Touhou (and the games)

I've recently started to play Touhou, and i managed to get Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Imperishable Night. I really like the style of the games (especially the soundtracks), so i was wondering which games in the series are recommended, which ones are to be avoided, and which ones are a must-get.

IT'S CIRNO DAY ⑨ / ⑨ / ⑨

All the games are great, but some people don't like Embodiment of Scarlet Devil because your hitbox doesn't show when you focus, and Subterranean Animism has only 1 usable character. Avatar and I would recommend Perfect Cherry Blossom for sure. Starting with IN isn't bad since it's the easiest game, I heard.

There are 2 games that are different (besides the fighting ones). Phantasmogoria of Flower view is a VS style shooter, and Shoot the Bullet focuses on using cameras to take photos (I know it sounds weird), so take note of that.
