Too many stickies in Stark

I counted 8 'Stickied' threads. While convenient it also makes the forum feel cluttered. So if there was some way to reduce it down to like... 3 or less that would be nice.
 
That would be good, some that are always bumped could be un-stickied, like the "ask a simple question get a simple answer" thread. It would never go below 5 threads.

Whats the point if its gonna be there anyways lol? The threads that are being posted in are popular enough that they would be there anyways without being stickied, and the ones that aren't being posted in are their for information and to get the word out. For example the one about IRC.
 
I see no problem with the current set-up, but maybe all the informational stickies could become regular topics, and one sticky could simply provide the links to all of them.
 
To be honest, of the 8 current stickies, 3 are going to be un-stickied quite soon: stage 3 is over and 5th gen is going to be announced in the next weeks, so we'll probably have a single discussion thread for that. I see no need to have a sticky about #stark as it doesn't promote any kind of discussion, nor gives important informations.

That being said, I have no problem at all with having 6 or more stickies in Stark Mountain, as we don't have so many active threads in the forum to require more space on the front page.

Anyway, if Aeolus or any other admin wants less stickies, I think that we may cut some of them.
 
Thanks for replying everyone. That sounds great Haunter. Any reduction in 'clutter' is always a good thing if you ask me.
