Sprites from Pokemon Elite and Arkeis. Its my first RMT, go easy on me.
Intro:
My never ending hate for the aggravating Battle Tower shall finally be avenged, when I break out this team to tear it down.
Attempt after attempt has been thwarted by wither the Tower Tycoon, or the 35th guy, who I can never seem to defeat. This team is completely hellbent on taking down any threat this place has to offer.
The Lineup:
Yep, it's not the most original of sets at first glance.
These guys were the first to achieve beating the Tower Tycoon. Sadly, they tended not to fare long afterwards.
Adding a Garchomp is not terribly original, but it did the job. It allowed Tycoon battles to be much more easy, and it ripped through most mons. Unfortunately, the team has a glaring Ice Weakness.
Gastrodon just had to go. Swampert does the job a bit better, despite the new lack of Recover. Unfortunately, the Ice Weakness still persists.
Though a few other attempts using the Tyrant had gone awry, Garchomp and Tyrannitar fit like puzzle pieces. It killed the Ice Weakness and provided a Sandstorm cover.
Destructor The Calamitous
-Tyrannitar and Swampert can both wall Ice Types, giving Garchomp protection from the alarming Ice Shard.
Tyranntor The Brutal
Tyrannitar @ Choice Band
Adamant Natured, Sand Stream
176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spe
~Crunch
~Stone Edge
~Fire Fang
~Earthquake
Standard Diamond set for Tyrannitar, but with Fire Fang instead of Pursuit. Why? Cause Crunch does it better. You just don't see much switching in Battle Tower, and being stuck with a weak Pursuit will not do the job. Tyrannitar comes in only to put out Sand Stream and to take out whatever bothers Garchomp. Afterwards, Garchomp can sweep more safely with the added Evasion. Plus Sandstorm negates other Focus Sashes from those who take damage from the sand. This allows more sweeping potential in Garchomp.
Tankpert the Rather Bulky
Swampert @ Leftovers
Hardy Natured, Torrent
240 HP, 104 Def, 104 Sp Def, 60 Sp Atk
~Earthquake
~Surf
~Ice beam
~Protect
If I have learned anything in Battle Tower, it's that Battle Tower is NOT like the Metagame, and Stealth Rocks aren't useful when you're not a lead and it is 3vs3. Therfore, Mixpert is a Balanced Tank, and has Protect instead to get a free Leftovers boost whenever it wants. This allows stalling potential, and allows Swampert to take hits from both sides of the Attack spectrum. this overall allows Swampert to take quite a bit more damage, strangely enough, which can be lifesaving.
-The other two have Fire Fang, which cover any Grass Types that come along.
Threat List:
-Weavile can prove a threat to the team, with it's huge speed and high attack. Tyrannitar can wall it for the most part, though.
Other Notes:
-I hope I did well, considering this is my first RMT. Go easy please.

Things I think of while using the set:
-Swampert is the only guy with a Special Move. Fortunately, Garchomp can tear through even strong physical walls with Outrage, as I have learned.
-I don't find Skarmory, Bronzong, or Forrtress to be huge threats, due to a big lack in attack stats.
-Unfortunately, everyone has a 4x weakness. Fortunately, they all generally counter eachother's weaknesses.

Your average, run of the mill Garchomp. But what is this? Focus Sash? Is this a joke? Rub your eyes, cause Chompy uses Focus Sash. Due to the abundance of OHKOers, Ice moves, and Dragon Moves, and teams which specifically are created to take down your teams, the Battle Tower can be hard to predict. With Focus Sash, thinking isn't necessary. Just use Swords Dance, and Sweep. Outrage can put a big dent in just about everything, even if it resists. And not much outspeeds, either.
The only real foe here is Ice Shard, and other occasional Priority Moves that can 2HKO Garchomp. Of course, I just switch when I feel one could be coming.
