams since it gives them a defensive fallback while they don't really mind its lack of long term staying power. In return, Ting Lu makes up for Alomomola's passivity into Gholdengo and Raging Bolt with its defensive profile combined with Whirlwind, forcing them to be worn down rapidly. Mention ways to deal with Tusk in particular since thats a Spinner that Ting Lu hates seeing, could either be by talking about Air Balloon Ghold where you mention it or other checks like Mola or Slowbro.

Consulting the Spelling and Grammar Standards would eliminate 90% of your errors: Ting-Lu instead of Ting Lu, use of oxford comma, not using who, etc. Your writing is really solid otherwise.

"Stealth Rock is the main hazard used due to its consistent damage output, although Spikes can be used instead if the team already has a Stealth Rock setter." This sentence seemed fluffy, but I was unsure how to restructure it to maintain information so I just left it as is.

Ting-Lu's enormous HP combined with Vessel of Ruin makes it a fantastic defensive anchor against Pokemon such as Gholdengo, Volcarona, and Raging Bolt. This makes Ting-Lu a strong entry hazard setter as well, since many hazard removal options such as Terapagos or and hazard removal options = plural Moltres can't dissuade Ting-Lu from setting up hazards on them due to its bulk. To ensure it isn't completely passive into against "into" isnt really proper grammar its more or less slang that we like to use, so not suitable for analysis imo Flying-types, Ruination is necessary, which combined with hazard support allows Ting-Lu to force recovery from defensive Pokemon like Corviknight or and same as above, defensive Pokemon is plural Mega Latias. Stealth Rock is the main hazard used due to its consistent damage output, although talked to someone and we agreed this is the dex info part Spikes can be used instead of Stealth Rock if the team already has a Stealth Rock setter. Spikes also does better long-term damage if all three layers are set, especially to Pokemon that don't run Heavy-Duty Boots such as Gholdengo, Ferrothorn, (AC) you missed an oxford comma and Mega Venusaur. Whirlwind is needed to ensure Ting-Lu isn't setup fodder into against threats that don't mind taking Ruination that > which for restrictive clauses, moved up from later like bulky set names of other pokemon should not be referenced in analyses, so this is assumed to not be a set name Volcarona or and Swords Dance Gliscor which don't mind taking Ruination while also helping wear down opposing teams with Ting-Lu's hazards. Finally, Leftovers provides Ting-Lu with passive recovery, healing off weak attacks such as Tornadus-T's U-turn or and Dragapult's Shadow Ball while also allowing it to survive attacks it otherwise wouldn't, such as avoiding the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Koko's Dazzling Gleam.

A major downside of Ting-Lu is its complete lack of recovery options, making Alomomola a fantastic partner which that can also this is subjective - but it reads way better and is a small enough change anyway pivot into <= this is a different case since pivoting into something is a real term whereas matchup into something is slang Water-types such as Urshifu-R and Barraskewda while healing Ting-Lu up with Wish. Another excellent defensive partner is Mega Venusaur, which is able to come in against the Water-(removed space), Fighting-, and Grass-types that threaten out (removed space)Ting-Lu such as Kartana or and Iron Valiant while appreciating Ting-Lu's hazard support to wear down opposing teams faster with its wide coverage. Gholdengo in particular is also able to block Defog attempts from Tornadus-T and Corviknight and Rapid Spin from Great Tusk especially since technically nothing is stopping you from clicking dengo into tusk and doubling if you have the balls if it is holding Air Balloon. Partners like Weavile and Ogerpon-W are also notable, since they can use Knock Off to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from targets like Alomomola or and Toxapex, making them much easier to wear down in the long run.
