NOC Tracker Jailer Follower - Game Thread - Day 5!

1. des121 - day 6
2. Dead by Daylight - endgame
3. genisu - day 4
4. Evie - night 1
5. ShyPebble - night 5
6. AirC - end game
7. Peum - night 4
8. Miyami~~~ - didn't play
9. phoopes - day 5
10. pulsar512b - end game
11. ImaginaryNeon - didn't play
12. Celever - didn't play
13. jalmont - didn't play

according to who lasted the longest in the last game, the most equitable people to vote out would be DBD, AirC, or pulsar

so I guess phoopes is lucky this time around!

so to keep the day going forward with actual information, I suggest another question.

If des were town, is the mafia trying to push her or are they just watching?
or if des were mafia, is the mafia trying to defend her?

Based on my observations there are 3 sides

Pushing des: Evie and Miyami
Defending Des: Imaginary Neon, Celever and Peum
Watching: Geniusx (I cant say they've defended her just making one post) and everyone else.

We'll see more people join one side or the other after they wake up but right now its like this.
I'm not geniusx lol

Wdym equitable, like equal playtime across the 2 games?

I think Cel said it's to eliminate the advantage info the maf get cause they'd have more info on the set-up cuz I guess maf get diff roles too depending on the set-up vs us who don't know what could be floating around. Checking the set-up options, it would reveal if we're up against a maf RBer/Cop or just the goons which might help our more powerful town roles?

Setup 1
2x Town Masons
1x Town Jailkeeper
7x VT
-----
3x Mafia Goon
Setup 2
1x Town Jailkeeper
1x Town Tracker
8x VT
-----
3x Mafia Goon
Setup 3
1x Town Tracker
1x Town Follower
8x VT
-----
3x Mafia Goon
Setup 4
1x Town Tracker
1x Town Jailkeeper
1x Town Follower
7x VT
-----
2x Mafia Goon
1x Mafia Roleblocker OR Rolecop (mafia choice)
Setup 5
1x Town Follower
1x Town Innocent Child
1x Town Doctor
7x VT
-----
2x Mafia Goon
1x Mafia Roleblocker OR Rolecop (mafia choice)
I think if it's the Masons, then we know we're up against some goons, and if it's the inno-child then it's a RBer or Role Cop.

And if we don't have any claims for those two roles then it's narrowed down to like 3 options, and it doesn't out any of our powerful roles to claim/not claim Mason/Inno child, iirc.

Plus if it is either of those, well maybe not both the masons, then Jailkeep can protect a Mason and the Doc could protect inno child so it's like an instant safe clear. Worst case if it's none of those idk how much it hurts us to actually find that out.

So I'm for claiming/not claiming specifically those two roles (Mason or Inno Child) and nothing else, but idk if that's the strat we wanna go with
Also, what is an LHF?

What sort of information advantage is the mafia getting by knowing the setup?

How is my life or anyone's life changed by knowing if the mafia has a roleblocker or role cop. I guess we can vote off anyone who tries to claim role cop!

The point is that des isnt being pushed as mafia, as opposed to being pushed as a mafia member, so it gives leeway for mafia members to defend her and not risk a lot. Evidently you would want your mafia partner to not be pushed for no reason at all, and everyone thats defending her isnt that suspicious.
I don't understand what you are saying here. i get that you think des shouldn't be voted but then you are saying that people defending des are all town? isn't it a little early to be coming to that conclusion

I'm trying to refrain from talking about des until the game has progressed a little. I think both sides have merit. I think it's interesting that we know des has read through the thread and yet hasn't posted anything.

I think we could probably do that anyway lmao. Follower just tells you the action iirc. I think they just know more abt the set-up than we do? I'm not rlly sure tbh, htat's why I wanted to talk about it more.

How does it hurt you if we do get a protected townclear is more my question ig? Why should we keep ourselves in the dark about the set-up when I don't think it hurts us to know more?

It might actually help some of the other roles too, ie if Follower exists and finds someone who can RB, in Set-up 4 that's a 50/50 on maf or Jailkeep. In set-up 5 that's a confirmed guilty. If we know IC exists then we can confirm that it's set-up 5 and they have a clear guilty.

And for the Mason's one, I'm not rlly sure how much it helps besides two town clears, still waiting on DBD on why that's more advantageous tbh.

This is also contingent on there being any of those roles, idk how much it helps us to know that it's one of 2, 3, or 4 for the set-up if none of those exist.
