[OVERVIEW]
Togedemaru stands out as one of the best Choice Scarf users in the tier thanks to its solid Speed tier, great offensive and defensive typing that allows it to check Pokemon such as Archeops and Whimsicott, ability to gain momentum through U-turn, and good abilities. Its unique defensive typing and access to recovery in Wish also makes Togedemaru a useful special wall for taking on certain difficult threats such as Vanilluxe and Vikavolt. However, despite its excellent set of resistances, its mediocre bulk and an unreliable recovery move limits Togedemaru's ability to directly switch into threats. Sitting at base 96 Speed, it is one of the fastest Choice Scarf users and can outspeed boosted setup sweepers like Omastar and Silvally-Fairy. However, Togedemaru fails to OHKO many of these Pokemon due to its only average Attack stat and coverage options. Togedemaru faces strong competition as a specially defensive Steel-type from the noticeably bulkier Silvally-Steel and Galarian Stunfisk and as a Wish passer from Vaporeon and Aromatisse due to their much higher HP stats.

move 4: Toxic / Encore

[SET COMMENTS]
Toxic is useful for crippling switch-ins like Palossand and Vikavolt rather than merely pivoting out with U-turn, while Encore is more effective at annoying bulky setup sweepers such as Scrafty. Lightning Rod is useful for pivoting into Volt Switch users such as Rotom and Heliolisk, but the chip damage from Iron Barbs is preferred if there is already an Electric-immune Pokemon on the team. Iron Barbs also helps defeat opposing Choice Scarf Togedemaru. While Togedemaru can be used throughout the match to tank some resisted hits, it is best brought in as a revenge killer or through slow pivots such as Lanturn and Uxie, which form a VoltTurn core with it. Due to Togedemaru's poor damage output, it appreciates entry hazards from the likes of Gigalith and Froslass to help wear down its foes. Wallbreakers such as Virizion and Magmortar can also help wear down the opposing team so Togedemaru can potentially clean late-game, and they also serve as checks for threats to Togedemaru such as Palossand and Vikavolt, respectively.

move 4: U-turn / Toxic
item: Heavy-Duty Boots / Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
ability: Iron Barbs / Lightning Rod

Iron Head is Togedemaru's attacking move of choice because it better threatens Pokemon Togedemaru is aiming to check such as Vanilluxe and Whimsicott and does not leave Togedemaru unable to hit Ground-types. U-turn allows Togedemaru to slightly circumvent its passivity by pivoting on predicted switches, but Toxic cripples many Pokemon that Togedemaru cannot do much damage to such as Vikavolt. Heavy-Duty Boots significantly decreases Togedemaru's weakness to Spikes, Leftovers helps make it slightly less reliant on Wish, and Rocky Helmet in tandem with Iron Barbs allows Togedemaru to punish a wide variety of contact attackers. However, Lightning Rod can again be used instead to stop Volt Switch users such as Vikavolt and Heliolisk. A Jolly nature alongside 28 Speed EVs allows Togedemaru to outspeed Modest Vanilluxe. Togedemaru can support many teammates lacking recovery with Wish, such as Weezing and Uxie, both of which also help against the Fighting-and Ground-types that threaten Togedemaru. Setup sweepers that can take advantage of Fighting- and Ground-types, such as Nasty Plot Mesprit and Quiver Dance Ribombee, appreciate being brought in through Togedemaru's U-turn.

[OVERVIEW]
Togedemaru stands as one of the best Choice Scarf users in the tier thanks to its solid speed tier, great typing, and ability to gain momentum through U-turn. (it also lightning to deny volt switch mons from getting free momentum) It can also be run decently effectively as a special defense wall and Wish passer thanks to its typing. (mention what that allows it to wall) Sitting at base 96 Speed makes it once of the fastest Choice Scarf users, only outdone by the rare Choice Scarf Heliolisk. (it can also revenge kill stuff like timid omastar and sd silvally forms) Its Electric/Steel typing allows it to serve as an alright switchin for various Pokemon such as Ribombee, Mesprit, and Whimsicott, although the combination of mediocre bulk and no recovery means its Choice Scarf set cannot switch in too many times. (feel like it'd be better to mention this higher up when talking about its typing) Offensively, Choice Scarf Togedemaru has STAB coverage that allows it to revenge kill Pokemon such as Archeops, Talonflame, and Arctovish. (this too; it can go in the opening sentence) However, Togedemaru fails to OHKO many of these Pokemon due to its only average attack stat and move options (coverage? maybe idk) Because of this, Choice Scarf users with higher attacking stats or moves such as Passimian and Rotom give it competition as a Choice Scarf user. Togedemaru gets even more competition as a specially defensive Steel-type from Pokemon like Silvaly-Steel and Galarian Stunfisk and as a Wish passer from Vaporeon and Aromatisse due to their much higher HP stats. However, it is Togedemaru's combination of its typing and access to Wish that makes it viable. (and gives it a niche over them)

U-turn allows Togedemaru to gain momentum throughout the match while Toxic can be used on incoming defensive checks such as Palossand and Druddigon. However, when using U-turn stay warry of Pokemon like Rocky Helmet Weezing and Rough Skin Druddigon as they wear Togedemaru down. (i feel like this is already obvious enough) Togedemaru itself can accomplish the same by running Iron Barbs, while also punishing moves like Sneasel's Triple Axel and Scyther's Dual Wingbeat. Lightning Rod can also be used if your team lacks an Electric immunity so you can stop Pokemon such as Heliolisk and Rotom from freely using Volt Switch. While Togedemaru can be used throughout the match to take some resisted hits, it is best brought in as a revenge killer or through slow pivots such as Lanturn and Uxie, (or, well, after a mon has died) which form a voltturn core with it. Due to Togedemaru's lacking damage output, it appreciates hazards which can wear down foes and put them in range. Good examples of hazard setters are Roserade, Gigalith, and the previously mentioned Uxie. Wallbreakers such as Virizion and Magmortar can also help wear down the opposing team while also serving as checks for threats to Togedemaru such as Palossand and Vikavolt, respectively. (it can also sometimes clean after wallbreakers are done doing their job)

Spiky Shield works well alongside Wish as it protects it the turn that Wish activates while having other uses such as scouting moves from choice-locked Pokemon like Passimian and Choice Scarf Rotom. Iron Head is Togedemaru's attacking move of choice because it hits Pokemon Togedemaru is aiming to check such as Vanilluxe and Whimsicott. U-turn gains momentum but also means teammates it is trying to pass Wish to don't have to come in on prediction or take an unnecessary hit. However, Toxic can be used in this slot to help cripple bulky Pokemon such as Palossand and Vaporeon while also pairing well with Spiky Shield to slowly wear foes down. (reword this part) Leftovers is good to further help Togedemaru healthy but Rocky Helmet is another option to punish various attacks such as Uxie's U-turn and Archeop's Dual Wingbeat, especially if run alongside Iron Barbs. However, Lightning Rod can again be used instead to stop Volt Switch users such as Vikavolt and Heliolisk. Max HP is also important so Togedemaru can heal its teammates as much as possible with Wish while Jolly alongside 28 Speed allows Togedemaru to outspeed Modest Vanilluxe. The rest of the EVs are put into Special Defense so Togedemaru can check special attackers such as Vanilluxe, Heliolisk, and Ribombee. Togedemaru can also switch into various resisted hits from Pokemon like Braviary, Archeops, and Silvally-Fairy, but has to watch out for coverage from all of them. Good teammates are physical walls that lack recovery themselves so they benefit from Wish such as Weezing and Uxie, both of which also help against Fighting-and Ground-types that threaten Togedemaru. (mention mons that appreciate togedemaru bringing them in via u-turn

It can also be run decently effectively as a Wish passer and specially defense wall against special attackers such as Vanilluxe, Heliolisk, and Ribombee thanks to its typing. Sitting at base 96 Speed makes it once of the fastest Choice Scarf users and can outspeed boosted set up sweepers like +2 Shell Smash Omastar and +1 Flame Charge Silvally-Fairy. U-turn allows Togedemaru to gain momentum throughout the match don't even need to explain U-turn, just like its stab moves while Toxic can be used on incoming defensive checks such as Palossand and Druddigon. Togedemaru itself can accomplish the same by running Iron Barbs, while also punishing moves like Sneasel's Triple Axel and Scyther's Dual Wingbeat. Lightning Rod can also be used if your team lacks an Electric immunity so you can stop Pokemon such as Heliolisk and Rotom from freely using Volt Switch. would also change the order the abilities are mentioned if they're changed above While Togedemaru can be used throughout the match to take some resisted hits, it is best brought in as a revenge killer or through slow pivots such as Lanturn and Uxie, which form a voltturn capitalize Volt-Turn core with it. Due to Togedemaru's lacking mediocre is a better word damage output, it appreciates hazards which can wear down foes and put them in range. Good examples of hazard setters are Roserade not this one anymore, Gigalith, and the previously mentioned Uxie. However, Toxic can be used in this slot while also pairing well with Spiky Shield to slowly wear foes down this sentence makes no sense, toxic is slashed with u-turn not iron head. you should be explaining the pros and cons of toxic vs u-turn. Rocky Helmet is another item option to punish various attacks such as Uxie's U-turn and Archeop's Dual Wingbeat, especially if run alongside Iron Barbs. However, Lightning Rod can again be used instead to stop Volt Switch users such as Vikavolt and Heliolisk. Jolly alongside 28 Speed allows Togedemaru to outspeed Modest Vanilluxe. Togedemaru can also switch into various resisted hits from Pokemon like Braviary, Archeops, and Silvally-Fairy, but has to watch out for coverage from all of them I have no clue why this sentence is here you've made the point several times before and it's kind of a given.
