Battle Spot Toxapex

[SET]
name: Physical Wall
move 1: Scald
move 2: Recover
move 3: Haze
move 4: Toxic / Baneful Bunker
item: Black Sludge
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Toxapex is mostly unchanged from Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in its role in the tier: it aims to wall opposing set-up threats and spread chip status with Scald, Toxic, or Baneful Bunker. Scald is the STAB move of choice, allowing Toxapex to spread burn on opposing physical threats such as Gyarados, Mimikyu, Galarian Darmanitan, and Dragapult as well as crippling fellow defensive Pokemon Ferrothorn and Corviknight. Recover is for longevity and Haze prevents setup from Mimikyu and Gyarados. The last move can be either Toxic or Baneful Bunker. The former can allow Toxapex to use Recover to stall out certain Pokemon like Gyarados, Umbreon, and Snorlax and is useful for crippling Galarian Corsola. The latter allows Toxapex to waste opposing Dynamax turns and take relatively little damage over those three turns. This can be achieved by using Baneful Bunker, Recover and another Baneful Bunker in succession thanks to Toxapex's natural bulk. With Regenerator, Toxapex can also gain health back later in the battle once it no longer needs to wall an opponent. A Bold nature with maximum investment in HP and Defense is preferred for Toxapex due to the abundance of physical threats in the metagame.

Even though Toxapex is generally used as a physical wall, it still has some specially defensive utility. Toxapex is able to wall certain special attackers so long as it is full health such as Scarf Hydreigon, Scarf Dragapult, Sylveon and defensive Rotom formes thanks to its fantastic mixed bulk. Pair Toxapex up with Pokemon that can take Electric- and Ground-type attacks such as the Rotom formes, Ferrothorn and Ground- or Flying-types to help boost its longevity.

Only things I'd add are: change Impish to Bold (Impish makes Scald even weaker lol), and I'd say a sentence mentioning carrying teammates for the electric and ground weaknesses (you dont need to go into much detail, you can just say ground and flying types work well).

Otherwise, QC Approved 1/2!

I think this about covers it, Toxpaex is Toxapex and that hasn't changed much this gen. Let's get that quick QC 2/2 out of the way.

Toxapex is mostly unchanged from Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in its role in the tier.: (remove period) (add colon) it It aims to wall opposing set-up threats and spread chip status with Scald, Toxic, or Baneful Bunker and Toxic/Baneful Bunker. (clarifies that all three can be used to spread chip status rather than a combination of Scald + one of the other two) Scald is the STAB move of choice, allowing Toxapex to spread burns on opposing physical threats such as Gyarados, Mimikyu, Galarian Darmanitan(add comma) and Dragapult as well as crippling fellow defensive Pokemon Ferrothorn and Corviknight. Recover is for longevity and Haze prevents setup from Mimikyu or and Gyarados. The last move can be either be Toxic or Baneful Bunker. The former can allow Toxapex to use Recover to stall out certain Pokemon like Gyarados, Umbreon(add comma) and Snorlax and is useful for crippling Galarian Corsola,. (change the comma for a period) The latter allows Toxapex to waste opposing Dynamax turns and take relatively little damage over a those three turns. dynamax. This can be achieved by using Baneful Bunker, Recover(add comma) and another Baneful Bunker in succession thanks to its Toxapex's natural bulk(add period) and then there exists the possibility of getting health back for later in the battle through Regenerator. With Regenerator, Toxapex can also gain health back later in the battle once it no longer needs to wall an opponent. (the original wording of this seemed unclear, so hopefully this makes it more obvious what Regenerator's purpose is) A Bold nature with maximum investment in HP and Defence Defense is preferred with for Toxapex due to the abundance of physical threats in the metagame.

Even though Toxapex is generally used as a physical wall, it still has some specially defensive utility. Toxapex is still able to wall certain special attackers so long as it is not chipped from full health such as Scarf Hydreigon (without a double flinch on dark pulse), Scarf Dragapult, Sylveon(add comma) and defensive Rotom formes thanks to its fantastic mixed bulk. Pair Toxapex up with Pokemon that can take Electric- and Ground-type (add hyphens) attacks such as the Rotom formes, Ferrothorn(add comma) and Flying/Ground types Ground- or Flying-types to help boost its longevity. (swapped Ground and Flying here to match up with the "Electric and Ground" order of the attacks)

Good stuff, mostly just adding/changing a couple words for readability. GP 1/1.
