Toxicroak makes the competition croak their last breath in ZU! Toxicroak becomes a top-tier wallbreaker and sweeper by utilizing its STAB combination and high-Base Power moves to take down large swathes of the metagame. Life Orb allows it to 2HKO Mesprit and Venusaur with Gunk Shot after Stealth Rock. Sucker Punch lets Toxicroak deal with weakened faster Pokemon such as Jolteon and Charizard. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used to hit Mesprit while also removing items from usual switch-ins such as Sandslash. Tera Dark boosts the power of Sucker Punch and Knock Off, allowing the former to 2HKO Oricorio and the latter to OHKO Choice Scarf Mesprit. Toxicroak fits on a wide range of teams, from Hyper Offense to Balance. Toxicroak's primary struggle is against faster Pokemon such as Jolteon and Sneasel. Therefore, Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Shaymin and Basculin are great partners for it, as they can break down offensive structures while Toxicroak can handle defensive Pokemon such as Snorlax and Lanturn they might struggle with.

Life Orb is used to boost Toxicroaks damage up even further, allowing (dex info) allows it to 2HKO Mesprit and Venusaur with Gunk Shot after Stealth Rocks. Swords Dance can make Toxicroak a great late game cleaner, able to pick off chipped Pokemon and wallbreak much more effectively. (dex info) Sucker Punch can allow Toxicroak to deal with weakened faster Pokemon such as Jolteon and Charizard. Alternatively, Knock Off can be used to hit Mesprit for super effective damage, while also removing items from usual switch ins such as Sandslash. Tera Dark boosts the power of either Sucker Punch or Knock Off, allowing the former to 2HKO Rotom-Mow Charizard (more relevant mon in current meta, since this is the second zard usage you could also go for oricorio or basculin) and the later to OHKO Choice Scarf Mesprit. Toxicroak fits on a wide range of teams, from HO to Balance. Toxicroaks primary struggle is against faster Pokemon such as Jolteon and Sneasel. Therefore, Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Shaymin and Basculin are great partners for it, as they can break down offensive structures while Toxicroak can handle defensive Pokemon such as Snorlax and Lanturn they might struggle with.
