TR team, 6 Gen

Trying to make a competitive TR team for gen 6 without much help from smogon has been very difficult, and I'm trying to stay a bit unconventional while utilizing new typings/mega etc. It's worked very well on showdown and it's definitely because of the unpredictability- I'm open to any suggestions

so for my first RMT here's the gen 6 TR team (first draft)

TR Setters:

Victini
Victini w/ Macho Brace
Ability: Victory Star
Brave nature
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 HP, 4 Def (0 speed IVs)
  • Trick Room
  • V-Create
  • Fusion Bolt
  • U-Turn/Final Gambit
For Victini, I like both u-turn and final gambit, but the gambit isn't as useful because I experience very few threats. Moving first under TR, most water types are taken down and he serves as a great flying-type counter (Gale Force Talonflame is a huge problem), maybe adding trick to get Victini up for out of TR play, ALSO: nicknames would be appreciated

Porygon 2
Porygon2 w/ eviolite
Ability: Trace
Bold nature
EVs: 252 Def, 252 HP, 4 SpDef (0 speed IVs)
  • Trick Room
  • T-bolt
  • Ice Beam
  • Recover
The best TR setter not weak to dark-types, and equipped with boltbeam coverage, Porygon2 is the safest bet to lead for me. Also a great counter to Greninja because he gains protean and OHKOs with tbolt. Pretty standard TR setter and set.

Maybe I just really like pixies, the two compliment each other well, but Aegislash after a swords dance is a threat to take out two of my setters. I keep Celebi at 100 speed so he can be used late-game, and his dual stab is doing exactly what it needs to, taking out water types and psychic is usually used for neutral coverage

Azumarill
Azumarill w/ life orb
Ability: Huge Power
Brave nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def (0 Spe IVs)
  • Aqua Jet
  • Waterfall
  • Play Rough
  • Ice Punch/Belly drum
I love the new fairy Azumarill because Play Rough is just unreal. The last slot is only in question because PR hits dragons and Honchkrow, only Gliscor would really be taken down. I usually use Belly Drum later then spam the STABs. Obviously + life orb isn't ideal because that's a maximum 5 Atks, not including damage from the other team. All-in-all I really like this mon.

Excadrill
Excadrill w/ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
Brave Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 SpDef 0 Spe
  • EQ
  • Rapid Spin
  • Swords Dance
  • Iron Head
This is very straightforward. Iron Head to deal with fairies, Swords Dance is for the long term sweeps that rarely occur or for when I need to wallbreak, Spinning is necessary because of all my switching and EQ is for raw power. Also since mold breaker hasn't been banned yet it deals with rotom and levitators

Heracross Heracross w/ Heracrossite
Ability: Moxie --> Skill Link
Brave Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def, 0 Spe
  • Rock Blast
  • Pin Missile
  • Arm Thrust
  • Bullet Seed
The 185 Attack is just too good, but I'm considering a swords dance instead of Bullet Seed. The final slot is between him, Mega Ampharos or Mega Mawile, but Heraboss is the best one in playing, with such good coverage in 4 skill link moves.


Any suggestions welcome! I'm super new at this.
