Toxicroak @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast / Vacuum Wave
- Shadow Ball / Vacuum Wave

Meet Toxicroak, one of NU's most fearsome wallbreakers. Utilizing the boost from Life Orb and Nasty Plot, Toxicroak can tear through many different foes with its plentiful coverage options. Common defensive Pokemon such as Eldegoss, Clefairy, and Alcremie are threatened by Sludge Bomb, while traditional answers to Fighting-types such as Sandaconda, Weezing, and Cofagrigus cannot handle the sheer power of Nasty Plot-boosted Focus Blast or Shadow Ball. Furthermore, Toxicroak is able to support its teammates with Vacuum Wave, allowing it to revenge kill weakened foes. Toxicroak is susceptible to being revenge killed by faster threats such as Froslass, Rotom, and Choice Scarf Sawk, so checks to them such as Silvally-Dark and Cofagrigus are appreciated. Pivots such as Decidueye and Silvally-Steel also make for great partners, since they can safely bring Toxicroak into battle while luring in walls such as Weezing and Cofagrigus for it to take advantage of.

the line about Sludge Bomb is not very useful for a spotlight and can just be removed in favor of a line about how Nasty Plot Toxicroak sits on many typical answers to Fighting-types because of its great coverage and power (think Weezing and Cofagrigus). this can basically also function as a way to avoid writing whole ass sentences about what Focus Blast and Shadow Ball do. I'd probably reword those sentences to talk about how Toxicroak is great at threatening common defensive Pokemon and bypassing traditional Fighting-type checks courtesy of its coverage and power. you can keep the sentence about Vacuum Wave, but there's probably a way to better fit it in flow wise.

ding me when that's done, may have you add something else about teammates

add something about pivots that can get croak in vs stuff it dunks on (an example being decidueye drawing in weezing)

qc 1/1 after that

Common defensive Pokemon such as Eldegoss, Clefairy, and Alcremie are threatened by Sludge Bomb, (AC) and while traditional answers to Fighting-types such as Sandaconda, Weezing, and Cofagrigus cannot handle the sheer power of Nasty Plot-(AH)boosted Focus Blast or Shadow Ball. Furthermore, Toxicroak is able to support its teammates with Vacuum Wave, allowing it to revenge kill weakened foes. Toxicroak is susceptible to being revenge killed by faster threats such as Froslass, Rotom, and Choice Scarf Sawk, so checks to them such as Silvally-Dark and Cofagrigus respectively are appreciated. (Can't use "respectively" in a scenario where there's 3 examples and then only 2 following it) Pivots such as Decidueye and Silvally-Steel also make for great partners, (AC) since they can safely bring in Toxicroak into battle while luring in walls such as Weezing and Cofagrigus for it to take advantage of.
